New West Zone Supermarket | Tecom ( Barsha Heights )

I had a bad experience with one of their staff. I don’t know the name and nationality of that guy. All I know that most of the time, he is night shift because I always see him early in the morning around 5-6am. I am familiar with their faces since my duty is always morning and sometimes I pass by Westzone first but I don’t always go there in the morning because of this guy. I think he’s been working a while in that branch since I saw him before with a colored hair. The first time I noticed him and got disappointed, he had a colored hair. Now, his hair is back to black. This is not the first time I got disappointed. There were times that I wanted to but something from the their food display at the back beside the meat section. I see him drinking tea I guess. I’m quite not sure if he’s on break but he used to ignore me and don’t assist me to the point I will feel embarrass so I always end up leaving the store disappointed. Even if he sees me, I feel like he’s trying to run away. And this morning (Dec.24,2025), I tried to buy again and again he was there but this time he was “working”. I approached him and I saw him moved his head trying to turn to me. Then another customer came, a white one. He finished his work then the white guy approached him. He took his order but HE DIDN’T EVEN BOTHER TO TAKE MY ORDER EVEN IF I WAS THE FIRST ONE THERE. He just microwaved that customer’s food and didn’t even look at me. He went to the other room while waiting (where they cut and prepare meat) AND THEN AGAIN, I LEFT THE STORE DISAPPOINTED. I am working in a hospitality industry so I know very well how to treat a customer especially the regular ones and those who came FIRST. I find this guy really bothering but the other staffs are nice and approachable.

Good place to buy your grocery if you live nearby. The supermarket is not really big and during the peak hours it is crowded. The good news that they have good prices on comparison to other supermarkets and they do good discounts on certain products . They are open 24 hours and the staff is very friendly

There is night shift are very good.very kindly to peoples and talk very nicely .manager also explaining about the selling items very good.❤️❤️

I had a very bad experience at this West Zone branch yesterday 16.10.2025 I bought an apple and gave a 50 dh note, but the cashier Philippine lady said there was no change. Only card payment She spoke to me very rudely. When I questioned her, she told me to go and complain. The customer service was terrible and the staff was very disrespectful. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable. Management should train their staff better.

This is the last place I'd recommend buying meat from. The meat was rotten, spoiled, and infested with worms 🪱, and it had a terrible smell. I discovered this after I got home and opened it. What's more, I bought two types of meat, not one, and it took them ages to respond. Even though they sent someone to collect the meat and refunded me, I still felt compelled to report this incident. The issue wasn't just about the meat; it was about the person they sent, who apparently worships cows, to collect the meat. As someone who respects all beliefs and religions, I found it utterly insensitive of the store to send someone who considers cows sacred to collect spoiled meat. I'm still upset about the lack of respect they showed both to their employee's feelings and to mine, especially after I apologized multiple times and even bagged the meat multiple times to avoid causing any distress. Honestly, I'd advise against dealing with them

The worst westzone branch I've ever been to, All the staff are lazy and don't know how to communicate properly with customers. The filipina cashier is so damned. A male staff mopped the floor while eating chewing gum he hit my foot several times but didn't even apologize. A Pakistani small guy Inside the pork section was arranging pork for display he's joking with his partner and shouting very loudly near my ear knowing I was next to him and he didn't even care about the customer. And after I weighed the vegetables and the male staff in the weighing section yawned several times in front of me while weighing. It's not my first time at this branch, how many times have I been there because it's close to my building and I've always encountered that thing. I understand how tiring your work is, but don't treat the customer like that. It happened Monday around 5pm.

The quality of fresh fruits and vegetables are really poor. And prices are high.. I can recommend to use Carryfour near masjid instead of west zone.. The staffs are very rude and not helpful at all.. Especially when u go to the bakery section no one ll be there to assist you. if u approach to any staffs around they behave like it's not there job..

Basically it is good chain of malls which I really like but in this shop something wrong compare with others. Choice of goods is less. Sometimes expired items on shelves... I can understand something with long time of life got expired because of big stock. But salads or laban should be checked daily!!

My everyday to go place in Barsha Heights.I always check out fresh items like fruits and vegetables especially seafood items. The staff are very accomodating and very friendly.This store branch like a family when they treat costumer.Veru recommended store especially in the heart of Barsha Height were very expensive nowadays only in Westzone you can get very affordable items...

I always love going to westzone especially on Friday's.A must go every Friday in Barsha Tecom branch, there's a lot of sale offers. A budget friendly store and i can highly recommend this to everyone specially with a tight budget. I must commend also the staff of the store they are very friendly and kind always happy to help and assist all the costumers. I stay only in Barsha Heights so theres no way I cannot visit Westzone Supermarket.Always my To-Go, To do List....

Poor delivery service. It took forever for you to receive the delivery. And most of the times they are giving over ripe fruits/vegetable and incomplete items. They’re not even calling you for any substitute items and you will get surprise because the original price that you choose online is higher because they replace some items (brand) that you order. Meat and fish section is not 24/7 unlike other westzone Branch.

Good offers weekly. You can find the best prices in the area with good quality as well. They have home delivery. The Staff are so helpful and friendly.

Good prices and offers, just they need to have wider space it’s kinda tight moving around.

Today i called at 10:35 am ask about the king fish told me price and after when i came to shop was other price

This branch is unorganized. Got charged a price higher than the amount mentioned in the price tag on the shelves. Only to find out when I got home and checked the receipt. Happened to me twice already. Will avoid this branch from now on.
