Perambur Post Office

Perambur India Post Office is a good place for basic postal and banking services. They also provide Aadhaar services and AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System). The staff are polite and helpful. I visited for a banking service, and my work was completed quickly without much waiting. Usually, the crowd is not too much, so the process is smooth. Overall, it's a good and convenient post office for banking and Aadhaar-related services.

Very disappointing experience at the India Post office in Perambur. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I called beforehand, they clearly said courier service was available, but after going there in person, they refused and said they don’t do it. There was no proper explanation, just careless and dismissive behavior. It felt like a complete waste of time and effort. Basic communication and customer service are seriously lacking here. Would not recommend this branch to anyone.

Really WORST, WORST, WORST. I went for courier shipping. Though It was not electric gadget but they declined it. And saying to open and show and i was ready to open and show and then i asked will you repack again? No answer from them and their behaviour was too bad. No proper support. No packing facilities. Few ladies staff are just sitting and talking in phone. Lazy staffs. Please don't waste your time going there.

No response from them and their behavior is soo poor

Initially, I was skeptical about this Post Office from reading all the reviews here. But when I went there, I was instead received with a smile at the service desk. Although the post office staff who was super busy, he took time to clarify my concerns. My time was brief here. I understand that there is always some bad govt. staffs in every Government Offices. But, one should also note that there are good people too. Be kind and polite and get your service done.

I visited the Perambur post office Aadhar Enrollment and update centre at 4.45 pm on Wednesday 8th May 2024 to update my mobile number. The staff were sitting idle chit-chatting and informed me that the centre was closed and told to come the next day at 10 am. These centres are supposed to work from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Obviously give this work to the Postal Department seems to be a mistake. Earlier in the day I visited Madhavaram and Kodungaiyur Sub-post office and was informed that staff was not available for doing the work.

Some staff are good and supportive and some are very worse than u believe. Need more friendly staff and supportive to people, even during the P.O closure time period. Since people need help in all times. Staff dialogue always "why can't u come early" 😀.

Zero response. High negligence. Worst customer relationship ever. Once they start working in Goverment, they think themselves as Goverment. Their response is the worst ever. Had a very bitter experience while going their for aadhar updation, the staff has zero knowledge about the procedure and the end her behavior is the worst ever i have experienced.

Friendly staff guide the people. It is usually crowded and difficult to reach the place as it is located away from main road.

Staff are little busy when I had visit,but any way I don't think they all not disrespectful but all d staff who are all have age of 40-50,so mostly they don't make mistakes and as well as they know very well about manners

My parcels were damaged and when I wanted to complaint the post master is not available. Almost 3 hours she is on break. Does government gives this much hrs break time. Very worst.

Person named jho is polite and it cooperate well for senior citizens fixed deposit. Aslo updated aadhar

All the staffs in counters and backside sitting staff all r lazy gooses. Always drinking tea,and talking in thier mobiles.vaangara salarykku vaelai seiyallainaa unga children naasamaa poidum.

Frankly saying, never try to go there regarding updation of Aadhaar details. There will keep answering you that no persons are alloted and better to try some other offices... This is the experience I had there...

Employees don't know how to behave with customers.Always slow service. System either will be slow or repair. Nearly 3 times visited just for entry but still their system is not rectified

Still I will not receive my speed post more than 5 days no response very worst service

Frequent net connection problem. Many times computers work slowly. Increasing artificial crowd. Some times functions with less staff.(9.2.2022)
