This bakery has a very nostalgic and feel good vibe. Great custard danish, Crossiants. Loved their cream cheese bagel. Custard tart was also good. Brownie wasn’t the best thing i tried thou. Focaccia and breads were also good.

Old Madras Baking Company is a hidden gem for anyone who loves fresh, all-natural baked goods! Their multigrain sourdough, coconut bun, and babka are absolute must-tries. Everything is made with 100% butter and olive oil, so it's safe even for kids and elders. The quality, taste, and warmth in every bite really stand out. Loved the Madras filter coffee too – strong and aromatic! Highly recommend visiting, especially on weekends.

This cafe is delightful like none other. They bake their own breads and snacks right in front of you. The seating area is ample and neat. They have a collection of great condiments on the shelves that one can purchase. Everything in the store is fresh and the ambiance is airy and neat. The potato bun and cupcakes are not to be missed. I tried their sourdough bread which was heavenly. They have ample parking spaces in the front of the cafe.

The experience was a mixed bag. While the food was served fresh, the taste didn't quite live up to expectations. I sampled several dishes, finding them neither outstanding nor particularly disappointing. However, there was room for improvement, especially in the flavor profile of the cookies. Overall, it was an okay experience, but with some aspects that could be enhanced for a more satisfying dining experience.

Love love Loved the food. Surely on the expensive side but the quality seems worth it. Tried a tuna sandwich(which wasn't too fishy), a Portuguese custard tart, victoria cake. All 3 were excellent. The sizes were also good. What turned us off was that everything was served in a paper plate and disposable cutlery. It was very difficult to cut the tart and the base keeps moving around. Same issue mixing sugar in a tall glass of coffee For the high price paid and high quality of food, I expect proper plates and cutlery. I'd prefer ordering from them instead of eating at their shop.

Found a COCKROACH in the cabinet. God knows what safety and hygiene rules they follow. It ran over all the food items. Their quality has fallen off a truck too.

This is close to our home and their 🥯 bagel with cream cheese reminds me of the one we had in New York NYC. Other baked items are also well done and yummy. Staff is cooperative and helpful.

An amazing place. Food is awesome You can have a view of the kitchen as well, as they have an open kitchen. They make freshly baked products, from bread to cake to Sandwiches to everything Have a cup of MADRAS COFFEE too, it’s served in a cute and coloured cup. All fresh baked goods. Healthy and delicious options plus fresh pastries that are fabulous. And….very good cappuccino(important !) with very pleasant staff. How did I not see this place before. Highly recommend.

Great place for a mini get-together or a date. They have great snacks and drinks, yet I think they're better known for their breads, which looked delicious. Probably what I'll be ordering the next time I come over. Thank you for the great food. Keep it up guys! PS: Although the seating is quite limited, the experience and ambience is quite appealing. This place also served a brand of drinks for kambhcha, which can be an outworld for some, but definitely an ad on for the special menu.

A famous Madras bakery, now opened in the ooru. They have a wide range of items on the menu. The Margherita pizza was to juicy and soft! The egg salad sandwich was spot on with the filling and crunch. The cream cheese bagel was very hard maybe from the heating it. And the chocolate cake tasted good. But the cake was crumbly, could have been more moist. Lot more items to be tried. Will go back again. Parking space is less. Seating inside is pretty good. They also have a retail menu for jams and sauces and breads.

The cafe has a welcoming, modernised look, and a see-through bakery is a nice touch. You can watch everything being made fresh. While the custard danish was a miss for me, the Pistachios/Almond biscotti and Chocolate caramel Babka, are must-tries. Both flavourful and well-executed. A great spot to unwind with hot coffee, variety bakes and good company.

Lovely place for a quick coffee or a small snack break. Their sourdough bread is amazing and so was the filter coffee. Other products such as jams, sauces etc are sold along with their own confectionery snacks as well. Finally we have a quaint space that doesn’t sell ridiculously exorbitant priced beverages to consumers.

A reasonable place with such good taste in New bel road. Banana cake and carrot cake was really good and a must try. Apple pie was yummy. They are just perfect with their bakes, its a must try place with quite a good seating arrangement. Will be back surely for other good looking goodies. Many jams, dips and drinks are available for reasonable price. Staffs are very soft spoken and kind. Parking available but very limited.

While driving on the road spotted this place. Stopped for bagels with cream. Bagels were slightly hard and over toasted but were tasty due to excess cream. Filter coffee and Bagel for a great combination and I loved it.

Was intrigued by the outlet name and walked in and found a Singh instead of a Madrasi..😀😀😀 Jokes apart, quite a decent store. Tried apple pie and found it to be fresh and tasty. Freshly made items with no preservatives they claim. Have bacons as well. Couldn't try any other items, will visit again sometime.

We ordered blueberry cheese cake for my daughter’s birthday.and it was the best cheesecake we have ever had!!! The cake was delivered on time. The whole experience with five-star. Team OMBC… you rock!!!

This is a nice place located right opposite to hammered in new bel road. We tried the blueberry cupcake, Nutella brioche , garlic bread and hot chocolate The blueberry cupcake was really good even the garlic bread was fresh and I liked it. The Nutella brioche tasted okay, the hot chocolate also wasn't too good I personally would not buy them again. The vibe of this place is chill. The prices are reasonable too. Overall I would recommend this place if you want to eat some goood desserts.
