We had a great experience at this restaurant across various cuisines. The thali, pizza, sandwich, north Indian ala carte all were excellent. Good service and lovely ambience

Had a really nice time here. The food is pretty good but the service level and atmosphere is spectacular. There was a great live music performance on the verandah. The wait staff are extremely attentive and helpful.

This 5-star restaurant offers both à la carte and buffet options, with free dishes thrown in for à la carte orders. However, the buffet system is more economical, despite being pricier than other hotels. The food had its highlights - the aalo tikki and rasmalai were delicious, but the main course was disappointingly bland. Service was slow, yet courteous and polite. Given the high prices, expectations are high, and while some dishes shone, others fell short. Worth trying for the specific dishes that stood out, but overall experience was mixed.

We just happened to visit this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It's a pure luxury feeling, the moment you enter. Several scenic spots to capture great pictures. To our surprise the food taste and quantity both were better than we expected. We ordered the veg thaali. Also the staff is very courteous. Special mention to our attendant, Lalit, who made the entire experience nice with his service. Overall a must visit place.

How about going to celebrate parents anniversary and the staff behaviour and food hygiene gives it a kick to third class experience. Visited many hotels earlier but this was a nightmare.hair in the laccha naan..not one...in 3 laccha naans..in vegetable.and when complained not even a basic courtesy of higher official to come and apologise..being decent and not to escalate the matter..skipped the whole meal.returned paranthas back..nd the audacity of these people to count them on bill and not even basic courtesy to apologise...Trident you lost the hospitality and name which u had in this sector and I bet you there are many budding restaurants which are maintaining high class hygiene..main concern was staff giggling and laughing when clearly u were able to c a good reputed decent family disappointed by your behaviour and gesture. Wait for next step people.u all suck

While residing at The Trident, Udaipur, we had a great experience at Aravalli restaurant. Be it a buffet breakfast or dinner or a la-carte, every time a quite satisfactory feel. Being tired after a full day sight seeing excursion, buffet dinner at Aravalli was an amazing and soothing delight. Firstly a warm greet by staff, then start with starters and picking exotic Indian, Asians & western culinary delights according to out taste buds and the having delicious desserts that not only fulfill our appetite but also set our body & soul. Likewise was the buffet breakfast. The aroma of freshly cooked food was enough to craving for different cuisines. so tasty and delicious dishes with a variety in breakfast also. Ambience is also superb. Superb service. scenic views in the backdrop compel you to click some pictures of you with your loved ones. Overall a fine dine in memory from Aravalli.

I have ben visiting trident Restaurant for dinner and lunches , since the beginning .the food here is always exceptionally good , consistent quality , great service , slight increase have been made in prices but it is worth while. They always have lavish buffet , wide menu , multi cuisine choice. the ambience is good , ( unchanged since the opening),when ever I wish to have good food and good variety , Trident is the first choice in town. generally it is difficult to find a table for non residents, hence it is reserve a table in advance if you are non resident.

We discovered upon arrival that it is not possible to visit the neighbouring Oberoi without hotel reservations, but we were allowed and able to lunch at The Trident hotel in the same grounds without any reservation. Whilst more expensive than most restaurants in the city, it was delicious, with exceptional service. The Masala Tawa (Rs 1200) was beautiful, as was the Butter Chicken (Rs 1250) with Butter Tandoori Roti (Rs 250)

Awesome ambiance, awesome hospitality. Food was delicious. 2 things. 1. Valet guy misunderstood me for Chauffeur and I had to self drive to parking and walk back. 2. Laal maas was tasty but meat could have been tender. Vishal Singh was courteous and friendly. Since it was my anniversary, they brought in complimentary desserts, which was very thoughtful. Perfect place for romantic dinner. Made a right choice of visiting Trident. Would surely recommend the place. Got a feedback call next day. Overall a great experience!!

We dined in for lunch at the restaurant in Trident Hotel, Udaipur, and except for the daal baati churma, everything else was quite disappointing. The Punjabi subjis we ordered were extremely watery, lacking both flavor and texture. The service was also quite slow, which further impacted the overall experience. Adding to the disappointment, we tried calling the main number and the restaurant using the contact details listed on their website, but no one answered. This lack of responsiveness was frustrating and not what we expected from a hotel of this caliber. While the ambiance of the restaurant is undeniably nice, the quality of the food and service did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return for the food based on this experience.

ik this is gourmet and fancy but doesn’t mean it can get away with garbage food and way too costly. indian options are very bad and white washed. dinner buffet for 4 after taxes is around 10k.

Had a great experience at the Aravalli . We had gone for dinner on a busy sunday and the hospitality we received was one of the best I have had over the years. Lokendra was a great server and he looked after all our needs. There were special dishes that we wanted to have and it was obliged smoothly by him. I would recommend you to experience their food and hospitality whenever you visit Udaipur. Also , the Rasmalai they have is literally one of the best. A must try.

Given that we were in a reputed hotel in a city like Udaipur, we expected better hospitality and service. We were not attended for good few minutes after being seated. They had a buffet going on and it seemed as if they were less focused on a la carte. The food that we ordered for from the menu was not available. Also the menu was also hard to read. They had cocktail menu only, when asked about mocktail then asked us to choose from the cocktail and they will make it non alcoholic! When the food arrived, there was no one to serve us. The food was ok, there is better food available in Udaipur. The mutton item in the non veg platter was too dry and hard to eat. The portions are also small. For every item they needed atleast 30 minutes to prepare. The only highlight was the outdoor setting. We went in for a good experience and I am sad to say that it was ruined. They were more interested in serving the guests who stayed at their hotel than outsiders like us.

The food was pretty good, but nothing too special imo. The service was also pretty good but for some reason they kept asking me for my room number 3-4 times which was odd but not really too concerning. Overall decently priced and fairly enjoyable

Culinary Nirvana at Trident Udaipur with Marvelous Hosts Abhishek and Tika From the moment my partner and I entered the elegant dining space at Trident Udaipur, we were immersed in a sensorial extravaganza that promised an unforgettable gastronomic journey. The ambiance was a blend of royal charm and serene sophistication, an ideal backdrop to the culinary delights that awaited us. However, what truly elevated our dining experience to an exquisite zenith were our remarkable hosts for the evening: Abhishek and Tika. Abhishek greeted us with a warmth that felt like the embrace of an old friend, setting the tone for the evening with his affable manner and keen insight into the Trident's food philosophy. His recommendations were delivered with a passion that only a true connoisseur of flavors possesses. Meanwhile, Tika's diligence and attention to detail throughout our meal showcased the pinnacle of service excellence that one could expect at this esteemed establishment. The food, presented as a symphony of colors, aromas, and textures, was a testament to the sheer brilliance of the chefs at Trident Udaipur. The first dish to grace our table was a beautifully plated assortment of local appetizers. Each bite-sized delight was a burst of regional spices and fresh ingredients that teased the palate, preparing us for the main courses to come. The star of the show was undoubtedly the 'Laal Maas,' a Rajasthani specialty. The dish was an expertly prepared lamb curry with a depth of flavor that echoed the culinary heritage of the land. As recommended by Abhishek, it paired sublimely with buttered 'Naan' fresh out of the tandoor. The lamb was succulent and tender, practically melting in the mouth, with spices that were robust yet not overwhelming, creating a harmonious balance that was nothing short of perfection. Tika, on the other hand, made sure that our glasses were never empty, offering an impressive selection of wines that perfectly complemented every dish. His choice of a full-bodied red to accompany the richness of the 'Laal Maas' was particularly inspired, showcasing the level of expertise and thoughtfulness that Tika brought to our dining experience. Not to be outdone by the non-vegetarian offerings, the vegetarian dishes were a revelation. The 'Gatte ki Sabzi,' a yogurt-based curry with gram flour dumplings, was the epitome of comfort food with a regal twist. Abhishek's suggestion to enjoy it with 'Bajra Roti' was nothing short of genius. The combination of the curry's tanginess with the earthy warmth of millet bread was a culinary match made in heaven. Dessert was an experience unto itself; the 'Gulab Jamun' we had was a sweet ending that encapsuled the royal treatment we'd enjoyed throughout. Warm, soft, and soaked in a subtly flavored syrup, it left our sweet tooth thoroughly satisfied. In all, our evening at Trident Udaipur was far beyond what we could have ever anticipated. But it was not just the expertly crafted cuisine that made our experience remarkable – it was the personal touch added by our hosts, Abhishek and Tika. Their impeccable service, informed recommendations, and genuine enthusiasm for our enjoyment were the secret spices that made our meal truly exceptional. To anyone considering a culinary foray at Trident Udaipur, know that with Abhishek and Tika, you are in outstanding hands. Their service will undoubtedly exemplify your food experience, just as they did for us, creating memories that will linger just as pleasantly as the flavors of their incredible cuisine.
