Zentrum Paul Klee

Un pò deluso onestamente. Zona esteriore molto bella, sopratutto in una giornata soleggiata. Al momento dell’arrivo mi viene fatto presente che data la fine di una mostra avvenuta il week end precedente, fosse rimasta aperta solo una sala. Il prezzo era ridotto 15chf rispetto ai 20chf. Ho deciso di entrare, ma c’erano davvero pochi lavori esposti; finito in 30 minuti. Non mi ha particolarmente colpito.

Our first time to visit the Paul Klee center after many years of living in Switzerland. The building’s architecture certainly stands out as you approach, especially being covered in a winter blanket of snow. The Paul Klee exhibition changes as they can only show a small number of his works at a time from the collection of over 4000 pieces. It was a little underwhelming as we were expecting to see more. It was interesting to see the progression of his works from the age of 5 until his death. They also have special exhibitions on and when we visited in January 2026 there was an Anni Albers display of her textile works. This was exceptionally good. We stopped at the cafe for a cheese quiche and cappuccinos. The coffee was tasting very good although the making of it could have been better. The cinnamon roll was not good as it was tough, probably because it was vegan. All up the 20CHF entry ticket was worth the money as we spent more than 2 hours there.

Um museu que para ser descrito, torna necessário incluir-se o caminho para se chegar lá, o exterior, assim como o interior. Para o visitante, especialmente estrangeiro, é praticamente uma saída do centro da cidade, o que já é incomum. O entorno conta com uma belíssima amostra de natureza, com árvores e lago. O prédio é do arquiteto Renzo Piano, mas isso poderia não significar muito se não fosse sua qualidade e originalidade. As obras em exposição de Paul Klee, um artista que admiro, não são muitas, apesar de o site informar que ali está o maior acervo do mundo. Isso pode ser um pouco decepcionante comparando-se com outros museus, mas há uma razão: a fragilidade das obras carece de rotatividade na exibição. Há outros bons artistas em exposição.

Wirklich wunderschönes Gebäude, das sich perfekt an die Landschaft schmiegt. Wir besuchten die sorgfältig kuratierte Ausstellung über Anni Albers. Sehr empfehlenswert für Bauhaus-Fans und Architekturfreund:innen. Auch der Kaffee und die Zimtschnecke waren lecker. Wir waren tatsächlich zum ersten Mal hier - sicher nicht zum letzten Mal.

Lovely place! Tho thinking about it's Paul Klee.. It has so much potential to be improved. It's so less to see... But the space itself and the staffs were very lovely.. One staff kept asking if I am Japanese and I am not ;-; so probably not assuming someone's nation by their appearance is better.. But whatever! She was kind so It didn't rly was offensive to me- I would go again If I visit Bern again ^.^

Very little of Paul Klee's artwork is on show. The other exhibitions are junk. The architecture is unremarkable, like an airport. Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern is a museum dedicated to the Swiss artist Paul Klee, housing around 4,000 of his works along with rotating exhibitions. Designed by Renzo Piano and completed in 2005, the building features three undulating steel-and-glass “hills” emerging from a landscaped site.

In Bern immer einen Bsuch Wert. Freundliches Personal und sehr gepflegtes Ambiente. Die Austellungen sind wundervoll und informativ gestaltet. Wir kommen gerne wieder, vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis!

Brilliant, but a somewhat smaller collection once inside than the exterior size of the gallery indicates. Great demonstration of the breadth of Klee’s work. Look for the special bus route to get there.

좋은 미술관 입니다. 베른에서 가보면 좋다. 카페도 잘 되어 있고 건물도 무척 상징적

I'm a fan of Klee's work and in so far as I have a 'bucket list' this was on it. I wasn't disappointed. The gallery shows a rotating selection of Klee's work, so what I saw won't necessarily be what you see, but I found the walk through his life, the description of his thoughts on what painting is, the use of colour and form, highly informative. In addition there are guest exhibitions. The Zentrum itself is a wonderful building, modern and light, with a good café.

Uns hat besonders das Gebäude von Renzo Piano gefallen. Die Sammlung von Paul Klee ist viel kleiner als erwartet (nur im UG). Ein Viertel der Ausstellungsfläche war zudem noch mit Fotos einer (uns unbekannten) Künstlerin belegt.

Fascinating look into the variety of styles developed by Klee. Only a small portion of the museum‘s collection is displayed at one time, so changes are frequent.

mit öv gut erreichbar. sehenswertes gebäude und aussen wege. sehr abwechslungsreiche ausstellung. gut gegliedert. werden wieder kommen.

Lieu incontournable si on visite Berne. En ce moment l'exposition Rose Wylie: absolument exceptionnel ! Des œuvres qui vous feront sourire et rire, tant Les sujets sont traités de manière surprenante et fraîche. La halle d'exposition est simplement parfaite.

Very pretty area and building design by R.Piano is really magnificent. The exhibitions were quite interesting, however I wish the had more of Klee's work.

We visited the Paul Klee Museum on the recommendation of a friend. Although I enjoyed the experience overall, and the architecture of the museum is truly stunning, I was a bit disappointed by how few of Klee’s actual works were on display during our visit. The layout and building itself are worth seeing, but I didn’t feel it was great value for money at 15 francs per ticket. If you’re a big fan of modern architecture or Klee’s work, it may still be worth a visit—just check what’s currently on exhibition first.

スイス旅行の１番の目的で、感激しました。 コレクション展は「Kosmos Klee.」と題して、小さい頃のクレーから、年代順に作品を追っていく、コンパクトで見やすい展示。 企画展はル・コルビュジエ展で、これも良かった。 建物の設計はレンゾ・ピアノ。 地面に埋まりつつ、丘が3つ連なったような建物。

Il Zentrum Paul Klee di Berna è più di un museo dedicato all’artista svizzero da cui prende il nome: oltre che luogo espositivo è infatti un centro multidisciplinare che offre una vasta gamma di attività culturali: mostre temporanee, concerti, seminari, e workshop creativi sia per adulti che per bambini. L’architettura del museo è un esempio eccezionale di integrazione tra arte, architettura e natura. L’edificio museale è formato da una sequenza di elementi strutturali curvilinei disposti parallelamente: l’insieme di questi elementi costituisce la copertura del museo sulla quale è riportato il terreno coltivabile. Anteriormente, le strisce generatrici della copertura formano il prospetto nel quale è ricavato l’ingresso al museo. Gli spazi collocati nella parte anteriore dell’edificio comprendono le funzioni più pubbliche: le aree dedicate alla creatività (spazio Creaviva), la libreria, il negozio e la caffetteria, mentre la parte posteriore della costruzione ospita le sale espositive e le funzioni di servizio. Il museo ospita una collezione permanente di opere di Klee, esposte a rotazione in mostre temporanee in cui vengono spesso affiancate a lavori di altri artisti. Imperdibile, dopo la visita del museo, la passeggiata lungo i sentieri che circondano l’edificio per comprendere perché questo museo venga considerato un “monumento immerso nel paesaggio”. Magnifico questo edificio di Renzo Piano inondato di luce ed immerso nella Natura . Cultura, bellezza, architettura, ecosostenibilità, socialità . Ma che meraviglia!

Un musée exceptionnel signé Renzo Piano avec une grande collection de l'œuvre de Paul Klee. L'architecture tout en courbe se fondant dans le paysage est très réussi.
