Visually stunning and full of character, this place has such a great vibe for a relaxed meal. We came for breakfast and tried a bit of everything, and honestly, everything was solid. The food was good, the service was even better, and what really stood out was the Omani team, genuinely warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel more personal. مكان جميل جدًا من ناحية الشكل وأجواؤه مميزة، مناسب لوجبة هادئة. زرناه وقت الإفطار وجربنا عدة أطباق، وكانت التجربة بشكل عام موفقة. الأكل جيد والخدمة أفضل، وأكثر شيء لفت انتباهنا هو فريق العمل العُماني، كانوا لطفاء ومرحبين جدًا وخلو التجربة أجمل.

We had breakfast here and it was a really lovely experience. The place has a beautiful boho and hippie vibe and the interior is absolutely stunning, even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The breakfast was tasty. Some of the mezze were a bit less to my personal taste, but that’s subjective. I do hope they’ll add more juice options to the menu in the future. Coffee was great! We truly enjoyed our time here. It’s a relaxed and cozy spot and definitely a place to be if you’re in Nizwa. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Tip: If you’re in Nizwa on a Friday, it’s perfect to visit the goat market early in the morning and then come here for brunch . A great way to start the day. Free 🍉

Niz Cafe was an outstanding breakfast experience and a real highlight of our time in Nizwa. From the moment we arrived, the space felt calm, welcoming, and beautifully considered — a modern aesthetic that still respects the heritage of the area. The breakfast spread was exceptional: fresh, generous, and clearly prepared with care. The hummus was silky and perfectly balanced, the falafel crisp and flavourful, and the accompanying salads, olives, and condiments were thoughtfully curated rather than thrown together. Everything was served on beautiful wooden ware, which elevated the experience without feeling pretentious. Service was warm and attentive, and the pace was relaxed — exactly what you want for a morning meal. If you’re looking for a café in Nizwa that combines quality food, great coffee, and a refined but comfortable atmosphere, Niz Cafe absolutely delivers. We’d return without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Ate breakfast here each day because of the hotel provides it via this cafe. Breakfast was nice. We ordered coffee as it wasn't included in the 'deal'. It was warm both times, despite asking for it to be hot. Nice roof terrace area. Everyone who worked there had an 'attitude' which was different than almost any other cafe in Nizwa.

A truly perfect oasis in the old part of Nizwa. The setting and decoration is outstanding and it is bolstered by the quality of the food and drink. The breakfast was incredible and beautifully presented. Please go and experience this very special cafe. The roof terrace with views of the surrounding architecture and palm trees is not to be missed.

A very nice, modern place for breakfast. You can create your own set by choosing individual dishes (up to four) from the menu. The food was very tasty — the daal and hummus with meat in particular stood out. The pricing was genuinely fair. I especially recommend sitting on the rooftop. Unfortunately, one dish in our order was mixed up and the labneh, which should be included in every breakfast set, was missing. That said, it’s still a really nice spot for breakfast.

Similarly to other reviews, our accommodation has partnered with this cafe for the breakfast. And I understand, there are more than one B&Bs working in this way. The space is really beautiful and there are plenty of seats. The breakfast per se was delicious: small dishes of local cuisine and tea. However, it is not the morning breakfast I am looking for (sausage with 🌶️🫑 at 8am?!). Since these hotels and cafe cater tourists, they should have a better arrangement in place regarding the breakfast options offered.

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce aby poczuć klimat starego miasta w Nizwie przy kubku kawy. Pyszne desery i bardzo miła obsługa. Chwilę czekaliśmy na podanie kawy i deserów ale było warto! Piękny taras i wnętrza kawiarni!

Excellent cafe - interiors are wonderful and the service was great! We visited more than once during our short stay in Nizwa. Highly recommend the cheesecake!! Thank you for the great hospitality!

Excellent petit dejeuner, varié, proteinné, ambiance cosy, differents emplacements où s'installer à votre convenance. Accueil très chaleureux. Un tres bon café et autres breuvages..à déguster

That perfect place for breakfast and dinner can say try to improve my negative images for Nizwa restaurants. Our host from the near hotel bring as there we we was very happy what we got- in small plates different dishes all of them very tasty as don’t miss the local tea and good coffee. And remark the very good service of the whole team kind , smile and welcoming- bravo

Our hotel hosted breakfast here. Comes with a set of Omani traditional breakfast with tea. Or order V60 drip coffee which was fantastic. They also offer verity of drink selection, coffee and non-coffee. Beautiful place.

During our stay in Nizwa, we had our breakfast at Niz Café and we really liked the amazing and tasty food, the kindess from the heart of the staff and the beautiful venue. Thanks to the great hospitality of Salem & Sam (and the best coffe in Nizwa) our days started wonderful! Thank you, Kitty & Zsolt

Accueil désastreux, pas un sourire , pour le petit déjeuner , inclus dans un hôtel où nous logions, si vous voulez du café … il faut le payer , il n’est pas compris ! Et ce n’est pas bon marché . Je demande du sucre , le garçon me dit “ désolé il n’y a pas de sucre “ je descends voir le patron , un occidental qui parle anglais , cela semble compliqué, je l’ennuie , finalement on me donne du sucre. nous souhaitons un second café , on me rappelle qu’il sera payant …”oui, je sais , j’ai juste envie d’un café” on attend 15 minutes pour voir apparaître un café au lieu des deux commandés et ainsi de suite … Le point très positif, la terrasse en roof top est ultra cool , le petit déjeuner est bof , omelette froide et toutes petites portions, j’ai faim en quittant l’établissement et je ne mange pas comme un ogre. En clair , Il y a du boulot ! Sourire en souhaitant “bonjour “ déjà ne serait pas mal. Les portes de prison en vacances , bof, bof alors que les Omanais sont ultra sympas et accueillants

We had a lovely breakfast here sat on their roof terrace. Would recommend if you want a peaceful spot to have a delicious breakfast. Great mango juice.

A hidden gem in the heart of Nizwa’s old city! Surrounded by flowers and ancient walls, it felt like a dream. Sam and Ammar’s kindness touched our hearts — they even helped us find a place to stay. The food was delicious, the people unforgettable. An experience we’ll cherish forever.
