Old Muwaileh park

A really lovely community park for families and kids. The environment is clean, safe, and very family-friendly, making it a perfect place for children to play and for families to spend quality time together. It’s wonderful to have such a peaceful outdoor space in the community where people can relax, walk, and let kids enjoy themselves. A big thanks to the Sharjah Municipality for creating and maintaining such a beautiful place that supports both physical activity and mental well-being. I sincerely request the authorities to create more such spaces in every community, as every family truly needs places like this. These parks help us & our children spend more time in nature instead of on screens, which is so important nowadays as psychological and behavioral issues among children seem to be increasing.

Updayed- finally the park is open and we are very happy about it. Well lit. basketball and football courts are there. Happy to see many teens are enjoying the park. Flowers are beautiful. Going to enjoy the place definitely. My son is 5 and enjoys playing in sand. The sand here is new and he is very much happy with the kids play area. Walking track is so good too. I hear my favorite 90s songs and go for a walk daily. Thank you Sharjah Municipality 25th Nov 2025 Heard it is going to open today - 25th Nov but no hint on it. The outer surrounding places are full of litter. Dont know how kids and family can come here without fear. Need more lights and proper road. Atleast a good pavement instead of lot of sand pits.

This park was reopened for public use a few months ago and since then they have this pattern of opening the park for a few days and closing for another month without any notice to the public. You go ask them the reason why it’s closed they say it’s under maintenance. If it’s supposed to be closed for a legitimate reason the public must be informed on when it will reopen or at least update the Google maps . While new Muweilah park is always open, this locality has barely any access to an absolutely functional and a good park.

Dear Sharjah Municipality, Assalamu Alaikum, I kindly request your attention regarding the community park in our area, which has remained closed for the past two years. Our children have no proper place to play, and this situation is affecting their health, as they are forced to play in dusty outdoor areas. We deeply value the UAE and are grateful for the safety, development, and care this country provides to all residents. With great respect, we request that the park be opened at the earliest convenience so that our children can have a safe, clean, and healthy environment to play in. Your support will mean a great deal to all the families in our community. Thank you for your understanding and continuous efforts in improving our living standards.

Thanks for sharjah municipality open the park. "I really like this park; the environment is great and it's a very nice place for the community. Everything is perfect, but I have one suggestion: please install a soft rubber walking track. It would make walking and running much more comfortable for everyone. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful park!"

Everything is fine. This park have a basketball and a football court. It also have a playarea for kids so your children can enjoy. We can also walk/jog here. The only thing irritated me was the RESTROOM the cleaning facility was very poor but still i wold like to give it 5 stars

Dear Sharjah Municipality / Local Park Management, I kindly request you to reopen the park at the earliest. Most of the work appears to be completed, and instead of closing the entire park, it would be helpful if only the areas where work is still ongoing are kept closed. This will allow residents, families, and children to continue using the completed sections of the park. Thank you for your attention and support for the community.

The Park show open status here but when I visited with famythe security said it is closed, everything seams to be pretty good in park and surrounding as much the weather and rainwater is concerned. When will it be back to open for use?

Park is again closed...Management is not taking any action. This is the only park around the all buildings.. Municipality Please do something to open the park.....Thanks

To Many people smoking inside,To many bachelor’s, it should be family park, it not a family park at the moment, kindly requesting to Sharjah municipality to take necessary action.

From last 1 year still waiting for park opening. This is must requirements of a family community. Please if anyone knows the real news why not opening?

I don't know why is this park here covering so much of land when they don't want to open it my family stayed 2 years here and now finally they are going back to Pakistan I have been waiting for this neighbourhood park to open so I can bring my daughter and have some nice family time, but no they didn't opened it even now the park is ready everything is good still the park is closed I'm so disappointed 😞😞😞😞😞😞

Can someone tell if the park is open now? I don't want to walk that long and find it to be closed. My daughter loves going to parks and it's so sad to see such a beautiful place to be closed indefinitely.

Park is currently closed, requesting to sharjah municipality to open again. kids need to play.

Alhumduillah after many years, our expectation fulfilled now. Children are more happy.

It hurts when we need to do physical activity but the surrounding greenery is not accessible such as Old Muwaileh park Please open for us no matter it is paid or pass access
