Hotel Padmini Palace

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Padmini. The rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained, with comfortable beds and a calm atmosphere. Room service was prompt and very cooperative—staff responded quickly to all our requests and were polite throughout our stay. The food was excellent, fresh, and tasty, with good variety and quality. Every meal was well prepared and served on time, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Hotel Padmini offers great rooms, delicious food, and reliable room service. Highly recommended for a comfortable and satisfying stay.

Nice staff, nice room service, everything in nearby from this hotel. I loved my stay here. I booked 2 room here one was small and another super deluxe. The amount I paid for 3 days and 2 room was between 5500-5700. According to price my stay was too good.

Not at all a good experience. In fact, just across the road, another hotels offer much better accommodation and service. This worst experience is the rooms. Very much cramped and smelly with dingy bathrooms. The hotel administration waits to see if you accept the substandard rooms, however, you have to really push to get new or fresh linen. There is nothing complimentary in the rooms, for eg. bathroom kit or waterbottle. The restaurant may boast it in the ad however, food is not that wow. They get customers because of good tie up with travel tour operators who are given good comission from the hotel, thats why they promote it. Without tour operators, this hotel won't survive on its own. They would demand payment first, service later. Then you are held hostage. My advice is to get rooms in Udaipur individually rather than through tour operators. Please reject Padmini Palace as soon as they suggest it as they don't deserve it. Rooms are not even worth ₹2000, even in peak season. Attaching a video for all of you to watch. My deluxe room provided by Hotel in January 2025.

Please do not eat at this restaurant. We (4 of us) had Manchuria and Rajasthani Thali, taste was good but after effects are not. Within 5-6 hours of eating at this place all of us had to throw up, vomitings and diarrhea please please please please do not enter this restaurant, we had to waste and sleep for the next 1 full day without traveling or sightseeing, all because of eating at this restaurant. All 4 of us fell sick simultaneously. I will have -10 stars if I have a chance.

The service, the food and the location are amazing. We felt very relaxed here. After a journey, when you find a peaceful place where you can rest, your journey ends. As you know, sometimes when you have to go for a trip, a lot of time gets exhausted.You can find relief from your fatigue here.

It was really excellent service, Staffs were so kind and helpful. Manager was very jolly person.You feel like staying at ur home. Best thing it's very budget friendly and rooms were very neat and clean. I'll always recommend to go for this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect, making it easy to travel around and explore nearby places. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and overall the service exceeded our expectations.

Rooms are too small compared to the price they charge. They do not even provide water bottle in the room cost in fact they are charging 30rs per 1L bottle. The only plus point of this hotel is the location. It is at walkable distance from city palace.

This hotel is very nice to stay. We had great stay here. A very good place to stay in Udaipur. Food quality is very nice and tasty. Helpful staff, neat & hygiene rooms. Our sir Lakshman sir very helpful and good in nature. Do come & visit this hotel and enjoy your stay.

Came to the restaurant by our driver's suggestion. The food was bland and very expensive. It was disappointing in taste and quantity. They have exorbitant prices for even a small accompaniment. All in all an abysmal experience

Extremely disappointing stay. The rooms were cramped, bedsheets were visibly soiled, and cockroaches were roaming around. The lifts were unhygienic, and essential amenities like geysers were not working. Overall, the property falls far below basic cleanliness and comfort standards.

Rooms are cramped, dingy and smelly. Not been aired even in peak season. Can cause health issues. If your tour operator recommends Padmini palace he is doing it because he ia getting a fat commission from Padmini Palace. Across the road, hotels are providing much better rooms at same price. Strongly not recommended. Restaurant is also very ordinary. Oily food, kitchen is very unhygenic. Be careful while accepting the food even if being provided as complimentary.

Very bad experience., there are too many stray dogs at the hotel damaged my car , and the management didn’t take proper responsibility. There was no security or care for guest vehicles. Not satisfied with the service at all . Very worst professionalism . Would not recommend staying here.

We had booked 6 rooms. The food was good, but the hotel is old and not hygine. I didn’t like the manager’s behavior is very rud whenever we asked something, he would start by talking about the price. He seemed focused only on making money. He even charged ₹500 for our driver’s breakfast, which usually no one does.

We only had lunch at the restaurant. Food was ordinary and was pricey for the quality. Ambience is reasonable and service was good.

The hotel was shortlisted by a tour operator, claiming to be 3 Star Hotel.Never knew they meant 3rd Class Hotel. The Rooms were so cramped and suffocating with stink,uncleaned toilet,hair all around the room and toilet and dirty linen. The Hotel doesnt have adequate parking space. The Dining space and kitchen gives a feel of a road side Dhaba.The lift thats provided takes you back to the British era and thus the Historical trips begins. An absolute NO from any angle to spend any penny on this property.

Visited this restaurant on our driver’s recommendation. The food was good, but the experience was dampened by the staff. Some of the waiters came across as rude and kept muttering comments when we didn’t order what they seemed to expect. Good food alone couldn’t make up for the unpleasant attitude.
