Naatakwaale- One of the best theatre groups in India

As a trained artist, I am grateful to the Naatakwaale organization for providing me the opportunity to pass on my theatrical skills, training, and knowledge to the new generation. It was a wonderful experience conducting a theatre workshop with Natakwale. The participants were very enthusiastic and open to exploring creativity through theatre. During the workshop, we worked on communication, teamwork, and imagination through different theatre exercises. It was inspiring to see the participants becoming more confident and expressive with each activity. I would also like to appreciate the excellent management and smooth coordination by the Natakwale team. Their support and cooperation made the entire workshop well-organized and enjoyable. I truly value this opportunity to work with such a passionate group. Looking forward to collaborating with Natakwale again in the future.

I recently watched this Hindi adaptation of Roald Dahl’s short stories, and what an experience it was! From the very first scene, the play had me completely gripped. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions — I found myself laughing out loud at one moment, sitting on the edge of my seat in suspense the next, and even touched by the more tender moments. Every aspect of the production is beautifully executed. The direction is crisp and creative, weaving together multiple stories seamlessly so that each one flows into the next. Rashi Theatre has truly outdone itself with this one. Special mention to the entire cast — it’s incredible how most of the actors slip into multiple roles across different stories with such ease and conviction. Everyone, has given their absolute best. If you’re someone who enjoys intelligent storytelling, versatile performances, and a mix of laughter, suspense, and drama — this is an absolute must-watch.

So yesterday I watched JINI by Natakwaale. Let me tell y’all, this group has been doing something that no one has explored in the theatre world. They’re creating an anthology where the characters cross over into their next play. You should definitely watch their plays. The acting, direction, and set design are all top-notch. Please follow them and do not miss their play.

Jini” is a deeply moving play that sensitively portrays the emotional reality of a family whose only child moves abroad in pursuit of a better livelihood. I felt that the play beautifully highlighted the silent void and loneliness of the ageing father who was left behind. What makes “Jini” particularly powerful is its ability to retain the authenticity and emotional essence of this increasingly common situation. The narrative feels intimate, and profoundly human. Every character in the play was crafted with care and performed with remarkable depth, and intensity. Each character contributed meaningfully to the emotional weight of the story, making the experience both engaging and thought-provoking. “Jini” leaves a lasting impact and sets high expectations. I eagerly look forward to watching the remaining three plays in the anthology, “The Last Innings.”

I watched ‘The Twisted Tales’. Firstly, the set and lights were beautiful! Neha’s character —the performance was very touching, did a really great job. Pritam’s character was also played very well! Story 2 could have been performed better as well as the volume of music. Some parts were inaudible. Story 3 was really amazing. Ragini and Sumit were so good! Story 4’s 2nd half felt stretched. Otherwise a great performance overall! Specially the old man from the South. Both the boys were very entertaining too! ✨

The Twisted Tales... Absolutely excellent direction, excellent acting by everyone, fantastic grip by each and every character! A memorable and wonderful experience watching this awesome play..

Today I saw one of the plays "Jini" from Naatakwaale's. It was amazing. 100% to their effort and honesty. We hope to see more plays from this team, exploring more of such little explorated subjects.

I saw Gini yesterday and it was so relatable. It was really an amazing play. Especially to watch with your parents(father). To all the NRIs … do watch this play with your parents when you come to India next time.
