This place boasts magnificent views of Fateh Sagar Lake. There is a slight issue with traffic noise (as you can hear in the video) since the road runs very close to your right when you’re seated facing the lake. The setup is neatly done, with a store selling Rajasthani clothing, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Service is fairly decent—you just need to work a little to get the server’s attention 🙂. Now, the food. It seems they’ve assumed everyone comes only for the view and have therefore decided to part ways with a good chef. I ordered Laal Maas on recommendation. Being from Rajasthan, I know what Laal Maas is—and this certainly wasn’t it. The masala was disappointing, the meat was tough, and to quote a certain Mr. Ramsay: “This goat was definitely stared at by Medusa.”

Raaj Bagh offers a pleasant ambiance with a beautiful view and comfortable seating that makes it perfect for a relaxing outing. The service was good and prompt. I only tried the coffee—it was decent, though not exceptional. Still, the overall atmosphere made the visit enjoyable. A great place to sit back, relax, and unwind. Would love to return and try more from the menu. Full marks for the view and vibes!

The Perfect Year-End candle light Meal at Raaj Bagh!! Awesome food !! We spent our year-end at Raaj Bagh Restaurant, and it couldn't have been better. Being part of the Ramprakash Fateh Hotel, it sits right on the edge of the water, offering one of the best perspectives of Fateh Sagar Lake we've seen. The experience was defined by true Rajasthani hospitality. The food was tasty, the mocktails were crisp, and the setting felt private and peaceful despite being a popular spot. Mr. Vikram deserves a shout-out for his excellent service; he was so attentive and kind, which really elevated our evening. Whether you have kids in tow or are looking for a quiet date night, this place hits the mark.

We recently visited this beautiful restaurant located right beside Fateh Sagar Lake and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely perfect , a huge open garden with outdoor seating arrangements that give you stunning views of the lake. When we went for lunch, the weather made it even more magical with a slightly cloudy sky and a pleasant cold breeze. The food was very good, fresh, and served promptly. The pricing was quite reasonable, especially considering the prime location and the overall ambience. Dining here felt less like a restaurant visit and more like an experience sitting in the open air, overlooking the lake, and enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. It’s definitely a must-visit if you want to enjoy not just good food, but also the charm of Fateh Sagar Lake and the refreshing vibe of an open-air garden restaurant. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful experience at Raaj Bagh Restaurant by Fateh Collection. The food was delicious, the lake view was absolutely stunning, and the ambience was perfect for a relaxing meal. The beautiful setting by the lake made the experience even more memorable. A special thanks to Chirag for his outstanding hospitality and attentive service. What a location! On the Fateh sagar lake… a huge property with really good food and ambience. Enough parking place is available.. at a short drive from Fateh sagar lake.

Worst service experience in udaipur, i went there specially for laal mas on recommendation of friend but it was not worth. No service at all, i visited single so they ignored me all the time from the order taking to billing. Even if i walked without billing nobody was there to stop me. Worst place no manners to staff and manger also. Don’t Visit this place.

We had our breakfast and dinner here from 10-Aug-2025 to 12-Aug-2025. Food is good. Location is sooooper with lake view. Maintainance is good. Polite behaviour of staff. We also have a small shop here, which has almost all the verities we are getting in local market almost the similar price of market. We stayed at hotel which belongs to same restaurant group.

Excellent lake view restaurant and great food.

Food is just okay - not great. But location is simply awesome. Right besides Fateh Sagar, place has good vibes. They have good seating space available both inside and outside. The garden seating gives you a beautiful view of the lake in all its glory which is the USP of this place. Food wise it’s very mediocre. For the price that you pay, food is not upto the mark. It definitely could be better. We had ordered- Dahi anjeer kebab - this was good Navratan korma - tooo sweet. Not worth Gobhi adraki - alright Dal makhni - not great Pudina paratha Lachha paratha Lemon water - good Service is slow. Staff is helpful and good. Vibes of the place are good. Ambience wise it’s a great place. Situated in the prime locale, it gets fair share of tourists. Overall an okay place.

The most hospitable restaurant! They allowed our dog in as well, and the food and ambience were amazing. However the hospitality by Sushilkumar and Parvatsingh took the cake!

The overall experience was disappointing. The food was bad in both taste and quality, and the service was very poor, with an unreasonably long wait time for our order. The only saving grace was the lake view and the drinks, which were decent. Otherwise, not worth visiting again.

We tried gatta curry and laccha pranthas ,honestly the food was average gatta was soft& tender with mild spices may due to foreigners. They offer both open and closed dining areas, along with a small pool. The food quality was good, and the pricing was comparable to that of a 3 or 4-star hotel. Additionally, it is conveniently located right next to Fatehsagar Lake, with the boating point being only 1 km away. You can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy nature while at this location. However, while the atmosphere and setting are excellent, the food is just okay—nothing extraordinary. If you're looking for a place with stunning views and a tranquil vibe, this is a great choice, but if food is your priority, you might find it average.

Disappointed with both the food and service. We ordered stuffed chicken breast, but what was served included one breast piece and one leg piece - not what we ordered. Instead of mashed potatoes (usually how it comes), we were served hash browns. When we pointed this out, the waiter dismissively claimed “this is how it comes”, as if we wouldn’t know the difference between chicken breast and leg. We had to call the chef, who also initially defended it, and only after some back and forth did they finally agree to change the dish. Adding to the unpleasant experience, a group of guests were playing loud music on their portable speaker, completely disturbing the dining ambience. Surprisingly, no staff member intervened or tried to maintain a decent atmosphere for the rest of the guests. Overall, the lack of basic professionalism and courtesy from both the staff and management left us quite disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a place with good service or a peaceful meal.
