Orange

Very disappointing service and poor coverage. I purchased an Orange SIM at Amman Airport for around $30, which was supposed to be valid for one month with 90GB of data. After using only about 15GB, the internet speed dropped dramatically to the point of being almost unusable. There’s also almost no reception indoors. I wasn’t informed that the speed would slow down this much. I wouldn’t recommend Orange based on my experience. You may want to consider another carrier, such as Zain, instead.

En ce jour, je suis tombé sur deux vendeurs extrêmement sympathiques, dont j’ai malheureusement oublié le prénom. Ils m’ont très bien expliqué les différents forfaits et m’ont conseillé celui qui convenait parfaitement à mon voyage. Les prix sont très raisonnables pour deux semaines, et ils ont même installé la carte SIM et configuré tous les réglages sur mon téléphone, ce qui a été un vrai plus vu que je ne parle pas arabe. Même si le guide était très simple, ça m’a vraiment facilité la tâche. Je recommande donc totalement les services d’Orange en Jordanie, et en plus, le comptoir est ouvert 24h sur 24, juste après le duty free, avant de sortir, au niveau des loueurs de voiture.

Fantastisk service av Orange da vi ankom Jordan. Vi ble først tatt i mot ZAIN som hadde utrolig dyre priser, men Orange var mye bedre i forhold til vårt opphold som varte i en uke. Den ansatte som tok oss i mot forklarte oss tilbudene og anbefalte til og med den billigste, da den passert best med vår tur. I tillegg til dette anbefalte han oss ulike steder vi burde dra på turen og i hvilke byer det var lurt å ha cash på seg

Nous avons pris 2 carte sim de 20 Go la semaine dernière et finalement il y en avait une avec seulement 5 Go. Nous ne comprenons pas comme cela peut être possible !

Very helpful guys. I took a sim package for 10 JOD, which included 15GB data, 10min international calls and 60 mins local call. Perfect for my 1 week stay. The Orange coverage is very good: Aqaba, Amman, all over Petra, Dead sea etc. (only time I didn’t have signal was in some remote parts of the Wadi Rum dessert, which is kind of expected, but thankfully had Camp WiFi). Also the guy who served me at the Orange desk gave the directions to the banks inside the airport which had very fair exchange rates. Thank you 🙏🏽

They charge you the same prices as at an Orange store in the city - that doesn’t happen ar many airports! Service is quick, sim card wirks after 2 minutes.

Schneller Service, unkompliziert und jordanische Sim Karte (+Internet) funktionierte sofort. Allerdings wurde meine eigene Sim-Karte zur Aufbewahrung mit einem Klebestreifen in einer Verpackung fixiert. Der Klebestreifen hat meine Sim verklebt, sodass sie anfangs nicht mehr funktioniert hat. Am besten darauf achten, dass nicht die Kontaktseite beklebt wird.

I wrote to these three weeks ago..I also sent them a message via WhatsApp. I STILL haven't had a reply from them. Ridiculous 'service'.

They try to make you buy longer services than you need. When asked about shorter plans, they pretend they don’t have it.
