I had a disappointing experience at Bismi Hypermarket. While shopping, I left my trolley for a moment to pick up another product. During that time, another customer removed my items and took my trolley.
I immediately informed the staff and requested that they check the CCTV footage to identify what had happened. However, the staff simply told me that they did not have access to the camera recordings and could not assist further.
I was surprised by this response, especially since CCTV cameras are installed throughout the store. As a customer, I expected better support and a genuine effort to resolve the issue. Customer satisfaction and assistance should be a priority, particularly when a problem occurs inside the store.
I am a regular customer and spend approximately Rs.4,000–5000 every month at this store. After this incident, I chose to leave without completing my purchase. I understand that one customer leaving may not have an immediate impact on your business, but if this type of attitude and lack of concern is shown to customers repeatedly, it could result in the loss of many loyal customers in the future.
I hope the management takes customer concerns seriously, improves staff responsiveness, and ensures that customers receive proper assistance when issues arise.
