Passport Office Abbottabad

My experience was overwhelmingly positive. I didn't face any hassle whatsoever, and the entire renewal process was completed smoothly and efficiently. The staff were highly cooperative, helpful, and respectful throughout. At every counter I visited, I was met with professionalism and a genuine willingness to assist. Despite there being a considerable number of people present, the office seemed very well organized, and applicants were being processed surprisingly quickly. People were in and out within minutes, which was genuinely impressive. Getting to the office was also much easier than I had been led to believe. The drive was peaceful and straightforward. There is a photocopy shop located right next to the passport office, which is incredibly convenient for anyone who needs additional copies of documents. Mobile data was working perfectly as well, making payment through the Passport Asan App quick and hassle-free. As an added convenience, there's even a small shop on-site where visitors can purchase water and snacks while waiting. Overall, I had a very positive experience and found the entire process efficient, organized, and customer-friendly. Credit where it's due, the staff and management did an excellent job.

The passport office is located outside the city and there is no proper local transportation available, which can make reaching the office difficult. However, the staff was very cooperative, respectful, and professional throughout the process. Especially Data Entry Operator Aqeel Urehman, the token issuer, and the Assistant Director were very kind and helpful. Their good behavior and support made the experience smooth and comfortable.

The Passport Office Abbottabad has been shifted to a remote and poorly connected area, causing serious inconvenience to the public. There is no nearby banking facility, and the local transport system is also insufficient and unreliable. This creates major difficulties for applicants, especially elderly citizens, women, and people coming from distant areas. An important government office like this should be located in a central and easily accessible place with proper supporting facilities. The authorities are requested to urgently address these issues in the interest of public convenience.

Passport office should be in Havelian near national bank and nadra office all facilities are available no transport issue every solution related to documents needed for passport, cnic, Bank are in one building parking area is diverse.

Note: Please pay fee urgent/normal fee of your passport in NBP nawansheher branch before coming to passport office, else you need to come back again. Because drive to nearest bank is 20minutes minimum. The officer in charge is really nice and did our work on after duty hours. Don't know why they moved office from Mandian to township. Office is minimum 30 minutes on drive from Abbottabad city. Public transport, Careem, uber and inDriver is not available so come on booking.

Location was side from city but InDrive is available and working And the second thing fee Pay before going there. Pay from EasyPaisa or Jazz cash online. Note for Passport Department 👉Please add phone contact on Google.

Staff, road, location overall experience is very bad. It took six to seven hours to complete my all process. For fees submission bank is far away from office. Out of four counter only 2 counters are working properly which make office too much crowded.

Visited on 7th July 2025. Excellent service overall. Make sure to submit your fee at National Bank before visiting the passport office. While there's no public transport, transport is easily available outside the NBP Nawanshehr. The receptionist whose name I believe is Shoib is extremely helpful, goes the extra mile, and ensures documents are complete. Highly appreciate.

Worst possible location imaginable. Govt offices are meant to be in places which are easily accessible to everyone. Those who came up with the idea of putting the passport office over there, need a proper mental checkup.

At a beautiful location but far from the main city, no proper roads. Also the token machine is there but not operational.

Had a very unpleasant experience. One staff member niaz Muhammad made things particularly complicated for us. An arrogant, irresponsible and a narcissist person. Will be forwarding a complaint to higher authorities.

The location of the office is in township Abbottabad, the office should be in the heart of the city or in a commercial place for easy access to the citizens but they build it in the corner of the city most of the people don't even know about that place, if you have your own car or expense then you just follow the map but if you're travelling local then it's a mess , there is no local transport available directly to the office, they dropped you 600 metres away from the road, so better take your own car/bike. The overall environment in the office is good , the staff is cooperative and responsive.

A digital token machine is available here at passport office which is still brand new with it's cover still on it not even used once. The person sitting in the corridor is providing number hand written manually on the submitted slips of bank and if there is any person who has a contact here in passport is given a number way before others. Pathetic service and no quality work. If the government has provided the facility of everything digitally then why there is a person here given hand written tokens to everyone. The authority should keep a regular check over this. Senior citizens are waiting for hours here. They should be given a separate counter for the process. I hope the government should take action over this and get the things done as it should be. Thank you

Who sets up a passport office in a village far from the city? The road is also very bad

Apart from the fact that passport office is far from all corners of the city and on top of that there is no phone number mentioned for them and the list of their address and phone number is the old one on Mansehra road. For God sake you can’t change your working attitude but at least put your phone number for public to get right information to come to your office.

It's high up on mountainish hill, but before you go there make sure to submit your fee challan at the foot of the mountain cuz otherwise it would be a waste of your time to go all the way up just to know you have to submit fee back at bazaar at the beginning of the month

A.O.A Everything is good but I want to ask to senior if anyone see my this review please can you tell me if we apply for passport and everything is done we go for collection that time my I'd is expired after renewal my I'd I go there and I your staff said we want to pay again 5k but why before we pay all the fee why we pay again

Though it is located far away from Abbottabad city, and the approach road is not fully constructed, the staff of the office more than compensated for these difficulties. Very well organized and efficient. Lots of appreciation to Mr. Irshad Afridi for his facilitation.
