Shahi Veg Restaurant - Best Lakeview Restaurant with Live Music & Folk Dance

It is not worth referring to anyone, the taste is very bad, the atmosphere here is also very very bad and some of the staff are also very unprofessional sitting is very uncomfortable , it is not hygienic at all.It is becoming completely dirty. The food was not eatable at all The orange blossom tasted so old it was completely discarded.

Superb place for lunch n dinner both. Folk dance, bon fire, garden, yummy food. Total paisa wasool place. Rajasthani thali is must try. Chinese food is good too. Just a suggestion for rajasthan thali dal should be unlimited along with Bati

A quite good view from here. Visited 3-4 times for dinner. You can enjoy rajasthani live music here. The food is exotic and quite good in taste. From starters to soups to main dishes, their taste is very good. Must visit

They are offering 10% off on swiggy but after going to resturant they are not accepting and sudden behaviour change. Food is average and price is high. Also, mouth fresher they served was full of insects. Overall Bad experience.

Awesomely located at lake side and Mountain View. Great ambiance around. The place is excellent to chill out. They have different sitting arrangements, like in the main garden where we could also see cultural dances and singing, air conditioned restaurant and above that one elevated rooftop restaurant overlooking to the lake with a live screen. While the restaurant has good features, we didn’t like much the food. Dahi ke Sholey were very oily and sweet in taste, Tandoori Malai Paneer were served very cold as if just taken out from the freezer even the marination wasn’t enough. It seems that they don’t know how Kulcha is made, they served kulcha as thin as chapati with least stuffing, kulchas are normally very fluffy like thick bread and heavily stuffed. This had been very disappointing. The mushroom masala was definitely delicious. I may again visit them for ambience sake but not really for the food.

Best place to have dinner with family and friends. Ambience is good. Rajasthani music will be there to entertain. The taste is good but the rates are a bit high. We visited this restaurant yesterday and had a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely poor, and the staff showed no professionalism at all. When we raised a genuine complaint, instead of addressing the issue politely, we were given nonsense and rude replies. Customer satisfaction seems to be the least of their concerns. Such behavior is unacceptable for any restaurant. We expected basic courtesy and accountability, but unfortunately, neither was present. I would not recommend this place based on our experience. This was especially upsetting as it completely ruined our 31st, which we had planned to spend enjoying a good meal.

They are misleading customers by accepting dine-out bookings from Swiggy under a different restaurant name. On Swiggy, the restaurant is listed as "Udaipur Traditional Restaurant", and even at their main entrance gate, the name displayed is "Udaipur Traditional Restaurant." However, when they provide the bill, it shows a different name: "Shahi Veg Restaurant." We chose this place specifically because Swiggy Dineout was offering a 20% discount at Udaipur Traditional Restaurant. After we finished our lunch, they refused to provide the discount, claiming that they are not "Udaipur Traditional Restaurant," despite the name clearly being displayed at their entrance. When we questioned this, the situation escalated. The managers and staff gathered around us, argued aggressively, and used abusive language.

Good traditional rajashtani food..little bit slow service..but food quality is good. This is on the way to Sajjangarh palace..so good stop for lunch...we ordered rajsthani thali....

I recently visited Udaipur Traditional Restaurant with my family and opted for their highly anticipated Rajasthani Thali. While the overall ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, I regret to say that my experience with the food left much to be desired. Hence, I feel compelled to share my honest feedback. Firstly, the Rajasthani Thali came at a hefty cost of 650 per person, which led me to expect an exceptional dining experience. Unfortunately, the quality of one particular dish, the BATI, fell far short of expectations. It was immediately evident that the BATI was not fresh, as it emitted an unpleasant odor. I brought this matter to the attention of our server, but instead of acknowledging the mistake, they engaged in a lengthy and unproductive debate. It was disheartening to see that they were unwilling to accept responsibility for the subpar quality of their food. To prove my point, I even presented the evidence of the stale BATI right in front of them. As a customer, I believe it is crucial for restaurants to maintain the highest standards when it comes to food freshness and taste. It is disappointing that Udaipur Traditional Restaurant failed to deliver on these aspects, particularly in a dish that is a highlight of Rajasthani cuisine. Despite this disappointing experience, I sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and addresses the issue. It is my wish that they prioritize serving fresh and flavorful BATI to their customers in the future. In conclusion, while the ambiance of Udaipur Traditional Restaurant was pleasant, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend their Rajasthani Thali due to the unsatisfactory quality of the BATI and the server's unwillingness to acknowledge the mistake. I hope that improvements will be made to ensure a better dining experience for future customers.
