Petra Canyon Hotel

An excellent place. The waiters, the receptionists and even the hotel staff gave us a wonderful experience. It is worth spending a few days here. The food is excellent and fresh. The cleanliness is 10. We will come back here at the first opportunity. And the view is beyond words.

This was my second stay at Petra Canyon Hotel, and once again it was an excellent experience. We were a group of 10 adults with 5 rooms booked, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They kindly upgraded all of our rooms to ones with views of Petra, which was absolutely stunning. Our room even had a balcony overlooking both Petra and the city, making the stay even more special. The following morning, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Chef Malik and his team—Ivy, April, and Kamal—were exceptional. They regularly checked in to see if we needed anything and took great care of us throughout the meal.

Belle expérience dans un hôtel avec une vue superbe. La chambre est spacieuse et propre. On peut même profiter de la salle de sport ou la piscine lorsque le climat le permet. La nourriture fraîche est formidablement préparée par les chefs Malik et Rola. Airen nous a accueillis avec gentillesse et professionnalisme comme Kumar à la réception. Un bel endroit à découvrir

This is a great hotel, perfectly positioned to visit Petra and eventually the Wadi Rum. We spent a night here and we had a fantastic experience. They offered us complimentary upgrade of our room and moved us to a suite. The room was elegant, clean, well curated and accommodated with modern forniture. All the staff was friendly, kind and available to assist with our requests, especially the staff at the restaurant. We thank Ivy, April, Malik and Abdullah for making our short stay extremely pleasant. Dinner and breakfast were of good quality and variety. A great stay!

Am fost cazata 2 nopți la acest hotel. Experienta pozitiva referitor la camera si masa dar un mare ninus faptul ca mi-au dispărut din camera 2 creme. Am anunțat dispariția produselor, s-au prezentat in camera 2 persoane sa caute sub saltele si in perini ceea ce m-a făcut sa cred ca nu era prima întâmplare de acest fel. S-au scuzați afirmând ca nu s-a mai întâmplat dar ma îndoiesc având in vedere comportamentul lor. E greu de crezut ca le puneam eu sub saltea deci aveau suspiciuni. Au venit cu un cadou , tot o crema dar de care nu m-am putut bucura fiindu-mi confiscata la Control bagaje din cauza gramajului. Am apreciat gestul managementului dar mai au de lucru în legătură cu verificarea personalului. Este prima oara când mi-a dispărut ceva intr-un hotel. M-a învățat sa nu las nimic nepus in bagaje sigure.

Had a wonderful stay at Petra Canyon Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was very tasty. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended!

Very spacious rooms, surprisingly even better than our hotel in Amman. Staff was friendly and hospitable. We also got a free upgrade to a more spacious room with a nice Petra view. Would 100% recommend

Sadly to cold for the pool in winter but we knew that before. Easy to heat and beautiful rooms with space! Just the food in the buffet was not really my cup of tea but my parents loved it. So not their fault. For breakfest it was amazing. Staff was super friendly sadly i only remember ivy but also the chef with the scrambled egg and the reception made you feel very welcome.

La experiencia ha sido muy buena. El personal es super atento (en especial Airen) haciendote sentirte como en casa en todo momento. La habitacion muy confortable y amplia. Buena ubicacion. Comida rica y abundante. Muy contentos !!

Nous avons séjourné ici 2 nuits avec nos enfants. Parfaitement placé pour découvrir l incroyable site de Petra. Superbe hôtel, prestations de qualité, belle piscine et salle de sport. Et le personnel est très accueillant et au petit soin, merci à Rola, Ivy et Kumar pour leur gentillesse et attentions.

Petra Canyon Hotel is one of the best places to stay near Petra. The rooms are spotless and modern, with comfortable beds and large windows that open to mountain views. The staff treat you like family. From the moment you arrive, they remember your name and take care of every detail, from helping with transport to arranging your visits. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with both traditional Jordanian dishes and Western options. The alfresco café by the lobby is a highlight. It is quiet, open to the breeze, and perfect for coffee or tea after a long day exploring Petra. The location is ideal, close enough to the Petra Visitor Centre for convenience yet far enough for peaceful evenings. If you want comfort, service, and value in one place, Petra Canyon Hotel delivers all three.

Really nice hotel! We traveled all over Jordan and stayed in different cities and hotels (4 and 5 stars), but this one was one of the best. The furnishings and rooms were nice, the bathroom spacious, the staff polite, the food tasty and enough. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. There was even a separate smoking room next to the restaurant. What more could you want? I highly recommend it!

Large clean rooms and a good location for exploring Petra (note the location is slightly further out of town - but in return you get lovely views). We enjoyed our stay but were really quite disappointed with the food options - we didn’t enjoy the buffet for dinner and found breakfast to be very basic.

It’s our first time here, and it definitely won’t be the last! The place is amazing,we absolutely loved it. The breakfast was great, and special thanks to Chef Malik for making it even better. The restaurant view is simply unbelievable.

It's a large good hotel with nice views but if you don't have a car or tour guide it's a taxi ride to Petra visitor centre. Modern and spacious with good buffet meals but a bit limited in some items. No fresh squeezed juice at breakfast (maybe you can purchase that at their bar.) They only serve filter coffee at breakfast. You have to pay for any drinks at dinner. A large bottle of sparkling water is very expensive.

As a celiac, I recommend this place! Chef Malik and Kumar made me gluten free bread. Also Ivy and April are very kind and friendly. If you’re traveling for this, feel free to the hotel with confidence.

We spend 4 nights here while exploring Petra and Wadi Rum. Location is great, located by the Kings Way just 3 km from Petra’s visitor centre and easy access from/to Amman and Wadi Rum. Check in was easy and fast, staff is really kind and polite. During all our 4 nights every staff member showed a genuine worry to make sure we were enjoying our time at the hotel. Food is amazing, and I highly recommend paying extra to have dinner buffet included! It’s such a convenience having so much food after a full day exploring Petra and/or Wadi Rum. There are so many variety of food, including several dessert options. Breakfast is also a huge buffet with many options including an egg station. Room was good size, comfortable bed and clean. Shower pressure could be better and water don’t get hot enough during peak time. Pool was closed for maintenance, during winter. There are enough parking spots right in from of the entrance. We met one of the owners, Mr Adel, who is such a nice guy. We talked every night and was a really pleasure meeting him. Overall we had a perfect stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. Free parking and a 10min drive to the Petra visitors center. The service is very professional and friendly. Breakfast is great but we were disappointed in the food we had for dinner. We ordered off the ala carte menu but the buffet didn’t look like it had very many options and was a bit expensive. Maybe it’s better other days; it seems like more people were coming the day we left. The other negative is that you need to buy drinking water beyond the one small bottle provided daily. This might be common to all the hotels in the area but since we were there to hike in the desert this was a bit disappointing. Overall I would recommend staying at this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Edit: I had to come back to this review because I’ve since stayed at 7 more hotels and none were as clean or well kept as this hotel and most were more expensive.

Very nice hotel. Huge room. Huge bed. Very nice bathroom. Easy to use heating and cooling. Decent breakfast although the woman in charge of the breakfast room needs to do some customer service training. She was abrupt, pushy and rude. Not a good look for the hotel. Great place without her.
