It isn't easy to describe the experience we had. Nothing except living through it will do it justice, but I will try. This isn't your usual tour. This isn't for the faint hearted, or those expecting carefully laid out plans or their faithful execution. This is for someone looking for the authentic, the genuine, the eye opening and the surprising. You will be guided by someone who knows the terrain and its people, and follow paths across the Zagros that for ages its local nomadic population has called home. You may loose your way, you may wander, but you will never be lost. The moutains are alive with the history of its people, hopping from village to village through mountain passes, ravines, rivers, plateaus and waterfalls, you will be treated to some of the most amazing natural beauty one could wish and to some of the most amazing life stories and people you will ever encounter. At each stopping point you will be welcomed by the amazing inhabitants of this place, living in a land where time passes differently and where modernity has crept in in surprising ways, but preserving their authenticity in almost every aspect of their daily lives. They will cherish every second of your stay and make you feel at home in as remote a place as you can go to in this beautiful country. It will be tiring, for sure. But not an ounce of regret is possible after walking these lands, it will leave you wanting for more.

About 8 months ago, I went on a trip. I went to Mt. Zagros ranges which were the living place of indigenous people called nomad :) I love the beautiful natural sceneries; the small river, the hill, the green fields, the flock of sheep and the blue sky ... they all made a unique combination that I felt something out of the world. Their lifestyles taught me many lessons about courage, striving for life, and diligent, etc. I believe that "Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations." Here are some of the photos:
