It was an amazing stay at Hostel Gandhi, and I truly enjoyed every moment there. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm smiles and helpful attitude. The hostel is very easy to find, which is a big plus, especially for travelers who are new to the area. The reception guys were super friendly, patient, and always ready to help with anything I needed, whether it was directions, transport, or local tips. The atmosphere of the hostel is comfortable and relaxing, making it easy to meet other travelers and feel at home. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, allowing me to rest well after long days of exploring. The common areas were also nice and cozy, perfect for chilling, chatting, or just enjoying some quiet time. What I appreciated most was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They really care about their guests and go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels safe and happy. Overall, my stay at Hostel Gandhi was memorable and enjoyable. One of the best places to stay in this price range. The food is genuinely homemade and tastes amazing. Cleanliness and hygiene are maintained really well, and the rooms and bathrooms are kept neat and clean. The management and staff are very supportive, friendly, and professional. A special mention to Chef Nayak — he personally prepares very delicious food and it truly makes the stay even better. The pricing is also very genuine and completely worth it. Overall, a comfortable place with a homely environment. Highly recommended!

The home shrine is unique and gives a very peaceful, blissful feeling. Akshay is extremely kind and helpful in every possible way. Nayak Bhai’s cooking reminds me so much of my home back in Thailand—comforting and delicious. Shibu feels like a younger brother—hardworking, caring, and always attentive to guests. Had a wonderful stay at Hostel Gandhi in Chennai! The hospitality is excellent, with seamless 24/7 check-in and check-out services that make the experience very convenient. Check-out is at 10 AM, and even after that, guests are welcome to relax in the lounge area until their bus or train timings, with no restrictions at all. The food is absolutely delicious, and what truly stands out is their flexibility, they’re happy to prepare meals whenever you request, which is something you rarely find elsewhere. They also provide rental services for exploring Chennai, making it even easier for travelers to get around. The staff are incredibly friendly, and what begins as a stay among strangers quickly turns into a warm experience of connecting with people from different parts of the country. It genuinely feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended! 💯

Very comfortable place. The rooms and the bathrooms are very clean. They do the cleaning of the rooms time to time. So it's very neat and tidy. Felt very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and nice. The food is very nice very homely style. Great place to stay.

Regularly I'm staying in this hotel A/C will be working @25°c from 7pm to 7am. Good staff with good maintenance and service. Washrooms will be very clean whole day. After 7am better to keep room door open for freshness since no more A/C after 7am Common area for working and relaxing is good Parking also good. I will give 5 out of 5 for receptionist and other staff. Gandhi hostel may attract by staff(Sibbhu & others) more than building even though building is too good 🙏😊 🙏

The service was equally impressive the receptionist, along with the other staff members, were courteous, professional, and consistently attentive to all needs. Overall, it was a very pleasant and satisfying experience.

Loved my stay here, Cebu was so welcoming and always smiling along with the other staff. Perfect first stop in India, felt very homely, food was great and met some lovely people. They had just got 2 new cats that are adorable. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, thank you so much !!

I had a pleasant experience at Hostel Gandhi during my 1 day stay. Check in was smooth and showed the bunk bed. Washroom was hygienic. I had dinner and it was good. Host Roshan is cordial and welcoming. Would love to visit again.

It is a decent hostel, however from the location, the other guests and the rules of the place, I would assume it is a worker hostel more than a tourist hostel. Generally around 30 minute car ride to anything close. Basically in the middle of a tech industrial district. Also air-con hours are 7pm-7am
