شهر فرینگ یکی از شش روستای تگاب ایمند می باشد که بیشتر ۱۵۰ خانوار مسکونی دارد،سطح معیشتی مردم پائین بوده زراعت ومالداری از مهم ترین منبع تامین نفقه آنها محسوب میشود؛وجوانان بخاطر کسب درآمد به کشورهای همسایه سفر می نمایند ودیگر روستاها ازین قاعده مستثنی نیستند. نام قبلی این روستا فرینگ یا فرنگ بوده ودر وجه تسمیه اش بگو مگوهای زیادی وجود دارد، اقوال گوناگون تا اکنون به صورت شفاهی منقول است که گویا یکی از قبایل ارمن وفرنگ قبل از میلاد این جا زیست داشته اند وسپس به اروپا سفرنموده اند وکدام مستند علمی،کتیبه وسنگ نوشته که بتواند این ادعاء ره اثبات نماید وجود ندارد و موضوع نیازمند ژرف بیشتری است.

Very peaceful and well-maintained mosque. A special place for Muslims visiting Beijing. The surrounding area has many halal food options, making it very convenient and welcoming.

MaShaAllah, this is a beautiful masjid in a great location. I was traveling for two days and missed my didi ride, arriving around 1:30, thinking I had missed the jamaat but Alhamdulillah, I was blessed to still find it. It felt like such a meaningful coincidence, and I’m truly grateful for the experience. There’s plenty of halal food nearby, and the people here are incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. For new people in China I have included the station in the picture so you can find your subway. From this station out walk straight Niu Jie street, at traffic intersection take left you will see Masjid on your right hand side in 100m.

Closed for visitors, only open for prayers. Kids are also not allowed inside during construction. Otherwise, very nice quiet mosque in the heart of Beijing. It is one of the oldest mosques in Beijing and part of the city’s history, it is currently going through restoration and is closed for visitors. Only Muslims can come for prayers.

I was born and raised in Niujie, and today I work as a local guide in Beijing. For me, Niujie is not simply a place to visit — it is my home and my community. Niujie has long been the heart of Beijing’s Muslim community, with a history that spans centuries. Niujie Mosque stands as a symbol of that history, representing generations of faith, culture, and continuity in this part of the city. While Niujie is well known for its halal food, what truly makes this area special is its deep historical atmosphere and living traditions. Here, history is not displayed behind glass — it is part of everyday life, reflected in the streets, the people, and the rhythm of the community. As a guide, Niujie is one of my favorite places to introduce to visitors. It offers an authentic and meaningful perspective of Beijing that goes far beyond typical tourist routes. This is a place to slow down, observe, and understand the city on a deeper level. Niujie is not just a destination you walk through — it is a place you experience, remember, and respect.

A small mosque, maybe can cater for 200- 300 jemaah or maybe more. The mosque also have a room for ladies, toilet with bidets, and ablution. The mosque have a main hall and also also open space for prayer. This mosque also conduct friday prayer, in local langguage. The entrance would be at the side of the area facing the main road, I am not sure the road name , but once i got the name, insyaAllah will edit my posting.

我去清真寺做晌礼。起初只有我一个人，非常安静。后来几位长者来了，他们热情好客。清真寺很漂亮，风格传统。附近也有很多美食。

A beautiful and serene place of worship. Niujoe Mosque is cozy, very clean, and carries a classic charm with its old yet monumental design. The architecture reflects a deep historical legacy, making it not just a mosque, but a timeless monument. A peaceful place to pray and reflect — highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

The area around the mosque is an Islamic quarter with a lot of Islamic shops, restaurants , eateries, bakeries, supermarkets etc. very unique and good for the Islamic community, or tourists. There’s many long Q for the shops and have long history. So I think it’s very popular even for the locals. The mosque itself is adjacent to the popular shops. But unfortunately it’s closed for 3 years renovation from Feb 2025. There’s an ancient boundary wall still left behind. Interesting stuff. Hope I can see inside.

Main gate is closed for renovation, but we can enter from the side gate in Shuru Hutong. The congregational prayer usually starts quite a while after the actual adhan time.

بمسجد نيوجيه Niujie وهو أقدم مسجد في شمال الصين، بني سنة 996م، وكان المسجد صغير الحجم في بادئ الأمر، ثم أصبح على حجمه الحالي بعد عمليات توسع في فترة أسرتي مينغ وتشينغ (11911-1368م)، وفي سنة 1474م أطلق الإمبراطور عليه اسم لي باي سي الذي يعني (دار الصلاة). ولما تم ترميمه سنة 1696م على حساب البلاط الإمبراطوري، منح لوحا مكتوبا عليه "دار الصلاة الإمبراطورية".

Amazing mosque! North west gate is open if you look straight at main gate

The mosque is currently undergoing a 3-year long renovation since mid 2024. FYI there is a small prayer hall at the back that is open to public for prayer.

Under renovation, however part of it is open for daily prayer, during Ramadan they offer snacks and tea to break your fasting.

المسجد فيه أعمال ترميم من تاريخ ٢٠٢٤/٨/١٩ م و قد تستمر الأعمال لمدة ٣ سنين، لكن فيه جزء منه ما زال مفتوح للصلاة و تصميمه جميل جدًّا و قريب منه فيه مطاعم حلال و سوق (سوبرماركت) كامل كله منتجات حلال Most of the mosque is closed for renovations since 19/8/2024 , but there is a small prayer area still open

Niujie Mosque adalah masjid tertua dan paling terkenal di Beijing, China. Lokasinya ada di kawasan Niujie, distrik Xicheng, yang juga dikenal sebagai pusat komunitas Muslim Hui di Beijing. Tempat ini bukan cuma tempat ibadah, tapi juga punya sejarah lebih dari 1.000 tahun dengan arsitektur unik perpaduan budaya Tiongkok dan Islam. “Pas pertama kali sampai di Niujie Mosque, aku langsung kagum karena vibes-nya beda banget dari masjid yang biasa aku lihat. Dari luar arsitekturnya lebih mirip kuil tradisional China, tapi begitu masuk terasa banget nuansa islami dan suasananya super tenang. Area sekitar masjid juga ramai dengan makanan halal khas Beijing, jadi habis keliling aku sekalian kulineran. Menurut aku ini salah satu hidden gem di Beijing karena bisa ngerasain sejarah, budaya Muslim di China, sekaligus lihat perpaduan arsitektur yang unik banget. Tempatnya bersih, adem, dan cocok buat wisata religi maupun sekadar cari pengalaman baru waktu di China.” Happy banget bisa Shalat di Mesjid Niujie Mosque di Negara China 🇨🇳 MasyaAllah Tabarakallah
