Want to share my experience I had with the store on 7 Aug, 2025. I purchased a titan raga watch on 4 Aug. I went to the store to get it sized on the 7th , since it was not done on the day of the purchase. They directed me to get it done from the world of titan, since they did not have the staff who does it. On going to world of titan, I found that the lock of the watch was broken.
I came back to the store to get it fixed. The store staff behaved as the store belonged to the staffs and not the pantaloons. Each passing by staff wanted to know what happened. One of the staff called the staff (who originally sold me the watch and was not available to resize the watch on the 7th) to make sure it was broken/not broken when sold. The store manager was involved and he called his manager and was still on call with his manager, he came and told me that it was my fault that the watch is broken with no consideration that the watch was still under the warranty and even if, it was not broken when sold, it should not have broke in 4 days.
They told me that I should have come 2 hours ago, since it is a busy time when I went there and "they have to serve other customers". By this time, I was frustrated with their responses and asked about the store policy for situation like mine. They said that I can do an exchange only. I did not want to exchange with a different design as I liked the one which I purchased and it was on 20% discount.
They tried to call another store at some Raza bazaar with no response from them. By this time, 45 minutes was passed and I chose to exchange it with a different one. I picked a watch and brought it to the store manager. I was told that the new watch was full priced, which was slightly lesser than the discounted price of the original watch. I got a discount of around Rs 2K on original watch. The store manager has no consideration that I am losing 2k on the watch. He kept asking me to get something of Rs 200 to do an even exchange. I picked up a pair of rubber band, and then he asked me to pay Rs 56. I denied to get anything else and just wanted to get my watch exchanged. I ended up losing Rs 150 as I lost my patience.
I aldo asked the number and email of the store owner (who was not present there) which none of the staff provided.
In a nutshell, I had a very bad experience with majority of the staff who had very poor etiquette and appeared only to get money from the customers with a lacking customer service. They did not have any knowledge on store policies and the modus operandi. I will encourage pantaloons to keep staffs who are respectful and skilled!!
