Nerlu Cafe

I grew up in crescent road and for me to visit this place is like going back to nostalgia. It's that kind of a calm place I'm sure we can spend hrs to sit down.. unwind or chill with your friends. The food is outstanding and the beverages are top class. I like the Tea varieties and lemon iced tea I'd my favorite. The staff is the core of the Cafe and they so caring with best customer service. I'm sure I will comeback 100 more times. Keep up the good work and quality!!

Nerlu Cafe was on our list for quite some time and we managed to come here a day after the heavy rains. Finding a parking for a four wheeler was quite the challenge over here. The ambiance is nice, loved how the open kitchen is sorta setup as the main focal aspect of the cafe. We had the following at Nerlu Cafe. Saigon Special, a cold coffee version that was strong on coconut milk while shakerato was based on black coffee. Both were pretty decent, nothing spectacular as such. Coronation Chicken is a open toast that tasted good, the small pieces of chicken were coated with masala and served fresh. Mushroom Crostini was good too, portion wise a bit small but I guess that’s fine. The place is full most of the time and I wouldn’t say you get a lot of privacy here as the tables are too close to each other.

Ideally 4.5. This is a very café-looking café, it's the kind of place you imagine when someone mentions going to a café, the kind of place you see in illustrations and cartoons and I love that. The vibe is very lowkey and chill and the decor is minimalist. Their chairs (at least the indoor seating ones) are very comfortable too. I had a really good time, because I had good company and because it was very comforting to be here. I got the elderflower espresso lemonade and it was very delicious (I love that it came with a metal straw). I thought the quiche was quite overpriced for the size but the open sandwich was loaded with chicken so it was worth it. The spices for the chicken were really popping and I think they use the same on the chips which made it really cohesive and a really good meal; I don't know where they get their chips from but they're thick cut and have a gorgeous crunch to it, really very good. The bread for the sandwich was also really good, a very well rounded plate of food. Would absolutely visit again and bring other people.

Finally checked out Nerlu for a quick coffee. I’ve passed by this place many times while driving, but never got a chance to stop since it’s usually crowded, both indoors and outdoors. I ordered a flat white and chilli cheese toast. The toast was a bit average - the base was quite hard and not very enjoyable. The flat white was decent. On the positive side, the service was quick and efficient. However, the prices are definitely on the higher end for what’s offered.

I visited Nerlu Cafe on a Sunday evening for a quick coffee catch-up with friends. It’s located in a calm and quite area, which adds to the charm of the place. The vibes and ambience were amazing, and the coffee was great. I only tried the potato wedges as I was in a hurry, so couldn’t explore the rest of the menu. I would love to visit again to try more dishes. What I liked: Ambience, vibes, coffee, and the seating area. Will I visit again? Definitely yes 😄

Location is prime. Professionals run the cafe with a clean restroom. Varities of coffee and sides. Crowd is too much though. Can't complain. Bottom line - a good place to hangout if you don't mind the background noise

Expectations: High. 📈 Reality: Mid. 📉 Finally checked out Nerlu on Race Course Road. Finding a table was harder than finding the actual coffee in my drink. ☕️🥛 • Spanish Latte: A glorified glass of milk. It didn’t wake me up; it tucked me back into bed. • Nutella Latte: The Spanish Latte’s twin, but make it slightly chocolatey. Overall a 5/10. Great for the ‘gram, but if you actually like your coffee to taste like... coffee? Skip it. ✌️✨

My order: Nutella Latte (hot) - 3.5/5 wasnt hot enough for me and little tooo sweet Hot chocolate - 4/5 again wasnt hot enough but tasted good Capers Sandwhich - 4.5/5 good quality cheese and tasted pretty good Chocolate smoothie bowl - 5/5 must try!! 😋 Ambiance was peaceful, would definitely visit again!

I had one of the worst café experiences here, and I’m genuinely so shocked. We ordered three coffees, a mocha latte, a shakerato, and another specialty coffee (from their summer menu) and every single one of them was terrible. Not just “could be better” bad, but genuinely disgusting to drink. As someone who has been drinking coffee for over 10 years and has tried cafes in multiple cities, this definitely ranks as the worst coffee I’ve ever had. The food was average at best, but the coffee, which is supposed to be your specialty, was a complete disappointment. What made the experience even worse was that two of us actually fell sick. One of my friends had a severe stomach ache, and another had such a bad reaction that she ended up vomiting multiple times. That is absolutely unacceptable. This place seriously needs to rethink what they’re serving to customers, especially if they position themselves as a coffee-focused café. So I will never be coming back. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for sure!

Beautiful cafe in a leafy bylane near the race course. A variety of food options, decent coffee, kind staff and an overall relaxed and comfy vibe. Will definitely return again as I loved the space and the ambience. They serve tea in these gorgeous ceramic cups, was sad to see that the coffee was served in underwhelming bland cups in comparison.

I had a mixed experience here. I ordered the Coffee Jelly and the Swedish Toast, both of which were delicious and well-made. However, the BLT was a major disappointment. The bacon had a very strong, sharp smell and tasted like chemicals. It felt like it might have been spoilt and treated with something to make it look presentable.

Had read about this place on LBB and was on my to visit list for quite sometime. Excellent service and helped me pack the remaining food in a nice carry away box. However, the ambience seemed a bit underwhelming and the iced latte was too frothy with less flavor/ too mild? and ice was also less so it didn't feel chill-ed. The swiss toast was actually yum and generous and too full can easily be shared. with two people! If you're looking for a cozy time this maybe not the right cafe, but for friends hangout it's a decent place with decent prices. Coffee can be better though!.

One of the best places to visit near Shivananda Circle, Neralu Cafe is known for its excellent specialty coffee and calm ambience. They have varities of coffee. It's great place for coffee lovers. I ordered their cranpresso , it was perfectly brewed. The chicken Caesar salad was bitter. Definitely recommending to try their coffees out. Service is great but parking can be a hassle.

Love this place! It is my favourite cafe in blr, great matcha here, the only matcha which I felt was authentic. Their portion sizes are filling. Every decor and corner is very simple and well thought of. The food is good too but can improve. But beverages are crazy good!

always a good time coming to nerlu. I've been coming here quite regularly now, I even bought their tote bag 😅 The staff is too good. Polite, quick and responsive. Know exactly what you want and how you like it. Everything I try at nerlu ends up being good. The last time I tried their Nutella latte. Hazelnut heaven. Tomato soup and grilled cheese? Hug from a friend you're meeting after years. Cold coffee is just right. Orangeade, refreshing and energizing. I can go on. The vibes here are superb. Even if it's busy it doesn't feel crowded. There's a spot for everyone. Me personally I like the big table with the stools. Do check this place out if you're in the area!

My most favourite and go to place! Food and beverages in this cafe is absolutely awesome! Also the place itself is in such a beautiful location within a chaotic area, this place is truly peaceful! There is both outdoor and indoor seating! I like Matcha, open sandwiches, Mexican corn toast, cinnamon toast, many more! Perfect place to find some place 🙂😊
