Positives:
1. Location
2. Shower water pressure
Negatives:
1. In the room there were 2 free power outlets, one behind the TV and one in the bathroom. Not sure where the hotel expects guests to charge their phones?
2. Gym closes too early, especially on weekends.
3. Pillows were very uncomfortable.
4. The phone in the room was disconnected, so we could not even contact reception if we needed anything.
5. Hotel has basement parking yet my car was valet parked outside overnight. The interior was so hot is was literally falling apart on the last day.
6. Insects were found in the room, on the curtains.
7. Bartone protien bars in the room had expiration stickers removed from them.
8. On arrival, I was on the opposite side of the 2 way street from the hotel entrance. I honked at valet, the guy looks at me and starts waving his hands signaling valet was full. I wanted to tell him I was checking in, but he just ignored me and walked away. At this point I was holding up the street and causing a traffic jam. I tried to park to the side and waited for him to come back, but he was nowhere to be found. The passenger with me had to get out of the car and look for him. Once she found him she told him we were checking in, he said I am telling you I cannot take the car from the other side you need to u turn and park it here infront of the entrance. He was saying this in a very unprofessional manner and yelling, and so the passenger asked him what his name was he said my name is Azhar go and file a complaint I don't care. I then u-turned and caused a bigger traffic jam on the 2 way street to bring the car to the entrance side. While I was doing that, Azhar and other valet employees were dropping of and collecting cars from the opposite side of the street, the side that I was originally on. I was still parked on the street although there were 2 available parking slots infront that have been blocked by valet traffic cones. I rolled down the window and told Azhar can I park here because I have bags, he once again with an extremely inpolite tone and yelling said no you cannot park, get out and I will park the car here (same spot I wanted to park in), take out your bags and then move the car. So I told him to move the cone so I can park since I was already in the car, which he did begrudgingly. Once I got out, his tone was different. He said I told your passenger I cannot collect the car from the other side but she was not listening. I told him no, you signaled to me that valet is full and walked away. He said no I was trying to tell you but you didn't roll down the window. I said you walked away and I was honking trying to tell you I am checking in and have bags. This incident was reported to the front desk at check in, and first comment we got back was that he does not work for the hotel and works for the valet company. Not sure how thats the guest's problem? Again the incident was retold to the manager who once again informed us right away that he is not a hotel employee, meaning he cannot do anything about him. Which is exactly what happened. Azhar was on duty through out our 5 day stay, laughing, smiling, greeting us with "hello sister" "good morning sister" as if nothing happened. Very disappointing experience and the hotel staff and management did not know how to handle the situation.
