Hygiene standards seem low - there were a lot of hairs and stains in the bedding, plus a lot of mould around the shower. Sleep quality is low due to the loud air-conditioning, sound isolation, rock-hard bedding and lack of blackout curtains. The location felt safe and lively until late into the evening, but there's not much happening in the area. You're a long way from downtown. The top floor of the hotel has an open-air terrace which gives a wonderful view across the city and the imposing mountain ranges encircling it. Other than the roof terrace, there are no facilities like a pool or gym. The breakfast is spectacular: it's basically the entire room service menu, from soup to pizza to brunch classics to typical breakfast food. Just the coffee was low quality, but the stroll to Giraffee Coffee is a rewarding experience for more than the beverages.
