The room was adequately sized, but the bathroom was very small and lacked hygiene. The flush wasn’t functioning properly, and no toilet hand shower was available—only a mug was provided. Bedding (pillow and quilt) seemed smelly, which affected overall comfort. Food was okay, and the availability of tea and hot drinking water was a plus. However, cleanliness and basic bathroom facilities require attention.

It was really worth it . I got a chance to enjoy hospitality. I really enjoyed the view and stay on hotel . When I see the review I was quiet dissatisfied so request other to visit there . Hotel looks normal from outside but it was very cozy and spacious . Rooms were very good and worth it or i will like to tell it as value for money . I got chance to enjoy organic food and even on these generation I got chance to enjoy my time with joint family . Thank you gaurishankhar hotel and lodge for this great opportunity.

Amazing place in an amazing location! Loved the place and the people there were very kind and welcoming. The rooms were good(Nepali-style) but the bathroom/toilet could be more clean and please add the jet spray. Very good place to go far from the crowded city and relax, clear view of sunset and sunrise! ✔️

Very neat clean hotel . Among all those hotel on Daman this hotel and maintain the cleanliness and service were topnotch.very good and family oriented . The hotel look bad from out but it is good from inside. The room are nice. But cleanines should be maintain . Food is evrage. Plase is nice .

My 4 star is mainly based on the availability of regular stuffs, hospitality and view.. Especially the sunset from my room was simply awesome. The room only cost me 1000 Nepali for a night, and food is around 200-300 every time. I recommend to stay here if you are more into the vibrance of the trip rather than good bed and liquors.

I really wish to give 5 star but poor service.. And imagine how drunk person with goon attitude behave with customer. View is good owner is good when not drunk and everything is money it costs.. And room is around 2500 . View is great. Interior thikai!! No cupboards no TV (no hard feelings but hospitality needs to improved) 🙏

I was working up here for a few days. Its cheap and cheerful but the room was decent, clean and with a private bathroom. The family who run it make were very welcoming and you feel like one of their own almost immediately.

Spacious seating areas open to breathtaking views, instantly uplifting an exhausted body and spirit. After a long and tiring journey. I was feeling a bit homesick, but the hotel's family-run atmosphere made everything feel warm and welcoming. I have rarely seen such a close-knit family running a hotel it reminded me of the importance of family. Even as a guest, I felt as if I were at home with my own parents. Later, I discovered that everything I consumed there was completely organic, adding to the peace and comfort I had been craving. The rooms exceeded my expectations in cleanliness and comfort. Despite some negative reviews online, I believe this hotel deserves more recognition. The time I spent at Gaurishankar Hotel and Lodge was unforgettable a beautiful pause in my journey that I will always cherish.

Best palce to stay on daman . Service were too good . Price were reasonable and organic food were aviable

A family operated lodge operating with 20 rooms. It is the only hotel which can accomodate a big group. The lodge offers limited food selections. The place is clean. And easily accessible. The old rooms has shared bath room. However the New room has wood paneled has attached bath room. However mattress, pillows and bedding can be improved.

The rooms were cleaned, well furnished and hotel owner is nice person. Food was good and it was tasty. If I visit again I will prefer this hotel
