Nizwa View Cafe

Absolutely amazing place! Very friendly staff! Great view! We were guests at the hotel and had our last dinner together with Youssef‘s group here. Very beautiful table, excellent food. They have many vegetarian options and delicious Omani dishes as well. Highly recommended by me 😋!

Rooftop cafe above Old Town Hotel, has an amazing view of the city. Calm, peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The food was great, and great drinks selection. Would have loved for the coffee options to have more milk options. Great service, friendly staff. Would love to go back again.

Best view of the old town as it is 360 view and one of the highest points. Right next to the Nizwa Fort and Nizwa Souq. Other the eggplant dip (not humus) which is particularly good. Some dishes though were not available

Probably the best rooftop view over Nizwa and certainly the highest. A very laid-back spot with great drinks and excellent service. We kept coming back because it was always such an enjoyable experience.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und nette Leute. Der Mann unten am Eingang war sehr und vor allem der Kellner Mohammad war sehr sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Really lovely restaurant with delicious food. Mix of local and international food. The local food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Amazing waiter from Syria who was an amazing Arabic teacher 🫶🏻 lovely staff, lovely food and lovely views

Lovely atmosphere with a great view of Nizwa fort! Certainly the best coffee we have had in Oman - also delicious cheesecake! Definitely worth a visit :)

Abbiamo cenato sulla terrazza panoramica. Piatti buoni e staff molto disponibile e gentile. Consigliato!

a Nizwa e’ stato difficile trovare un posto per avere un pranzo plant- based. Ho girato alcuni locali ma o avevano poco interessanti scelte o semplicemente non mi dacano fiducia ( vedi pulizia e fiducia nel cameriere che capiva poco l’inglese e pensava che le uova andavano bene!) alla fine arrivo in questo caffè, nella terrazza di un albergo e la vista mi piace, sulla fortezza, inoltre il cuoco era disponibile e ha preparato piatti a base di verdure e legumi molto buoni. Bisogna ordinare al piano terra il cibo - chiedete del cuoco sono disponibili e capiscono . Ho mangiato bene e tanto con una vista sulla fortezza e suq mollo bella

Ein guter Ort, um nach der Besichtigung der Burg einen kleinen Snack, ein kleines Getränk zu sich zu nehmen und dann den Sonnenuntergang und die Aussicht zu genießen.

Hard to catch . Only one small elevator to the second floor, but the café was actually on the third floor. Staff were polite, but there was no smoking area and the menu wasn’t appealing, so we left.

We had a wonderful meal here with wonderful service and have now come back for a second evening.

Great view of Nizwa. I found prices to be on the higher side. Service was quite chaotic as we had to ask 3 times to get the drinks we ordered. But at least they were nice, apologised and offered us a juice to make up for it.
