A delightful place serving Mangalorean and coastal food. Sea food is highly recommended, multiple options to choose from. Helpful staff, even suggested the portion sizes adequate for the table. Maintains a mix of southern ambience blended with a cafe casual feel. Prompt service, food quality and taste are top notch. Have been here before and the place does have the charm to call you back craving for delicious preps. Its popular and does get busy at lunch hours, generally the waiting time isnt too long. Must visit.

The Ultimate Destination for Authentic Mangalorean Cuisine. ! If you are looking for real, authentic Konkani-style Mangalorean food, this place is an absolute gem. What I love most is that they completely preserve the heritage of the cuisine there is absolutely no modification to the traditional flavors just to suit commercial tastes. It is as genuine as it gets. The highlights of the meal are definitely the Chicken Ghee Roast and the Prawns, which are absolute must-tries with their incredibly soft, light Neer Dosa. Beyond food, what truly makes this place the best is the overall dining experience. The ambience is wonderful and sets a great mood, while the warm, polite staff makes you feel incredibly welcome.

Found this gem near Halsoor and honestly, it’s such a breath of fresh air. It’s got that proper old-school vibes - murals, green plants everywhere, and a quite cozy vibe. The best part about this restaurant is they maintain simple paper menu. No scanning QR codes or scrolling through your phone just to order a meal. Food: If you’re after that authentic Mangalurean hit, this is the spot. We were 4 of us and ordered the following: The Classics: The Chicken Ghee Roast and Chicken Kori Rotti were packed with flavor. The Seafood: We had the Bangada Curry and Tawa Fry, plus Fish Finger Fry and Prawn Fry. Everything felt super fresh. The Sides: Perfect Neer Dose to soak up the gravies. Drinks & Dessert: Rounded it off with Solkadi, cocoom um juice, and Butter Milk, plus a Bread Pudding to finish. The service is surprisingly quick. We walked right in on a weekday, though I’m not sure how the weekend crowd gets. One heads-up: Parking for 4 wheeler is tough as there’s no dedicated space. Value: Total bill was around ₹2,700 for the four of us. For a massive afternoon lunch like that, it’s a steal. Definitely coming back!

The restaurant is simple with basic tables( not fancy) and without AC air conditioning but choice and tastes of dishes are superb. On Sunday afternoon you have to wait atleast one hour and stand in line. With reasonable rates and simple paper menu card ( not flashy) and very less description I feel the dish speaks for itself. Ordered boneless fish with raw mango curry with combination of neer dosa is superb must try. Overall go for the authenticity and not the atmosphere of a fancy restaurant. The restaurant walls are decorated with rural images like Malgudi pictures

We ordered the prawn ghee roast, neer dosa, seer fish curry, fish fillet and kokum drink. Prawn ghee roast and neer dosa was a delicious combo. The seer fish curry was also tasty. The fried fish fillet tasted a bit too oily however so wouldn't recommend. The interior had a calm amplified by the slow fans hanging from the wooden ceilings and nice to sip your cool drink in.

Had an amazing experience at Mangaluru Pearl! The food was extremely tasty, especially the seafood – everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Solkadi was very refreshing and Neer Dosa with the curries was a great combination. What impressed us the most was the service – after ordering, all the items were served within 10 minutes and they brought everything together, which was very convenient. The staff were polite and the service was quick. The ambience is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Prices are also very affordable for the quality and quantity they provide, so it’s definitely value for money. Overall, a must-visit place for Mangalorean food lovers in Bangalore. Will surely visit again! ❤️

Neer Dosa & Sanna – Soft, fresh, and done right. A comforting start to the meal. Egg Ghee Roast – Rich, flavourful, and well-balanced. Definitely enjoyable. Kori Roti – Okayish; decent but didn’t stand out compared to expectations. Marwai Sukka – Good flavours, but could’ve been better with more sukka stuffing. King Fish Rava Fry – Absolutely wow! Perfectly crisp outside and juicy inside. Bangda Tawa Fry – Delicious and well-marinated; a solid coastal classic. Cauliflower dry– Nice, mildly spiced, and crunchy. Raw Banana (Plantain) Fry – Crispy and good, paired well with the meal. Squid Rawa Fry – Decent, nothing extraordinary but cooked well. Beverages - Solkadi and Kokum The ambience is decent with a pleasant old-school vibe. Pretty good overall, with a few antique pieces and stored old-school items that add character and nostalgia to the place. It gives a simple, traditional coastal feel rather than anything too fancy.

By far, the best seafood restaurant in my city. Mangalore pearl is typically a coastal Karnataka cuisine. Weekends usually has a waiting time. Located on the second floor, it's perfect for a family as well as friends. Here as the dishes you should try out - Starters - 1. Brinjal fry 2. Silver tawa fish 3. Chicken lollipop Main course - Go for the neer dosa, each plate has 2 of them. It goes best with chicken ghee roast, which is out of the world! Then you can go for rice and the mango boneless fish curry. A little sour, but worth it. In desserts, do not miss the Ragi mani. It's made of jaggery and a healthy dessert! Also, it's light on your stomach. Talking about the ambience, the restaurant has nice cartoon drawing for you to dwell, bringing in Mangalore streets and markets to life. The service is a bit slow on weekends with a heavy crowd, but worth the wait. To complement and digest that delicious food, you should try the Solkadi. A soothing and refreshing drink. Do not miss!

Tried Mangalore cuisine for the first time and absolutely loved it. The food was amazing, really tasty and full of flavor. The place had a nice old age ambience, which added to the experience. Prices were decent too. A great introduction to Mangalore food and definitely something I’d try again.

Excellent food experience with authentic Mangalore coastal cuisine. Comfy seating with excellent customer service. The service was pretty quick and swift. Great array of dishes to choose from. The fish was fresh and well cooked and prepared. The buttermilk added to the whole experience. A little away from the main Bangalore city, but the commute was worth it.

Mangalore Pearl is an absolute gem for coastal cuisine lovers and a place you simply shouldn’t miss when you’re in Bangalore. Their prawn ghee roast paired with neer dosa is pure perfection rich, flavorful, and authentically Mangalorean in every bite. The pomfret tawa fry is another standout, cooked to perfection with a beautiful balance of spices and freshness that truly elevates the experience. If you’re craving authentic seafood with bold flavors, this place delivers on every level. Definitely a must-visit spot that leaves you wanting to come back for more!

The food was so aromatic that as soon as it hit the table, we couldn't wait to dive in—we actually forgot to take any photos! Every dish was delicious and offered great value for money. We highly recommend the: Neer Dosa & Prawn Ghee Roast (a must-try combination!) Squid Fry & Pomfret Rava Fry Boneless Fish Raw Mango Curry Fish Tawa Fry Cocoom Juice & Solkadi If you want a genuine, mouth-watering Mangalorean meal, this is the place to be!

The prawn ghee roast + Neer dosa is a must try combination. I loved the solkadi. The kori roti could have been more spicy in my opinion. But overall a very good dining experience and excellent service. Also go early if you don't want to wait.

If you love seafood then this is the place to go. Mangalore style sardine curry, king fish tawa fry, anchovy batter fried, neer dosa that is softer than tissue, and Mangalore special pathrode and a bowl of moong dal payasam to top it all. Overall a great experience, no wonder it is quite popular.

Visited Mangalore Pearl yesterday after what feels like ages, and I'm reminded why this place holds such a special place in my heart. There's something magical about the old Bangalore charm that this restaurant captures so beautifully - it's absolutely vivacious and authentic. The food was nothing short of spectacular! The prawns were cooked to absolute perfection - tender, flavorful, and expertly seasoned. The fish preparations were equally outstanding, showcasing the chef's mastery of coastal cuisine. This is hands down the best seafood restaurant in Bangalore. The quality, taste, and that nostalgic charm make it an experience worth coming back for again and again. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for an authentic coastal dining experience, Mangalore Pearl is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates exceptional seafood and wants to experience the true essence of Bangalore's culinary heritage.

An authentic Coastal Kanara Speciality Seafood Restaurant, situated on the second floor of Skywalk, Halasuru in Namma Bengaluru. This Restaurant serves an amazing array of Coastal delicacies which includes Fishes, Prawns, Squids, Clams and Crabs. Plenty of Starters to choose from and so many choices in main courses too. We ordered plenty of items which included Chicken Ghee Roast (Rs.230), Prawn Ghee Roast (Rs. 340), Chicken Lollipop ( 7 pieces for just Rs. 180), Kaaney Rava Fry ( 3 full fishes for Rs. 320), Chicken Mootlies ( One full bowl for Rs.260), Neer dosas ( amazing hot neer dosas, two for Rs. 30), Red Rice, White Rice, Mangalorean Raw Mango Boneless fish Curry (Rs.295), Vegetarian Potraday curry, Kokum juice, Lemon Soda, Solkadi and Caramel Custard. The taste was subtle but the neer dosas with prawn ghee roast is a not to be missed item here. The prawns were big and juicy. Though the crowd was huge, the service was very efficient. There were plenty of seats outside for the waiting customers and once you enter the dining area, the aroma of seafood used to engulf you. The ambience was a little bit cramped and the chillness was low because of the huge Sunday Crowd. If you are a Sea food lover and like to taste Mangalorean delicacies, don't miss this place. Again we visited for lunch on a weekday, as usual great food, excellent service and a purse friendly menu. This time, we tried Brinjal Fry ( The best one), Sannas, Ragi Manni, Mangalore Prawn Curry in addition with the other not to be missed items like Neer dosas, Chicken Ghee Roast and Chicken lollipop, Just around 2k for an authentic Mangaluru Cuisine for four members. This is a real gem indeed.

This place is a classic. Great food and great ambience… with caricatures that you can ask your kids to create stories for while waiting for food. If you love prawn ghee roast… THIS IS YOUR PLACE! With neer dosa is a crazy combo. If my 9yr old who has aversion for spice can eat it all without sharing, it means a lot (as he is a giver :)) We loved everything we had. Fish curry rice, fish fry, squid fry etc… and they are generous with serving. Served to please absolutely.

Food was delicious. Felt like I was in Mangaluru itself. They had vegetarian options too. We ordered rava fish fry, chicken fry, neer dosa, mushroom gravy, cauliflower fry, saanas. Every dish was like home made type. Will definitely suggest my people to check out this place.

A pretty underrated place for sea food in Bangalore. Tried 4 things there 1. Chicken Ghee roast - Really tasty and just the right amount of ghee. Must try 2. Chicken sukka - Was very bland. Wouldn't want to try again 3. Neer Dosa - Pretty good 4. Black pomfret tawa fry - Was decent, not amazing. Can try other things 5. Solkadi - it was good. Definitely recommended
