NMC is celebrating 50+ years of Excellence in Healthcare and I will be celebrating 40 years of my service in Abu Dhabi after 25 days, Insha Allah. I have long attachment with NMC Abu Dhabi (February 1994 – September 2016) while working with ADNOC Gas Processing (GASCO) and (991 – 1994) while working with Costain Abu Dhabi. ADNOC Gas Processing (GASCO) was the first company to sign agreement with NMC to provide medical service to employees. Since NMC collapse in 2020 due to hidden debt, we started using other medical facilities in Abu Dhabi. My wife Sultana Zaheer was admitted to NMC on 07 February, 2026 due to severe Abdomen pain and was admitted in the Gynaecologist Department in the supervision of Dr. Sunita Gupta. She was referred to Dr. Balaji Balasubramaniam; after undergoing several tests, she was admitted on 27 February, 2026 for Biopsy Surgery. Throughout all the procedures, Dr. Balaji Balasubramaniam remained professional, compassionate, and supportive. His calm approach gave me confidence that my wife was in good hands at every step of the process. He genuinely cares for his patients. He is a very attentive listener and took time to understand our concerns, which made us feel comfortable and reassured. I would like to thanks Dr. Sunita Gupta, Dr. Rajitha Lokadasan, Dr. Raja Kollu, Dr. Yogesh M. Gohil and all the Nurses who assisted my wife during consultations and admission. They were consistently kind, attentive, and sincerely caring — their warmth made a big difference in our experience.

After 10 years of marriage and two heartbreaking pregnancy losses due to cervical shortening, I was finally blessed with a successful pregnancy on my third attempt. From the very beginning, I was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which made my pregnancy even more challenging. However, Dr. Shubha Shankari Manjunath monitored my condition very carefully and ensured that every necessary precaution and procedure was taken throughout my pregnancy journey. More than just providing medical care, she constantly motivated me, gave me courage, and filled me with confidence during every stage of my pregnancy. Alhamdulillah, with her support and guidance, I safely delivered a healthy baby girl. I am truly grateful to Dr. Shubha Shankari Manjunath for her exceptional care, dedication, and compassion. I would also like to sincerely thank the postpartum nurses and the entire nursing team for their kindness, patience, and support after delivery. They were very caring and helpful in teaching me how to handle and care for my newborn baby. I will always remain thankful to the entire team for making this journey safe and memorable.

My pregnancy journey with Dr. Sunita Gupta at NMC Specialty Hospital was truly excellent and unforgettable. I first met Dr. Sunita Gupta on November 14, 2024, when I came to seek a second opinion after the loss of my first baby. From our very first consultation, she was extremely professional, helpful, patient, and thorough in explaining everything to me. Most importantly, she comforted and reassured me in a very professional and compassionate way, which meant so much during such a difficult time. In June 2025, I became pregnant again, and without hesitation, I chose her to be my official OB-GYN. Throughout my entire pregnancy, she consistently provided outstanding care, guidance, and support, always making me feel safe, confident, and well cared for every step of the way. On February 15, I successfully delivered a healthy baby boy. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Sunita Gupta for taking such wonderful care of me during one of the most important and cherished periods of my life. Thank you, Doctor, for your dedication, kindness, and exceptional care. She is highly professional and truly knows what she is doing. I recently had a minor procedure at NMC Hospital, and I am extremely impressed with the level of care and professionalism I experienced throughout. From the very beginning, Dr. Balaji was attentive, thorough, and very reassuring. He took the time to explain the procedure in detail, answered all my questions patiently, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident before the surgery. On the day of the procedure, the entire team was organized, efficient, and caring. The nurses were extremely supportive, checking in regularly and ensuring that I was comfortable and at ease at every step. Even after the procedure, they continued to monitor my recovery closely, provided guidance on care, and made sure I had everything I needed. We had an excellent experience at NMC Hospital during my delivery. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sindhu for her calm, confident, and compassionate care throughout the process. She explained everything clearly and made me feel safe and reassured at every stage. I would also like to deeply appreciate the entire Labour & Delivery nursing team. Their kindness, patience, and constant support made a huge difference. They were attentive, encouraging, and truly caring towards both mother and baby. Honest review if you want to consider it. Some Poor nursing staff and some doctors with no respect for confidentiality. I gave birth with Dr Urvi and she is a really great doctor. I got the natural birth package in this hospital and visited Dr Urvi once in order to get the package. The reception staff in the medical center is very poor and they don't know about their company policy, for example, that each consultation comes with a free follow up within 7 days. The doctor ordered me to do some tests and I contacted the hospital several times to tell me about the availability and costs and they never did. The day that my labour began, I came in for an emergency and I was held at the door by the reception because they were requiring payment even though I told them about our package. I was later let inside the room and got checked by a doctor that I can't find her information on and she went and told my family members about my emergency and didn't tell me anything. I was informed by family members what my problem was rather than the doctor. I told my husband to call the doctor and explain to me what the issue is rather than everyone else. This was so unprofessional from a doctor. She didn't ask me for my consent in providing my information to anyone. The next day I went to visit Dr Urvi again and I was admitted. The nursing staff was a mix, there were some good nurses and some poor treating nurses. There was one that was very forceful and rude. The same doctor that was there in my emergency did the same thing while I was admitted and she has no care for patient confidentiality. She kept telling everything to my in laws and wouldn't address me or tell me about my progress. The second biggest issue was that I was given an epidural by a male doctor and one of the nurses who made a joke out of it and I felt very tricked. I told them it was okay because I thought they only had a male doctor so I provided a misinformed consent. I was in the middle of procedure and the nurse calmly and jokingly laughed and told me that there is a female doctor but she wasn't available at the moment. I felt very betrayed by the staff because this is a Muslim country and women should first be offered a female staff member. In the end I gave birth through c section that was done by Dr Urvi and she did a phenomenal job. My daughter ended up with breathing issues and the pediatrician there told my husband that she needs a type of injection that can only work within 2 to 4 hours of life that is 20k dhs. The nicu there is very poor. They allow all family members to go in and touch the baby. My husband called corniche hospital and asked them if he should keep our daughter in nmc and do this procedure and they said absolutely not and that she should be transferred to corniche. After birth, I was in a good room. However some nurses were kinda unpleasant. There was one nurse who came in to check my vitals and I was eating a piece of chocolate and she shamed me for eating it because I was apperently obese and it could stall my c section recovery. I had a long tough labour, one chocolate would not open up my c section wound. I would only recommend this hospital if you are getting treated by Dr Urvi. There were 2 doctors that were doing rounds and I wouldn't go to them. I am giving it 1 star because of the doctors who didn't respect my privacy and mostly because they didn't inform that they had a female doctor that gives epidurals.

Visa Medical Exam; We had an excellent experience at this clinic for our visa medical exam. The entire staff was professional, kind, and extremely well-organized. From the moment we arrived, they guided us clearly through every step of the process, which made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring. The doctor and nurses were respectful, patient, and thorough, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. The administrative staff was also very helpful and efficient, ensuring that all documents and requirements were handled properly and on time. I truly appreciate the professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail shown by the entire team. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing a visa medical exam.

My wife had a procedure at NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi carried out by Dr. Balaji. Dr. Balaji is very attentive, systematic and very supportive from the very first consultation. He explained the treatment plan in detail, tests & procedure and clarified our queries as & when asked and made us comfortable before & after the procedure with his frequent interactions. The team with Dr. Balaji is very patience, efficient and caring. Post procedure, the nurses on 6th floor were quite attentive, guiding & supportive and stay was quite comfortable. Team from NMC other departments (Radiology, Insurance, Endocrinology, Pharmacy, etc.) involved in my wife’s case were very much supporting from the beginning. Overall, the hospital has a very supportive & caring environment. We would highly recommend Dr. Balaji to patients who seek treatment requiring his expertise.

From the very first consultation, she made me feel heard, understood, and reassured. She patiently listened to my concerns, explained my condition and treatment plan clearly, and never made me feel rushed. I had a wonderful experience with Dr Balaji and his entire team. From the first consultation to the follow-up and surgery, the level of detail provided was incredible. Dr Balaji explain every step of the procedure, which really put my mind at ease and kept me comfortable throughout. I had a vaginal delivery on 16th January at NMC specialty hospital abudhabi and my experience at this hospital was very positive. The staff, including both nurses and doctors, were extremely supportive throughout my labor and delivery. I am especially grateful to Dr. Sindhu ann korah and Dr. Sunitha Gupta for their kindness, patience, and excellent care. The labour ward was very clean and well maintained, and the nurses were always attentive and encouraging. The hospital also provides prenatal training classes, which were very useful throughout my pregnancy journey and helped me feel more confident and prepared. All necessary tests were done in a timely and well-organized manner, which made the process very convenient. I truly appreciate the wonderful care I received and would highly recommend this hospital.

I have been seeing Dr. Babita Mekkayil for my psoriatic arthritis, and my experience with her has been very positive. She is very knowledgeable and clear in her approach. She quickly understands the condition and explains everything in a simple, honest way. I really appreciate that she speaks openly about the chronic nature of the illness and focuses on proper long-term management rather than setting false expectations. Her consultations are always clear and to the point. She makes sure I understand the treatment plan and what I should expect going forward. This has helped me feel more confident and in control of my condition. I would highly recommend Dr Babita and this particular NMC hospital. The staff and the teams are excellent here.
