Really disappointed with the customer service and Duty Manager at Nesto Bilad Mall.
Today, I travelled nearly 2 km from my office during lunch time, and only at the counter did I realize that I had left my wallet at the office. I asked whether I could make the payment through a mobile transfer or transfer the amount to someone’s bank card, but the cashier said it was not possible. Customer care gave me the same answer and asked me to speak with the Duty Manager.
Unfortunately, the Duty Manager did not even properly listen to my situation. He simply said, “Sorry, go and bring your wallet.” I explained that it would be around a 4 km round trip, and with Mabela traffic, it would take at least 30–40 minutes. I was already starving, yet there was no willingness to help in any way.
What disappointed me most was the complete lack of humanity and flexibility. It would have been very easy to transfer the amount to someone’s bank card and settle the bill. I had a similar situation at Lulu a few years ago, and they kindly allowed me to transfer the amount to the cashier’s card, after which she completed the payment on my behalf.
