मैंने सुना था कि जोधपुर में सुरपुरा डैम है, पर कभी गया नहीं था 😊 लेकिन आज अपने दोस्त के साथ सुरपुरा डैम गया और सच में बहुत ही अच्छा लगा ❤️ वहाँ के नज़ारे एकदम लाजवाब थे 🌊🏞️ वहाँ सिर्फ डैम ही नहीं, बल्कि सुरपुरा सफारी पार्क भी है, जहाँ आप अपने दोस्तों और परिवार के साथ आराम से घूम सकते हो 🫂✨ अब बात करते हैं वहाँ की एंट्री और जगह के बारे में 👇 🚍 मेन गेट वहीं है जहाँ 4 नंबर सिटी बस लगती है और एंट्री भी वहीं से होती है। 🎟️ एंट्री टिकट सिर्फ ₹10 प्रति व्यक्ति है। ⏰ गेट सुबह लगभग 8 बजे खुलता है और शाम को करीब 9 बजे बंद हो जाता है। 🌿 अब बात करें इस जगह की खासियत की — 🐅 यहाँ जानवरों के बारे में बहुत अच्छी जानकारी दी गई है। चाहे वो जमीन पर रहने वाले जानवर हों, समुद्र में रहने वाले जीव हों या विलुप्त होने वाले जीव — सबके बारे में जानकारी लिखी हुई है। उनका वजन, उम्र आदि भी बताया गया है, जो आप फोटो में देख सकते हो 📸 और सभी जानवर की मूर्तिया metal को use करके बनाई हें। 🧹 सफाई की बात करें तो एकदम शानदार सफाई है। हर जगह डस्टबिन रखे हुए हैं ताकि कोई कचरा ना फैलाए ✨ 🌄 यहाँ का व्यू बहुत ही सुंदर है क्योंकि यह जगह थोड़ी ऊँचाई पर बनी हुई है। 🍴 यहाँ रेस्टोरेंट भी है। 🛕 और काली माता का मंदिर भी है, जहाँ बहुत अच्छा और शांत माहौल लगता है 🙏 🌊 और डैम का नज़ारा तो पूछो ही मत… हवा के साथ पानी की लहरें और पानी की आवाज़ एक अलग ही सुकून देती हैं ❤️ Personally मुझे यह जगह बहुत ही शांत और सुंदर लगी 😊 अगर आप जोधपुर में हो तो एक बार यहाँ जरूर घूमने जाएँ 👍

Surpura Safari Park and Dam is a must-visit for families. If you have kids, this is a great place to bring them and show how the various animal sculptures are creatively made, even the tree at the entrance is crafted from machine parts! The dam is also beautiful. While the boat ride is a bit pricey, kids will definitely enjoy the experience. I highly recommend visiting at least an hour before sunset so you can enjoy the boating and take in the scenic views.

Superb scenic place 20 mins from the city. It is worth a visit with superb view of dam. You can also visit dam and do water sports there. There are various sculptures of animals in surpura safari park made of automobile parts. There is good dam view restaurant with good variety of food.

Surpura Dam is now Surpura Safari Park. It is good for bringing your kids as it has statues of various animals, colorful garden and eye pleasing scenery. Great place to visit with your family. It has many photogenic spots and boating is also available.

This is the newest addition to tourist places in Jodhpur. The dam was build a couple of years ago and recently a big garden with caricatures of animals is built around it. Animals are built from parts of spare junk parts from automobiles etc. Surpura Dam offers boating and is serene and peaceful place. Garden is spacious and well lit, good picnic spot with family or friends.

The place is beautiful... Clean ... Not at all dirty or untidy... The statues of animals and the details of them are interesting... I basically liked the dam segment... Boating is available and the view is fabulous... I would suggest going around evening hours for the boating.. i liked the view at sunset and the rays leaving the darkness behind... The lighting in the evening is what makes it more beautiful... You can spend a complete day here if you have kids with you.. It's 2024.. so try getting rental cars, your own car or rented autos as there is no vehicle available during the late evening hours. .. it's too far from the main road.. so have a vehicle for your way back home... But worth the visit .. the tickets are affordable and boating charges differ as per your preference... I took a normal boat from Rs 200 for a single round per person. Personally must visit ... Loved the view... The place is beautiful... Worth your complete time... For every age group....

On 1st December 2024, I visited Surpura Dam with my family. It was a beautiful place to enjoy and spend time together. One of the most interesting things was the unique sculptures of animals, birds, and even dinosaurs. These sculptures were made from scrap metal and other recycled materials, which made them even more fascinating. Detailed information about each sculpture was displayed, making it fun and educational. For children, the place was even more exciting. There were swings, slides, and spaces for jumping and playing. A giant Mickey Mouse statue added extra fun for the kids and made the spot very lively. The boating area was also a highlight. The calm water and the natural beauty around made it very relaxing. We all enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, the visit to Surpura Dam was a wonderful experience. The creative sculptures, fun activities for kids, and scenic beauty made it a perfect family outing

Wonderful development of Surpura Dam and the safari park. Very good tourist spot for family, specially for kids. It has lot of animal sculptures made out of waste materials. The dam is a very good sunset point, one can enjoy semi speed boats here.

सुरपुरा बाँध का उपयोग राजस्थान के दूसरे सबसे बड़े शहर जोधपुर को 2029 तक आवश्यक पेयजल उपलब्ध कराने के लिए एक भंडारण जलाशय के रूप में किया जाएगा। यह सुरपुरा गाँव के पास स्थित है, जहाँ ज़िला और उप-ज़िला मुख्यालय स्थित हैं। यह जोधपुर शहर से लगभग 18 किलोमीटर दूर है। सुरपुरा बांध परियोजना 2013 में शुरू हुई थी, जब तत्कालीन कांग्रेस सरकार को परियोजना की 750 करोड़ रुपये की लागत में से 630 करोड़ रुपये का ऋण फ्रांसीसी विकास संगठन एल'एजेंसी फ्रैंकेइस डी डेवलपमेंट (एएफडी) से मिला था। इस बड़ी परियोजना के कारण सन सिटी में पानी की आपूर्ति में सुधार हुआ है। इससे चौबीसों घंटे पानी उपलब्ध कराने वाली एक प्रणाली स्थापित करना संभव हो पाया है। इस परियोजना से विशाल थार रेगिस्तान से सटे जोधपुर में उच्च गुणवत्ता वाला पेयजल पहुँचाना आसान हो गया है। इससे लंबे समय से चली आ रही पानी की कमी की समस्या का समाधान भी हो रहा है

Best place for caple or picnic spot. But don't use camel ride ,kids car ride ,or nearby water dam boat , there are cheap.
