SBI Branch East Street Pune

Pathetic. Worst person sitting on counters. Shri Bhalekar named person is very rude. Requested only for first page of PPF passbook Bhalekar said NO. Then asked about withdrawal eligibility from PPF ac. He said fill in withdrawal form then only he can tell me amount. What is this nonsense?

Terrible service, terrible systems that don't work, rude staff. I name it sick bank for india

I am sharing this feedback purely out of my gratitude for the current branch manager Mr. Snehal who have helped me through the process of attaining NOC certificate for my car while I am in a different city. He promptly provided me with all the documents and made sure that I receive the originals as well. I am very thankful for his help and support saving me from a lot of expenditure and efforts to get those otherwise! Thank you 🙏

I had very positive experience with Mr. Mayur Kamat Ex. Branch Manager of SBI East steet branch Pune. He was always kind,co-operative and very helpful during his service in East street branch. I am so sad when I came to know that he has been transfred to other branch in Pune. I wish him all the best for his future asignments with SBI.

I have been cheated by a scam for Rs.2000/- on 8th Feb 2025, have visited the bank Mr. Bhalekar who advise me to contact the cybercrime. but no details are given to me to register the complaint my account is freeze and I can't withdraw the balance amount, the helpline no are always out of service, such a repeated bank have no security on customer's account.

For opening account they told me it takes two days but it's one week is going on but no calls and news front them. Tomorrow without any news I need to go there and ask what happened for 5 days

We had a very positive experience with State Bank of India East Street Branch Pune recently. The present manager Mr.Mayur Kamath was so professional and very positive, went far and beyond the call of his normal duty in responding and helping us to open new account and dealing with our NRI formalities! Worst experience ever... This bank should shut down if they cannot cater to customer satisfaction. Especially the older employees must be replaced. There are so many young candidates jobless , give them preference and tell these senior citizens to sit at home if they cannot work efficiently. Slow India due to slow employees.

We have been banking with SBI for decades. Even though there are so many customers to attend to, I have always found the staff to be cooperative and helpful. Worst experience for senior citizens they keep waiting for hours while the employees are wasting time chatting. It seems SBI hires under qualified employees. Better to open account with ICICI or Axis for good customer service

I was medically indisposed & wanted to apply for a duplicate Debit card & Internet P.wd. When I spoke to the Mgr over the ph, she suggested, I could apply for Door Step Service, send someone with an authority letter or if U could be brought outside the Branch & give her a call, she wd come herself or send one to do the needful. Sure enough, when I landed there, everything was done clockwork. I was truly impressed by the attention given. Positive Attitude in an org starts from TOP-DOWN!!

Pathetic service. Being government bank they don't care for their customers. Staff has lack of knowledge. If you ask them something they will send you to another desk and keep doing same for 3 to 4 times. Government take taxes from us for every things. No forms in banks are processed without processing fee. I think government banks like SBI should focus on their customer services as well. They really need to learn something from banks like HDFC , Citi

Experienced a chaotic situation at the SBI East Street Pune branch today. It was really pathetic, had gone to withdraw cash via check today. The lady at the counter was not giving out withdrawal tokens to anyone, saying the branch manager had instructed her and asked people in line to ask branch manager why this was the case. When customers questioned the bank manager, he said he had no clue what is going on and was of no help. It seemed the branch manager was helpless and unable to do his job. They should either fire this branch manager or just close down this branch if they cannot service their customers.

I would request all the customers of sbi if have any chance u can switch to any small bank or pathpedhi plz switch to that. These sbi workers r worst that path pedhi bankers no profesionalism they will reply u like u r begger and u r asking some food from them. Worst experiance i have acc whith HDFC AXIS ICICI and even UNION BANK but never felt like that i am soon closing my account whith them specially east street branch.

Mr Shende the manager of timber market branch was excellent.....I tried to find that exact branch online but couldn't....so maybe I'm reviewing a wrong branch...but still cause I promised him I'll review his branch... My iphone was stolen on 4th Nov 2021 in pune...I believed it was still on without lock when stolen...and I had my yono app there along with my password stored on Google keep notes...so foolish of me...And being Diwali everybody including Airtel were on holiday so I couldn't even block my sin....thank god sbi needs otp for everything... On sixth ie Saturday there wasn't holiday for bank... although it was bhaidooj...and as I was staying in camp I went to nearest branch ie timber market... Well inspite of holiday season.. Mr Shende the manager and Mr Sharma were there... Who very cordially Heard my problem...put an hold on a very large amount in my account...and even accepted to take a written letter to remove that hold at a later date..whfn my password problems are solved....and on Monday the eighth..I called Mr Shende and he removed the hold at my instruction....wow never thought such an honourable officer and such efficient branch can exit anywhere in India...thank you Shende saheb ...Varma saheb...thnx SBI

very prompt service from SBI . I request interest cert via call and email to this branch . got it online on same day . Thank you very much . Very much happy with prompt service . Loam load from SBI is best . no hidden charges . got benefit of PMAY as well . For home loan go with SBI only .

My worst experience with SBI East Street Branch . The Manager never responds to your calls. The Branch phone is always switched off/ inactive. This inspite of holding several FDs with the Branch.

This is pathetic service experience in this bank. No body bothers. No one responds.No one answers calls Including Manager of the bank. I request all customers not to open any account with this bank or don't get associated with this Branch atleast. Pathetic service, worst level of staff who doesn't bother customer. Those who have account shift their account from here
