Harni Mahadev Temple Bhilwara

The temple is uniquely situated under a massive, single-piece rock, giving it a natural "cave" feel. It’s located about 6 km from the city center, nestled at the foot of the Aravalli hills. If you visit during the monsoon (July–September), the greenery is lush, and there is often a small waterfall nearby that makes the atmosphere feel like a hill station Don't miss the Chamunda Mata Temple located on the hill right opposite. You can drive up or walk; the top offers a stunning 360-degree view of Bhilwara city. The main deity is Lord Shiva (a natural Shivling). There is also a secondary shrine featuring a large black stone Lingam with carvings of all 12 Jyotirlingas.

It's an excellent temple for lord Shiv devotees. The core temple is situated under a rock and there are some legends regarding that rock. It is a one piece rock. The surroundings are very calm and there is a forest reserve area nearby. Please visit this place, it's one of the best places in Bhilwara district.

हरनी महादेव भीलवाड़ा के शहर के सबसे नजदीक टूरिस्ट स्पॉट या धार्मिक दर्शन स्थानों में अग्रिम स्थानों में से एक हैं भीलवाड़ा का हरनी गांव जो की भीलवाड़ा शहर से लगभग 6 किलोमीटर दूर हैं। यहां लगने वाला महाशिवरात्रि का मेला भीलवाड़ा के मेलों में प्रमुख स्थान रखता हैं। नामकरण इस मंदिर का नाम हरनी गांव में स्थित महादेव मंदिर होने के कारण हरनी महादेव हैं। इतिहास ऐसा माना जाता हैं आटून (भीलवाड़ा के नजदीकी कस्बा) के ठाकुर आखेट खेलने जब अरावली पर्वतमाला की शाखा हरनी की तरफ आए तो उन्हें स्वप्न में एक शिला के नीचे शिवलिंग के दर्शन हुए, बाद ने खोज करने पर इसी स्थान पर शिवलिंग के दर्शन हुए। यह शिवलिंग 800 वर्ष पुराना बताया जाता है उस हिसाब से था शिव मंदिर भीलवाड़ा के प्राचीन शिवनमंदिर में से एक हैं। कालांतर में भीलवाड़ा के दरक परिवार ने इस मंदिर का निर्माण एवं रखरखाव का ध्यान रखा, आज भी दरक परिवार इस मंदिर के ट्रस्टी हैं। दर्शन : मंदिर में प्राचीन शिवलिंग के दर्शन के साथ ही पीतल के नंदी के दर्शन मिलते हैं। अभी नवीन निर्माण के साथ दीर्घ आकार के नंदी की स्थापना भी की गई हैं। मंदिर के पास ही सुंदर तालाब हैं जो बरसात के बाद में बड़ा ही मनोहारी हैं। कैसे पहुंचे : भीलवाड़ा शहर से ऑटो टैक्सी मिल जाती हैं।

This is HinduTemple. With big shivling moorrat .. felt very calm, peaceful and happy here... I had visited Temple from bhilwara bus station through Rik which had taken Rs150 ... It's about 6 - 9 KMS.. there are few other temples near to harni Dev Temple... Open till 8 pm ... On Mondays it's open till 10 pm... Thanks a lot for reading my review... Take Care

Harni Mahadev Bhilwara Harni Mahadev in Bhilwara is a renowned pilgrim center situated 6 km from Bhilwara in Rajasthan. This hilly region is prominent for a water fall and Chamunda Mata temple.
