Vivanta Vijayawada, MG Road

My experience here was really nice Overall, I loved the place and the food here. Surprising great breakfast. Could you a little bit of improvement but overall it was nice and the service was also really nice and quick and they were pretty polite. The room is good. It’s decently spacious. And the gym and pool were also good, though the gym was a bit rudimentary but it had all of the essentials over. I think it’s a really good hotel in Vijayawada. It’s located in the prime area, so you can reach any place pretty quickly. I personally enjoyed the hot chocolate and egg biryani and brownie with ice cream.

We attended a dinner hosted by BBG Investment Group & Real Estate at Vivanta Vijayawada, and it was a wonderful experience. The venue ambience was classy and comfortable, and the dinner spread was delicious with a good variety of options. It was great interacting with Hema Sundar, along with Jyothi, Sanjana, and Kishore, who made the evening more engaging. A special appreciation to Jyothi Prakash for adding valuable insights and clarity during the discussions. Overall, it was a well-organized and memorable gathering.

The hotel is bang on MG road and the accessibility to all the major shopping and places of interest make this a great location. The staff are friendly and warm. The rooms are well furnished and more importantly clean. The AC is very powerful in this AP heat and there is also a fan which I loved. The breakfast was really good. The toilets are very clean.

Our stay was extremely disappointing, especially after the name change from Gateway to Vivanta. The service quality has gone down drastically. • There was no welcome drink provided; we had to ask for it. • During the New Year night dinner, veg and non-veg items were mixed, and there were no name tags to identify which dishes were vegetarian or non-vegetarian. • We requested snacks around 4:00 PM, but they were served only at 5:30 PM, which is unacceptable. • At breakfast, we found paper in the watermelon juice, which is very unhygienic. • At tonight’s dinner, there were no proper vegetarian options, even though we prefer veg food only: • No veg noodles • No veg curries • No fruits • Most food items were finished by 9:30 PM, and the staff did not refill dishes. • All plates were empty, and refilling was done only after repeatedly asking, and that too after most guests had completed dinner. Overall, the service standards are far worse than before. After changing the name from Gateway to Vivanta, the experience has become very poor. Gorgeous property, delectable food, superlative service. We came to stay out of convenience and extended our stay for sheer pleasure. The breakfast, with everything was an absolute delight. It was really mind blowing experience we all have. Every parts of menu was excellent. Ambience, hospitality of the entire staffs was excellent. Floor was managed by Mr Joseph was really excellent. His caring for every customer was fantastic.

In the heart of the city on Bandar Road, there is the vivanta formerly Gateway Hotel. While the rooms are good, the minibar was surprisingly empty. One wouldn't expect a major brand like this to run out of stock for minibar items. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was good and featured several live counters.

Over 3 nights stay we changed 3 room because every room has flaw. Bathroom doors are not getting locked. Water doesn't drain. Smoke smell rooms. Delayed room service. Worst taj hotel we stayed. Gym and pool are not mentionable.

It was nice experience staying in Vivanta Vijayawada. Service was little disappointed because the coffee mug given was not cleaned, complimentary tea bag are not upto the standard. Food in the restaurant is yummy as we tried italian cuisine. Complimentary breakfast was nice with lots of varieties hich helped us to choose according to our taste.

The rooms are ok and are probably made a long back. However the stay was comfortable and the breakfast had reasonably good options.

We booked 2 rooms for our stay for 2 days and everything since we arrived seemed not in place. Valet were present but no one ready to approach (despite calling them), until I left the car in drive way and started walking inside. Ordered coffee and had to follow up twice before it arrived over 30 min later, and the coffee was COLD. We decided to have buffet dinner at ground floor restaurant around 8pm, and everything there was COLD again. Every item that was supposed to served or eaten hot was COLD including the soups. Next morning though we were skeptical, we had breakfast and again all items were COLD. The good part is people were nice and warm.

Hotel is good for stay but don't waste your money on breakfast inclusion. The buffet breakfast was cold, the live counter gave us oily yet undercooked poori and after waiting 20 min (with multiple reminders) we got cold cappuccino. Very disappointing.

Hi everyone, I recently coordinated a corporate event at the hotel, and while the venue and facilities were good, my experience with the Hotel AV vendor assigned to the event was quite disappointing. During the preparation and setup phase, the vendor’s communication was not professional. There were instances where the tone of conversation was raised, and certain remarks were made questioning our role as event managers and referring to the event as a “small event.” Regardless of the size of the event, every event represents a business opportunity and deserves the same level of professionalism and respect. In addition, it was often difficult to reach the vendor for coordination, and responses were inconsistent. At critical moments close to the event timeline, the communication felt dismissive and uncooperative, which made the coordination process stressful. As event managers who regularly handle corporate conferences and meetings, we expect mutual respect and smooth communication from all stakeholders involved. Even on the event day, the final execution of the setup did not fully meet expectations, which was disappointing given the amount of coordination required beforehand. I am sharing this feedback so that the hotel management can take note and ensure that vendors associated with the venue maintain a professional approach when dealing with clients and event teams. A respectful and cooperative working environment makes a huge difference in delivering successful events.
