You have to be here if you are visiting Rara lake. It's offers scenic view of Himalayas alongside full view of Rara lake. 2-3 hours of hike feels worthwhile.

A must-visit place on the outskirts of Rara offers a stunning view of the lake and surrounding area, with an old village along the path to the top. Would recommend asking locals if visiting on winter due to path blockage heavy snowfall PS: Shots are from early March

Murma Top is around one and half hour walk from Murma village, around 2 hours from the lake. From Murma top you will be able to enjoy great views over Rara Lake (in the east) as well as stunning views towards the south, west and north. The latter direction offering views far into the Tibetan Plateau. This place is must visit hill top when you go to Rara.

If you ever go to Rara, then another must visit place is Murma Top. It is a view point of Rara lake. You can see beautiful view of Rara lake from the top, along with different mountain ranges including Saipal himal. The view is so beautiful and breathtaking. I definitely recommend people to visit there. It is around 2 hours of hiking from Rara lake. One can never get enough of this beautiful place.

LOVED IT!!! Murma top was beautiful. I like what I saw. And if you're in Rara, you must go to Murma Top, the view is insaneeeee. You can walk but you'll also have horse riding option( their only income).

This heavenly place is approximately 2.5hrs of walk away from Rara lake. Murma top is at the altitude of 3700m and it will greet you with a 360-degree view of the Himalayan ranges and lake itself. You can reach the top of murma in two different ways. From murma village side and army camp or danphe resort side. Murma village side is more difficult because of the steep climb of 2.5hrs whereas the army camp or danphe resort side is less hectic with gradual uphills (personal experience). We walked from the army camp side and returned to the lake via murma village. If you are staying at a hotel around salleri park or near a national park check post then you can start your hike early in the morning to the lake and get a boat and cross the lake towards the army camp and start your walk to the top of Murma. It's a long and tough walk but worth every steps.

Scintillating and mind blowing view of Rara lake from the hill top. It was a steep climb. We took horse ride from Rara to Murma top and back for almost Rs. 1800 each. A little adventurous and whole lotta fun.

No one can rate this place below 5 stars. If you are visiting rara then you must reach there to fulfill your trip. You will see the real heaven from here. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach at Murma Top from the lake. If you can't walk continuously for 3 to 4 hours you can take horse and they will charge upto Rs. 2500. Anyhow you should go this place if you are visiting rara otherwise you will miss the most beautiful view of rara.

Murma Top is a hill of 3,880 m, which is a beautiful vantage point, to see the entire Rara Lake in a single glance.

This is the fantastic place to see whole rara lake from top. It takes areound 3 hours to reach on the top in between there is two village and from top we can see very nice view of mountains Himalayan range including api along with the iconic view of rara lake . In top there is tower for radio nepal and other telecoms and we can find one person who stays there to take care of it if you talk with him nicely he will serve you a cup of black tea.

Beautiful Rara lake can be viewed from top of the Murma Top. We can reach murma top after 3 and half hour of trek or 1.5 hour horse riding from rara lake. If you are planning to visit Rara lake then this is the place you must go.

I had the incredible opportunity to hike to Murma Top in Rara National Park, and I must say, it was an adventure like no other. The journey started from Danphe Hotel, and let me tell you, it's a steep climb. Our group of nine people embarked on this challenging trek, taking our time with plenty of rest stops along the way. It took us a good three hours to reach the summit, but the effort was more than worth it.Once we reached the top, I was left absolutely awestruck by the breathtaking view that unfolded before me. The panoramic vista of the mountains and hills was simply stunning. However, here's the secret tip - don't stop at the view tower. Keep going up to the NTC tower, where you'll be rewarded with a 360-degree view that encompasses not just the natural beauty but also the local landscape. It's been said that you can even spot seven different districts from that vantage point.
