So beautiful! Incredible piece of history and it totally matches with Athens blue sky, what a combination… I strongly recommend a guided visit because it is possible to connect humanity history with this site and get a lot of knowledge, but anyway if you visit without a guide, you will find a lot of beauty and compatibility in terms of colors.

Es una pena ver así, no sé si es por que es temporada baja en Marzo y luego retiran los andamios, pero ver todo con grúas y aparatos de obras quita mucho encanto a los monumentos, mucho mármol y piedras por el suelo, con zonas delimitadas que no te puedes acercar y ni hacer fotos limpias sin tanto andamiaje Son unos monumentos fantásticos pero muy dañados y esparcidos por el suelo. Me esperaba algo mejor conservado

Sehr beeindruckend, auch wenn nur mehr Reste stehen! Aber es wird laufend daran gearbeitet, die zu erhalten bzw. zerstörte Teile zu ersetzen und die Tempelanlagen wiederherzustellen. Und die Aussicht ist grandios! Definitiv einen Besuch wert. Und 30 Euro Eintritt ist nicht viel, finde ich, zumal das Geld ja wirklich dort investiert wird!

ネットで事前にチケットを購入し、8時の開園と同時に入りました。1月でしたので日の出(7時40分頃)がパルテノン神殿を照らし、その光がアテネ市街を明るく照らし出す光景が神々しく素敵でした。

Consigliato, ovviamente...anche se per noi italiani forse non così entusiasmante. Costo di 30€, meglio utilizzare le uniche due casse automatiche, anche se la fila non era molto numerosa. Meglio riuscire ad entrare entro le 10 per evitare confusione.

If you are in Athens and you don’t plan to visit any sightseeings, this is the place to visit without any doubt. Recommended!! There will be a queue for the tickets but it’s not a big wait. Max of 10mins.

Visitare l’Acropoli di Atene è un’esperienza che rimane impressa per sempre. Non si tratta solo di un sito archeologico, ma di un vero e proprio viaggio nella storia e nella cultura greca. • Atmosfera unica: salire sulla collina e vedere il Partenone illuminato dal sole è emozionante. La vista panoramica su Atene lascia senza fiato, soprattutto al tramonto. • Valore storico: ogni pietra racconta oltre duemila anni di civiltà. Dal Partenone all’Eretteo, fino ai Propilei, ogni monumento è un capolavoro architettonico. • Organizzazione: il sito è ben segnalato e curato. Consiglio di acquistare i biglietti online per evitare code e di portare acqua, soprattutto nelle giornate calde. • Accessibilità: ci sono percorsi dedicati anche per chi ha difficoltà motorie, un dettaglio che rende la visita inclusiva. • Consiglio personale: andare la mattina presto o nel tardo pomeriggio per godere di un’atmosfera più tranquilla e scattare foto spettacolari. Perché vale la pena L’Acropoli non è solo un simbolo della Grecia, ma dell’intera civiltà occidentale. È un luogo che unisce bellezza, storia e spiritualità. Ogni visita regala emozioni diverse, e merita assolutamente le 5 stelle.

Die Akropolis und besonders der Partenon sind einfach atemberaubend schön. Von verschiedensten Punkten in der Stadt hat man einen wunderschönen Blick und auch oben ist es beeindruckend. Der Eintritt lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, auch wenn mit 30€ sehr teuer. Immer wieder ist sonntags der Eintritt aber kostenfrei.

At the end of the day, it’s the crowds that make or break a visit to the Parthenon. I walked in around noon one day in early March, during the off-season, and there was no queue/rush except for some groups of students. Some fascinating stories made certain spots especially memorable: Athena’s sacred olive tree, traditionally associated with the nearby Erechtheion, symbolizing her gift to the city; and the bronze statue of Athena Promachos that once stood proudly on the Acropolis before being carried off to Constantinople after the Fourth Crusade. Even as someone who isn’t a devoted history buff, I found myself lingering around for nearly an hour. Very grateful to experience it all at my own unhurried pace.

If you were going to Athens, then you definitely need to pay the money to come and visit this landmark. I do think that the value for your money is a little bit low, but that being said is still totally worth the picture. You do get to see a few other monuments and ruins other than the Parthenon with this ticket. It was an enjoyable experience.

Perched on top of the Acropolis, stands the remains of the mighty Parthenon. A testament to the once mighty ancient greek civilization. Its one of those places where you breath the history. Although the Parthenon is badly damaged the restoration that has taken place is excellent and expertly done. The views from up there are also majestic of Athens and the surrounding mountains. It really is a special place to be to immerse yourself in history. The staff are strict on your time slots and we went at the weekend when it was busier but they funnelled everyone in swiftly. I think with the Parthenon and other temples and sites on the Acropolis 2-3 hours will easily suffice. Take a bottle of water and wear appropriate trainers as the marble and rocks can be slippery. The walk up is also short but quite a few steps and uphill.
