Our stay at The Peninsula Istanbul was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the hotel exceeded every expectation with its stunning property, impeccable service, and incredible attention to detail. A very special thank you to Bedum, who truly made our trip unforgettable. After a disappointing experience at our previous hotel, she went above and beyond to arrange an amazing room for us. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care completely turned our vacation around. Thanks to her, the rest of our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. The Peninsula is a world-class hotel, but it's people like Bedum who make it truly special. We can't thank her enough for making our trip so much better. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

recently stayed at The Peninsula Istanbul and had mixed feelings about the experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The overall room quality was excellent, and housekeeping maintained it well throughout my stay. However, my room overlooked a building despite my reservation being for a city-view room. When I requested a change, I was offered another room, but the difference was minimal and did not significantly improve the view. The location of the hotel is outstanding and one of its strongest points. The spa was also excellent and among the highlights of my stay. On the other hand, I found the overall service to be fairly average for a luxury hotel. The breakfast quality was good, but service in the restaurant was often slow, and there were occasions when requests were forgotten. My main concern is value for money. While the hotel is undoubtedly luxurious, I did not find anything particularly unique that justified its premium pricing compared to other high-end five-star hotels. Most of the amenities and services offered can be found at many luxury properties. Overall, it is a good hotel with an excellent location and a very nice spa, but in my opinion it is somewhat overrated and does not fully justify its price point.

We had a wonderful experience at the outdoor seating area of The Peninsula Istanbul. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful—elegant, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying a lovely meal. The food was exceptional, with great quality and delicious flavors in every dish. A special thank you to our waiter, Ata, who was truly outstanding. He was professional, friendly, always smiling, and very attentive. His service made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you for making our experience so memorable. We will definitely come back again!

Daha önce de severek geldiğim bu mekânda bu kez ablamın doğum gününü kutladık. Talihsiz bir şekilde pastamız bozuldu ancak işletmenin yaklaşımı gerçekten çok tatlıydı. Ablama tatlı ikram etmeleri ve pasta servis ücreti almamaları bizi çok mutlu etti. Özellikle Efe Bey ve Enes Bey’in ilgisi, güler yüzü ve misafir memnuniyetine verdikleri önem için kendilerine teşekkür ederiz. Tüm ekip oldukça nazik ve ilgiliydi. Böyle işletmeler her zaman tercih sebebi oluyor. Tekrar görüşmek üzere.

В апреле 2026 г. отдыхали в этом отеле. Очень красивые, шикарный, современный, просторный и стильный отель. Зелёная территория, ухоженная зелень, прекрасная летняя терраса в основном ресторане, невероятные виды, удобные дорожки для прогулок вдоль набережной. Часть набережной закрыта только для гостей отеля. Это очень удобно, так можно прогуляться без толпы. А также территория как я уже писала раньше очень ухоженная. Номера: сначала мы заехали в номер улучшенной категории с видом на город. Но вид нас очень разочаровал, окна выходили прямо на развалины и стройку. Обращайте пожалуйста внимание на это при бронировании номера. Возможно придётся написать на почту, просьбу чтобы в подобный номер не заселяли. В этот же день мы обратились к менеджеру с просьбой заменить нам номер. И в течение нескольких часов нас переселили в номер чуть выше категории, без дополнительной оплаты. Окна выходили в ту же сторону, но так как номер располагался чуть дальше, стройку почти не было видно. Сам номер очень просторный, удобный, с шикарной гардеробной и просторной ванной комнатой, эргономичный. В нём было очень комфортно находиться. Удобные подушки, что бывает нечасто. Очень большая кровать. Рестораны: завтраки были не на пятёрку. Рекомендую всё необходимое заказывать меню. В том числе и фруктовую тарелку. Так как в буфете фруктов очень мало. Тарелки быстро опустошаются, а их пополнять не торопятся. Приходилось даже несколько раз напоминать. Это касается всего что есть в буфете. Зелень часто была жухлой. В этом же ресторане пару раз обедали. Не впечатлило. Возможно нам так повезло. Ничего особенного не было. Сервис достаточно приятный. Ужинали в мишленовском ресторане. Вот он очень понравился. Все блюда были очень вкусные, достаточно быстро приготовлены. Сервис на высоком уровне, красивые виды. Спа: в спа ходили каждый вечер. Хоть и процедуры не заказывали, отдыхали у бассейна, посещали хамам. В хамаме очень комфортная температура и прекрасная влажность. Раздевалки чистые, в каждом шкафчике имеется халат, разные полотенца, вода, тапочки. Достаточно большой бассейн. Расположение: очень удобное расположение. Вест Стамбул обошли пешком. Сам город оставил неоднозначные впечатления. Но этот прекрасный отель явно скрасил наш отдых. Очень рекомендую его к посещению.

What impressed us the most was the incredible hospitality. The staff’s kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help with anything made our experience unforgettable. It is rare to find such exceptional customer service these days. Thank you for making our stay so special. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly first-class experience.

Rooms are nice and big, well thought out. Spa is top notch with great amenities. However for a hotel of this status their beds are very springy and painful to sleep on. And their breakfast is extremely underwhelming. I have stayed over 4 times and instead of honoring our loyalty, last time they gave us the worst room in the back of the hotel with active construction, no view and on top of it there was a wedding event with people partying till 4am. So needless to say that we didn’t get any sleep and were very uncomfortable instead of being relaxed

Wir sind heute ganz spontan im Peninsula vorbei gegeangen und haben den Afternoon Tea mit Champagner genossen. Gestartet mit salzigen Komponenten, hinzu zu unfassbar schön dekorierten Desserts. Das Personal - angefangen draussen beim Eingang - war unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns jederzeit sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Ambiente ser Lobby ist sehr schön und die Terrasse, direkt am Meer, wunderbar. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Food and service throughout the hotel are consistently excellent. Every interaction feels kind, attentive, and intuitive, without ever being intrusive. 5 stars all across the board! This hotel is absolutely fantastic and the best hotel we stayed in during our stay in Istanbul. We were celebrating a birthday and they had a beautiful peninsula cake and card signed by staff waiting for us. View from our 4th floor room was gorgeous. The whole property is just breath taking, however, that is not what made it so special. It is the people that work there who were just SO WONDERFUL and really make the hotel. Nothing was too big or too difficult for them to organise. A bonus was having access to the hotel car to drive us to somewhere in the 4km region. I would love to mention individual people but everyone was so great that it would be unfair. Take a bow team - you are clearly doing everything right!! What a magical place this hotel is. We cannot wait to return here in the future!

26 aralıkta Peninsula’ya sıcak çikolata içmek gittik . Ordaki ilgili arkadaş “burası cafe değil” , şuan içecek için boş masamız yok ( saat 4tü ve içerisi baya boştu??) eğer yemek düşünürsenizde rezervasyon ayarlayalım dedi ve bizde gelmişken yemek yiyelim bari dedik… oturduk ilgi alaka çok özensizdi ve meşhur fotoğraf çekinilen merdivenli yılbaşı ağacının olduğu yere görevli dikmişler asla fotoğraf çektirmediler. Otel sakinleri rahatsız oluyormuş vs saçmaladı ( o zaman sıkıysa restorant kısmını dışardqn girişe kapatın??) Şehir dışından geldiğimi söyleyip ricada bulunmama rağmen asla yardımcı olmadılar. Ve şimdi sosyal medyada bir sürü orada fotoğraf çekinen insan görüyorum üstelik sadece içecek içenler bile ??? Eğer ricayı çevirecek kadar katı bir kural konulduysa bunu herkes için yapın ya da en azından 1 gün arayla esnetmeyin. Ayrıca sıcak çikolatayı tek kişi istedim diye gelen bardağa bakın fincanda rica ettim ama oralı olmadılar…. Görüldüğü kadar kaliteli bir işletme değil :)

Set directly on the Bosphorus, this hotel occupies a rare and precious thing: a true stretch of green, where grass meets water and the view stretches effortlessly from Topkapi Palace to the Anatolian side. I paused. I observed. I approved quietly, of course. My approval carries weight. The garden is generous and calm, the kind of place where a dog can walk with dignity while the city hums politely in the background. Morning light dances on the water. Seagulls keep their distance. History watches from across the strait. Now, a confession: We were staying diagonally across at the JW Marriott Bosphorus (no hard feelings). But each morning, my human and I wandered into The Peninsula’s front garden, and no one stopped us. Instead, we were met with smiles, gentle greetings, and that unmistakable air of confidence that says, “Of course you belong here.” The staff understood something important: Luxury does not bark loudly. It welcomes quietly. This is a dog-friendly hotel in the truest sense not as a policy, but as an attitude. No fuss. No spectacle. Just warmth, grace, and respect (which I return in full). I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel! As a seasoned traveler, the Peninsula Istanbul is among the best experiences we’ve had. Not only are the rooms well appointed, posh, and luxuriously finished, the service is THE best. The staff is warm and operates like a well-oiled machine, offering the full gamut of services and amenities with a smile. This was consistent from the time of check-in, to the complimentary breakfast service via Amex Platinum, to the concierge service with whom we communicated via phone. The Front House manager Dilara Yirmaz approached us multiple times to check how our stay was going and offered use of the house car when we visited Topkapi palace. The hotel is situated along the waterfront, perfect for touring, but she insisted on the car rather than have us walk given the forthcoming rain and steep hills en route. The restaurant, Gallada, was exceptional and maintained the consistent service to accompany an exquisite meal in a gorgeous elegant setting. On our last day, we had to catch a 6:30am flight back home and they prepared breakfast boxes for our journey which was the perfect touch to end the trip. I like Istanbul as a city but I LOVE this hotel and will miss it even more. A perfect retreat when you want to indulge and be pampered. I give my highest recommendations!

Dün doğum günümü arkadaşlarımla The Peninsula otelin restoranında kutladık ve gerçekten her şey harikaydı🙏 Beş çayı deneyimi baştan sona çok özenliydi. Sunumlar son derece zarif, lezzetler çok başarılıydı. Özellikle şefin ilgisi ve detaylara verdiği önem deneyimi daha da unutulmaz hale getirdi. Ambiyans, servis kalitesi ve Boğaz manzarasıyla İstanbul’da keyifli vakit geçirmek için harika bir adres. Çok güzel anılarla ayrıldık, emeği geçen herkese teşekkür ederiz🙏

We came to the Peninsula Hotel for dinner as a group of three. The location, the view, and the attention of the staff were wonderful. However, I have to mention that we were not satisfied with the food menu. The portion sizes in the kids’ menu were almost enough to feed a baby who has just started solid foods, but definitely not enough for a child (for example, the hamburger). As for the eclair, it would have been much better if it was served as the classic version we all know, with a nice pastry cream and soft cake inside—instead, we were disappointed by an unexpected surprise. And the baklava cheesecake was really bad. Honestly, the food and the menu really disappointed me.

We initially stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, but happily extended for another 6 nights because we loved everything here. Especially the direct sea view in our room that is so high tech. A special mention to Metin, the Lobby Supervisor, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and always anticipated our needs. This has been the best stay of our 45 day Europe trip.

İstanbul’un en iyi otellerinden biri olarak gösterilen, hatta mimarisi ve tasarımıyla ilk 5’e girebilecek kadar etkileyici görünen; ancak servis ve hizmet kalitesi açısından ne yazık ki hiç başarılı olmayan, adı üstünde “lüks” bir otel!Bir pazar günü arkadaşım ile keyifli vakit geçirmek için gittik. Ancak “Şu anda hizmet veremiyoruz, 11.00–18.00 saatleri arasında brunch var” denilerek, bir saatlik yoldan gelmiş olmamıza rağmen hiçbir ikram yapılmadan geri çevrildik. Misafiri kısa süreliğine de olsa oturtmak, çay veya kahve ikram etmek bu kadar zor olmamalı.Bir Türk vatandaşı olarak, ülkemin en iyi otellerinden biri olarak lanse edilen bir yerde hizmet alamamak son derece utanç verici. Gerçekten yazıklar olsun!

I visited The Peninsula Istanbul today and experienced their Turkish bath. I must say it was truly a wonderful and outstanding experience. I would highly recommend Lina, the therapist who served me during the Turkish bath. She was incredibly gentle, attentive, and professional, which made the entire experience very relaxing and comfortable. Furthermore, the room design at The Peninsula Istanbul is very thoughtful. All the buttons and control systems in the room—such as those for doors, lighting, and other functions—include clear explanations based on the original button you use. This makes everything very intuitive and easy to understand. Previously, I had experienced a Turkish bath at another place, and honestly the experience there was not very good. However, this visit completely changed my perception. The experience here has truly set a new standard for me.
