Had an amazing experience in being a part of the initiative Ghumantu Pathshala by NSSS Foundation. Interacting with children from underprivileged background was very fulfilling. Got to know their aspirations and struggles. Guided them on the importance of education and how it can be life changing. Along with that, taught them basic maths and English, first steps to a good education. It was also a learning and enriching experience for me. It made me realise that potential is everywhere, it just needs guidance to shine. I appreciate the efforts that NSSS is putting in making a meaningful difference to the children.

A few days ago, I had the privilege of spending a day at an all-girls school, combining entertaining activities with significant discussions. We had fun games about teamwork, explored painting and creativity, and shared about soft skills such as confidence, communication, and teamwork. It was truly inspiring to see how the girls responded with energy and willingness to participate. The students' willingness to try new things, hold each other accountable, and openly share thoughts and ideas, made the whole experience so memorable. Every minute of the day, in a game, when painting, and when receiving their small gifts and supplies, communicated their amount of light and eagerness to learn. I had a wonderful experience while volunteering for the NSS foundation and the ghumantu pathshala. Under the initiative, I got the opportunity to teach some poor kids by the metro station who do not have a proper access to formal education. Spending time with them was very heart warming, they learned a lot of new things like countings, drawing shapes etc. I am grateful to become a part of this opportunity.
