Ocean Ripples Resort

We spent a wonderful day at Oceans Ripple Resort, where we also hosted our Avurudu celebration. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was great, and the staff provided excellent support throughout. We especially enjoyed playing many Avurudu games, which made the experience even more memorable for our team. Went for day out with family and friends. Service was good and we took the whole place and only we were there. Pool was clean and a tile was broken. Two kids faced minor cut due to that. Had enough space to play as well.

We recently visited this hotel for a group day out, and I must say it was an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The place itself is beautiful, with a great ambiance that adds to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that satisfied all tastes. Considering the quality of service, food, and atmosphere, it was definitely worth the price. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great getaway!

It's really great place for a day out. We played cricket, football and many fun team games. There was a good space in the yard. Swimming pool was not too big but managed to use 20-25 pax at once.Lunch was very tasty Bites were also delicious. Desserts were great. The staff was also friendly. Got 2 rooms. There was no AC. It would be good if there was AC. It's hard to got little children to sleep since the rooms were too hot.We took our own sound system. I recommend this place for a family day outings and gatherings.

We went to celebrate a birthday with a large group (50pax). This place is ideal for day outings and the best part is you don’t get to share it with other groups. We also got a complimentary room. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our birthday party/outing a memorable one. Everyone enjoyed the food, service, the pool and the ambience. Couldn’t have asked for more for the price. We highly recommend this place for any family function/ fun day outing.

Nice pool. Clean and chic rooms. Food was good, we had a fairly large crowd and they catered for all, plus a big garden that enables multiple team and group activities. Special call out to the sprinker system on the roof that kept the whole place cooler on a sunny day. Perfect for a small group getaway.

Good place to hang out with the family and friends. If you book the whole place you have your own privacy. Decent price for a day out and ample space for kids to run around or play cricket. The pool has the right temperature and you feel like dipping in anytime.

This place was amazing. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Foods were delicious. It was clean and pleasant to the eye all throughout. And since it was close to both the station and Galle road getting it was accessible for everyone.Could easily recommend this place for a function or any sort of get-together where you want to have a good time and relax .

Very quiet place to spend the leisure time. For kids , there is a very spacious garden and a pool. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Food is very sumptuous. We can recommend this place without any hesitation, for a family outings , get togethers, Office Trips etc. etc. . We had a very enjoyable time.

Great place to have a family, friends, office get togethers. Nice and quite place located rigt next to the beach. Their food and service is highly recommended. Pool is not that much special and deep. Suitable for kids as well since the maximum depth is around 4ft. Rooms are not that luxury kinda simple and fulfilling the basic need of a changing room and resting place

Very bad service, very very much money oriented than service, food also not as per the price, i don’t recommend this place, no proper wash room, no proper AC. Charging 45k just to feed 15 people with very much average food. Obviously people do come to spend a great time. And they take only one set of group per day, we were told that we should leave the place by 6 pm, but the way they asked us to leave the place was very unprofessional. We paid 45k per 10 persons stay, but we were treated as of we stayed for free. Don't waste ur money spending in this money oriented place.This is not a villa, grabbing money by very low Level service. High disgraceful.

We were there with some of our friends & families for a annual get together. The overall arrangements & customer service was outstanding. The dinner menu which was tailor made to the our requirement was very tasty & well presented. The operations manager (Kamal) was present there from the arrival to the departure of the last guest. He went in to all the little details to make sure that every one of us are happy & comfortable. Excellent ! Deepal De Alwis

Better place for day outing in weekends

The location and surrounding area is scenic and beautiful. Hotel is very well-maintained. Highly recommended for get-togethers, tea parties, and 1-day family outings etc. Food was delicious and we really enjoyed our stay.

To start off the experience we had here was fantastic specifically because of the staff and how friendly they were. The swimming pool on the other side was clean and couldn’t wait to get in. The food was cheap and delicious. The rooms were spacious and cozy.

The place is very nice, calm and quite well-maintained. However the hospitality needs improvement. The owner was very rude and had made bookings extremely close together which required us to hurry out of our room. She also didnt respect our privacy as guests over there. In addition the owner deceited us as we had been told that the pool was 40 ft × 15 ft, however when we got there we found that it was barely half the mentioned size. If not for these inconveniences our stay there might have been more enjoyable.

29/07/23 Today we (25 people) went for a day out at ocean ripples resort. We are really disappointed about the swimming pool as it has too much chlorine which results in inability to even open eyes and it is also very small. The tiles were also broken and cut inside the swimming so many of our friends got injured. Ina edition to that it is very hot and the fan isn’t effective at all. The management didn’t turn the ac on in the room and bedsheet wasn’t even arranged (there was no bedsheet). Conversely to all of that, the food was tasty.
