I went to close my account that i haven’t used for over ten years. The employee had me sign some papers and when i left i received a phone call from him telling me there was another extra paper that he forgot to let me sign. I had to drive a long distance just to sign that extra paper. After that they told me my account closure is going to take 5-10 to finalize and i would receive a call from them for confirmation. nobody called for over two weeks and i had to drive all the way to the branch again just to make sure if the process was complete. One month later, and my account closure isn’t finalized yet…what on earth are u guys doing?! Shame.

The teller machine is absolutely useless on ground floor if u have the menu services like loan n it requires civil I'd or ur bank card.. Better to talk to the receptionist n get done with it. Regards the work I have the loan section on mezzanine floor though vacant was very very helpful n very patient n interested in helping not pushy not intrusive...including Mr. Assaad Nader, Hussain faour, Yousuf abuaish.. Regarding interim loan payment on 1st floor (5 to 7 pm) is super fast from home back again in half an hour..N hassle .. Absolutely fantastic...

Be warned...NBK charges 1KD per PAGE for bank statements, required for a Schengen visa. That adds a whopping 12KD to the additional 43KD for visa costs. A whole ream of paper in Lulu's cost 1 KD. Shame on you NBK!

Poor customer service the lady at the reception desk in the evening is very unprofessional, aggressive, RASICT and very rude, i asked her how i can solve the problem with my application she told she does not know, so i wonder why she is there when she does not know what to do, she is discriminative as well when other Arabs came she helped them and she was even smiling.You should train your staff on diversity and inclusion very bad service !!!!She does not give a good picture to NBK , as a person who is the first contact between the bank and the customer she really needs some training and change of attitude, and in the 21st century are we still discriminating people based on their skin color i’m appalled !!!!

The receptionist an arab woman at the 6pm to 7pm shift in this branch is so unprofessional and not helpful at all. I was asking politely on printing my statement of account for visa and she looking pissed told me i dont have paper here as if i would know if she does not have paper or whatnot. i asked her for the nearest nbk from this branch she was like how would i know and proceeded to act like i was taking so much of her time. I dont know where the act of being so entitled is coming from but this is unacceptable when i am just asking for information which is literally part of her job. This is such unprofessional attitude with the tone of her voice and the dismissive demeanor. I hope nbk addresses this cause really - is this racial profiling or whatnot just because I am not arab i get treated shitty, I am a customer and that should be the only thing that matters

After my recent visit to this branch, I recommend that anyone with issues other than everyday banking transactions not waste their time visiting here. I would have recommended NBK at Al Assima Mall as the best alternative, but sadly they shut it down.

I had been trying to open a bank account and came to several banks,but NBK Bank in Al Salam Mall was the only bank that I found all the staff were helpful. The staff in other banks are very slow and not helpful. Sometimes I just had to wait for hours and lost my patient then I left with frustration. Without losing hope then I came and try this bank to open an account. This time I am satisfied with the service from the staff of this Bank, especially in NBK Al Salam branch.

NBK was once the best bank in Kuwait. Today the services are not what they used to be. The follow up simply does not exist. Everything is electronic. There is no one that can quickly give you an answer. You are at the mercy of a call center that depends on external parties to answer your queries. Despite having a wonderful team in the call center, that try very hard to help you… they receive costumer queries but are left hanging by other departments within the bank and hence the costumer is left hanging. This has happened to me multiple times and it is very frustrating.

Slow service, very disrespectful staff. But I don't think my review will make any difference because management of NBK stopped caring long time ago. Other Arab nationalities are more fit to nicely help customers than citizens. They're very rude.

Worst customer experience ever starting form wrong information to reception to the customer service I tried to open bank account on 27/5/2024 they told me on call center about the exact amount to open bank account which is 500kd after I arrived to the branch they said in the reception its 600 and id to open i went to the customer service I waited for not long time to be honest but when I entered he told me we will hold on your 600kd and give you credit card this is the only way to open account i told him why he said its a must I approved to get my account open after i left i called the contact center they said that its not a must and i can go to cancel my credit card and don’t have to close the account i went to the bank again on 28/5/2024 they said no we must close the account and they give me the money with fees 5 kd its not a big deal and forced me to close the account even the branch manager i talked to replied without even looking to me so rude no one talk in a good way no one wanted to collaborate or support thanks for the worst customer service ever I won’t come to such disrespectful bank again my advise go for any other bank

Pathetic teller service they don't treat all customers equally. They must improve their inconsiderate, rude attitudes. No smile, no greeting nothing. Awwwh awful branch. Doesn't seem like they like their job. gloomy bunch of employees. I will never enter this branch ever. Spoilt my day entering this branch. I know they don't care about the reviews. But it's my job to alert others and not waste their time. Nbk Ra's Al Salmiya branch is much better. Quick, fast and bright people. Go there.

I visited this branch which was relocated to alsalam mall. Ms Nehal, attended to me. She was a great listener and comforting after the ordeal I went through. Though she can’t help me but her empathy and listening ears to was a great help. NBK, you are fortunate to have a staff like her.

Extremely poor customer service at counter 6&7 for their product enquires. Do not wish to attend and assist customers directing people to call centers. Understood what info I’m looking for and made me wait for an hour only to make an excuse later that concerned person is not available. Perhaps because it was time for them to close!

I am an NBK customer and I am very unhappy about the Customers Service by Phone... There is NO way you can get someone from Customers Service if you need help by Phone!!! And if you search online for other Tell Numbers, then you'll still reach the 1801801 only!! Can one of the responsible management by NBK clarify this?

NBK Ras Salmiya. Negligence, disrespectful, discriminative attitude off the staff. For the question: Where is the other branch? I've got an answer: Ask any taxi driver. Because of negligence of one staff i went to Subhan branch, waste my time, my money, i was late for my work, was morally exhausted. While they could issue all necessary papers in Salmiya branch. Very horrible service. Because of only one staff's negligence we can see the image of everything

Unfortunately NBK became nightmare for the expats in kuwait, they simply chasing you to transfer the salary to them without highlighting that they are not giving you any kind of loans till you pass three years service then simply they are saying we will give you a loan equal to your end of service, Unlike other banks in kuwait who are very transparent and give you by far better service/support than NBK, Although I am customer for NBK since more than 10 years but since I am expat they are not going to give me anything extra which drove me to switch to another bank which sort out all issues with just WhatsApp massage, not recommended at all

Was a really great branch with friendly staff and good services. I'm a bit sad that they've closed it down, cause it's been here since my childhood. The good news is that they're relocating to Al Salam Mall, which is close by
