We would like to take a moment to sincerely appreciate Mr. Shahbaz for his exceptional support and dedication. Mr. Shahbaz has consistently been very supportive, attending our calls even after 6:00 PM and extending his assistance on Saturdays whenever required. His commitment and customer-focused approach truly stand out. At Tokio Marine Insurance, our customers are extremely happy with the level of service provided. Recently, one of our customers met with a major accident involving vehicle number 97263. Despite it being after office hours, Mr. Shahbaz proactively supported us by coordinating and arranging to move the vehicle to the garage without any delay. Such dedication, responsiveness, and professionalism reflect the high standards of service and make a significant difference in customer satisfaction. Once again, we truly appreciate Mr. Shahbaz’s efforts and thank him for his continuous support.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tokyo Marine Insurance today. I visited their office located in Single business tower, Business Bay, for a business proposal on behalf of our international roadside assistance, towing, and recovery company. We simply wanted to introduce our services and requested a meeting with the Claims Manager or Underwriting Manager. Instead, a person named Abbas (Ghulam Abbas) came to meet us, and his behavior was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. From the beginning, he showed no interest in listening, did not allow us to explain our proposal properly, and his body language clearly showed he did not want to engage in any conversation. If the company was not interested, a simple and polite refusal would have been enough. What was more surprising was that even after being asked, he was not willing to clearly reveal his position within the company. This is not the right way to represent a professional organization like Tokyo Marine Insurance. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this interaction reflected very poorly on the company. I genuinely feel bad after this experience and expected much better professionalism and courtesy from such a reputed company.

I am writing to share my frustrating experience with your road assistance service. My 2007 Volkswagen Touareg broke down in Ajman. Since my insurance is with you, I am eligible for free road assistance. When I called the first time to confirm, I was told I had unlimited road assistance and that you could tow the car from Ajman to Dubai at no cost. However, when I called back to book the service, I was told the free service is only valid within Dubai and Sharjah. I had to pay out of my own pocket to take the car to Sharjah. Once in Sharjah, I called again to book the pickup. This time, I was told that you are only allowed to pick up and drop off at a garage, otherwise, I would be charged. I explained that I didn't have a garage yet and just needed the car moved to my home area until a mechanic was available. The agent on the phone eventually said that you could provide the free service to drop it at my home this time, but next time it would be charged. I agreed and released the private recovery driver I had paid 100 AED. While I was waiting at a nearby mosque, they called me back to say that upon checking, they were not allowed to drop the car at home and it absolutely must be a garage. I told the agent clearly that I am a Call Center Manager myself. If an agent does not know the information on the spot, they should place the call on hold and check with a manager or colleague before confirming with the client. Giving wrong information is unacceptable. Because of this misinformation, I ended up paying 300 AED total to get the car to Dubai. I had to hire a new recovery service because I had already released the first one based on your agent's confirmation. My whole day was wasted because of the lack of proper information given by your call center agents. The first agent didn't clarify that the service was only for Sharjah and Dubai. The second agent didn't clarify that a garage drop-off was mandatory. The third agent gave wrong information regarding the eligibility to drop off at home. I understand rules are in place to prevent abuse of the unlimited service, but these rules must be communicated correctly. You have wasted my time and money. I will definitely not be renewing with you, and I will be raising a ticket with Consumer Rights. UPDATE: They offered to tow my broken car... OUT of the garage? After posting my initial review, I received a call from their escalation team. They claimed to have "investigated" the recordings, yet they still refused to refund the 300 AED I was forced to pay because of their agents' wrong information. Instead, as a "goodwill gesture," they offered me a complimentary service: A free tow from the garage to my home. I was stunned by the lack of logic. I asked the agent: "If my car is at the garage, it is there to be fixed. Why would I want you to tow it back to my house?". It is exactly like transferring a sick patient from the hospital back to their home before they are cured. To make matters worse, I had to explain to them that my car is already fixed and parked at my house, so their "offer" is completely useless to me. I have offered to meet them halfway and settle for a partial refund of 150 AED (50% of my loss). They are currently "checking with management". If they do not call back to settle this reasonable request, I will be raising a formal complaint with Consumer Rights as soon as I have the time. I am keeping this review live and will continue to update it until this is resolved.

I do not recommend this insurance company . They will not listen to you and the issue; instead, they will do whatever the garage is telling them. They closed my complaint without resolving the issues. I kept my car for almost nine days for accident ( Non-faulty) repair of the right-side door. See the pictures of how they are working on new cars. Additionally, I got black paint spots on the left side till head light to driver door; the dent remains the same as it is inside the door. Scratches were not removed properly.

UPDATE 2: Now they are hiding behind "Bureaucracy" They called me back again, and it gets worse. After admitting their agents gave me wrong information three separate times, they are now refusing to process the refund because I don't have a formal paper receipt from the private recovery driver. I was stranded on the side of the road! I had to flag down a private recovery truck because their service failed me. These drivers do not carry invoice books. It is common sense. They admit the mistake is theirs. They admit I incurred a cost. But they are hiding behind "company policy" demanding a receipt that they know doesn't exist for emergency roadside help. I told them clearly: Do not call me back unless it is to confirm the refund. Since they want to play games over 150 AED (which was already a compromise from me), I am now filing a formal complaint with Consumer Rights for the full 300 AED plus damages for the immense amount of time they have wasted. Final Verdict: They will waste your time, give you wrong information, and then hide behind paperwork to avoid taking responsibility. Stay away.

3rd class insurance becouse Last week, my car got into an accident in Sharjah and my car is under Tokyo Insurance. I sent them the police papers for verification. They told me to go to a workshop and submit it. We will approve the quotation. Your car will be repaired. It was full insurance. It is written in their full insurance that they will take me on car rental as long as the car is in their workshop. I have been calling them for three days now. One of them is 👉Miss Sheikhs👈 and the other is 👉Ayesha Ali👈. I spoke to them and they promised that you will get the car within 24 hours. Today is the third day. If you do not get the car, when you call, they do not pick up. If you do pick up, they put it on hold. And today, I have been calling them all day. These people did not pick up my call. I think they blocked my number. I tell everyone not to get insurance for Tokio. This is a big fraud group that makes agreements with you. They don't fulfill it. I will post all these comments and about them on social media including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram because I have one million followers of my own. I will show everyone that don't follow him, don't get insurance from him, you will get good insurance from him.

The worst poor pathetic unprofessional behaviour i have experienced in my life. I have comprehensive insurance & car was in my home parking. One commercial vehicle has destroyed my car. Accident happened on 20th November 2023 & today 19th Jan 2024. TMNF is giving such pathetic service. 5 days i am waiting reply they are not answering even on the official email. The reason of this review is to aware all users who ever want to buy insurance never take from tokio as i am paying them from 3 years with zero claim this is first time i need their help & they are not bothering to sort out the problem even after 2 months. They want me to give up only. But i will go to authorities. Even i have started to repair the car on my own. But will not spare them as they are taking my hard earned money every year for zero service only.

I had taken comprehensive insurance from them. Although I was non faulty party they were not able to fix my accidental mechanical damages also under the name of it was because of wear and tear. As per them the broken axel is because of wear and tear not because of accident. The surveyor came and did the survey in their favor neglecting my concerns. I dint even drive the car to see the damages

This isnt about tmnf. Its about the recovery service. This person left me stranded in the road and dint tow my vehicle claiming tat my car cant go right and left as the steering is locked. My doubt is his pickup can go slight right and align to my vehicle which he didnt even think of. My car is in neutral and can go front and back if towed. Jus wanted to share this experience.

أسوأ شركة تأمين طوكيو .ماعندهم خدمات ولا تواصل .عندي تأمين شامل وحصل حادث وانا متضرر . وللآن مر شهر وسيارتي متعطله ما صحلوها .رغم ان إصلاحها على حساب تأمين شركة المتسبب بالحادث وانا متضرر . وفي وثيقه التأمين البند ينص على توفير سيارة إيجار لغايه تكون سيارتي جاهزه وتوفير خدمه الطريق .وما قدمو ولا خدمه للآن. سيئه جدا

I had the most frustrating experience with Tokio Marine Insurance in Dubai. Their employees are incredibly irresponsible. I’ve tried calling multiple times, but nobody picks up the phone. When they do, I end up being put on hold for what feels like an eternity. I’ve left messages, but they never reply. And when I finally get through, the information provided is either incomplete or just flat-out incorrect. It’s impossible to get any proper assistance from them. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable for an insurance company, and I’m extremely disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go with a more reliable provider. Tokio Marine has proven to be a waste of time and energy.

Update:- there is no use of my feedback everyone should know that this company will do what they want since my car is not fully repaired for reference I am uploading live imagesyou can see the steering oil leak of my car. Even one star is too much for this company. My car was involved in an accident on the 21st of June, and today is the 8th of August. Now they are saying they will only pay for the rental car for 15 days. On the very next day after the accident, I spoke to a customer service agent who clearly said they would cover the rental cost of 70 AED per day until the car is delivered. Now they are saying something completely different. This company is truly fraudulent.

I have been a loyal customer of Tokio Marine car insurance for the past three years because of the excellent benefits and service I previously experienced. This year, I reached out to a representative named Leizel via WhatsApp to confirm that the benefits of my renewal policy would remain the same. To my surprise, her response was not only unprofessional but also extremely impolite. She informed me that I am not allowed to continue with Tokio Marine, which was shocking and unacceptable. As a paying customer, I have every right to ask questions and ensure the benefits match my expectations. I was not asking for anything unreasonable or free, only for the clarity and respect I deserve. This experience has left me extremely disappointed. The behavior I encountered is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It has completely changed my perception of Tokio Marine. After this, I will not be renewing my policy or returning as a customer in the future. I truly hope Tokio Marine takes incidents like this seriously, as no customer deserves to be treated this way.

It has been 4 months since I cancelled my insurance in April and I still haven’t received my refund. The company is deliberately creating endless bureaucracy, forcing me to sign countless documents. On top of that, even after I submitted every required document more than 2 weeks ago, their management is intentionally refusing to sign them and process the refund. This is unacceptable. They are clearly stalling and avoiding their obligations.

I really don’t know from where to start. Got an accident on 15 of march and till now i have no update about my car. There r 2 common people who answers the call whenever u call the Tokio Marine insurance. Khaled and Nora, but none of them gives u the right information. Nora made me feel as she is doing a sort of a favor on me. In the accident am not at fault, my car is Porsche and they provide me rent a car which is Nissan Sunny. And the hype of this is one of the best insurance company really made me think it was a wrong choice to take this company. Overall am very disappointed by this company and i do not recommend this seriously.
