We came here for dinner, and it was amazing! The stand out was the vegetable pakora, and their tomato special sauce, these two combined with their house pickled onions was Devine! The overall vibe of the restaurant was very calming and a welcome break from the constant huddle and bustle of inner Kathmandu. The manager was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying everything.

Had dinner here and this place is very relaxing, great service, great menu and food. Beautiful seating area to really relax and enjoy your meals. Waiter was efficient and friendly. Had a great time. Don’t have any pictures, was just having a great time enjoying the place to take photos!

Such a lovely spot in Kathmandu with delicious Nepalese food and a really stylish vibe. The garden is amazing, green, quiet, and super chill, a perfect escape from the busy streets. The dishes felt fresh and full of flavor. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to and spend more time.

A very good restaurant to taste local food in Kathmandu, the place is a beautiful garden away from the hustle and bustle of Thamel but very close! The food is great, the oriental platter is a must try. I celebrated my last night in Nepal and had a very nice talk with the manager. Very much recommended!

Very pleasant place to have a get together with the loved ones. One of the peaceful restaurants in the hustle and bustle Thamel area. Perfect place for both breakfast to Dinner. By the name itself u feel like you are in the garden while having the delicious foods. I believe it to be Bhutanese food restaurants coz the many items in the menu are the Bhutanese dishes. You can have both the alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks in a calm and cozy environment.

Everything was great! The man who served us was really kind and helpful! We definitely recommend it! Also, live music in a great yard!

Waren schon 2019 hier und wurden auch dieses mal nicht enttäuscht. Erstklassige Nepali / Bhutan - Küche, fantastischer Service. Wirklich ein Geschmackserlebnis, beste Zutaten, die "Oriental Platter" gibt einen guten Mix verschiedener Spezialitäten, die hausgemachten Würste "Gyuma" waren sensationell. Auch die anderen Gerichte hervorragend. Das Ambiente ist sehr gepflegt & entspannt. Preislich für Nepal- Verhältnisse hoch angesiedelt, aber Service / Ambiente / Auswahl / Qualität rechtfertigen die Preise. Ganz klare Empfehlung, hebt sich von anderen Optionen ab.

We had a memorable special day celebration at Dechenling. It's a garden-themed restaurant situated at the heart of Thamel, yet secluded. A glass of fine shiraz, juicy momo and the best of all, bodell or wild boar. It's worth all the reviews! Shall visit again for sure.

Nice atmosphere and waiter. Ordered the Thentuk soup. Noodles and broth were pretty good but the meat was almost inedible - so dry and overcooked it was hard to swallow. Would not dine here again unless I stick to Veggies only.

Our server might have just been having a rough day, or maybe he naturally has a RBF. Either way, he didn’t smile once the entire time. That aside, their stir fried paneer is one of the best I have had in town. Great atmosphere and a solid spot overall!

Chicken lollipop et potatoes in hot garlic sauce franchement .... Bien servi mais la même sauce douce style ketchup sucré salé. Prix élevés par rapport à ce qu'on mange. Jardin agréable malgré une musique d'ambiance d'ascenceur. Bref halte vacant pour le jardin et un expresso.

Perfecto! Lo encontramos gracias a Lonely Planet y la verdad que un acierto. Fuimos en dos ocasiones y en ambas degustamos platos completamente distintos. El precio es algo elevado en comparación con otros locales de la ciudad, pero en mi opinión lo merece. La comida exquisita y la atención también. Si algún día volvemos a Katmandú, seguro que hacemos una parada aquí!
