Sheraton Colombo Hotel

The lounge was top-notch with a delightful spread of well-plated and delicious food, from hot dishes and canapes to pastries to fruits and more. Service by the lounge staff was great. Views of the ocean from the lounge were pristine. Gym was pretty comprehensive too, including cardio machines, a smith machine, dumbbells and standard machines like chest press, leg press, and more. Rooms were well-designed with very comfortable beds and a decent view of the ocean. Where the hotel unfortunately falls short was in the check-in. Hotels normally provide the hotel cards in a little paper holder. While I am one for sustainability, I found it a little surprising that when we checked in, the front desk staff was using a little eraser to erase the numbers from the previous user of this paper holder and then writing our room number in. What’s worse was that the edges of the paper holder was grungey and bent. Definitely did not seem inspiring nor very clean. 5-star hotels normally provide a set of face towels, medium towels and then bath towels. They did not provide face towels. If they solve the two minor but glaring issues, then they can be a smooth impressive 5-star experience. Overall, I had a very good stay here!

We had an amazing stay at the Sheraton Colombo Hotel. Despite arriving late in the afternoon feeling quite tired from a long journey, we were warmly welcomed by the staff right away. They kindly assisted us with our luggage and ensured that our check-in process was smooth and efficient, which we truly appreciated. The lounge experience was exceptional. The service, food, and beverages were all outstanding, and the staff were incredibly attentive and professional throughout our stay. Our room was perfect—spotlessly clean, well-lit, and equipped with excellent amenities that made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, all prepared with great taste and quality. The dining area was spacious, peaceful, and quiet, and the staff were always attentive to our needs. We also truly appreciated the extra effort from the team when we had to check out early at 4 a.m. They thoughtfully prepared and packed breakfast for us, which was a wonderful gesture and definitely a big plus. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with warm, genuine smiles, making our stay even more memorable. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

My stay at the Sheraton Colombo was nothing short of perfect. From check-in to check-out, every detail was thoughtfully looked after. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, and the hotel's location is ideal—just minutes away from One Galle Face and many other key tourist spots. I absolutely loved the breakfast here; there was so much variety, and the pastries were exceptionally tasty. My absolute favorite part of the morning was having the hoppers with tomato curry! There are so many things about this hotel that stay with you long after you leave—from the fresh scent as you step into the lobby to the lingering memory of their delicious welcome beverage. Most importantly, though, is the staff and the service. Everyone was always smiling and incredibly kind. Even the General Manager, Paul, took the time to personally greet guests. It was a wonderful stay that truly felt like a home away from home. I cannot wait to go back!

I attended a workshop at the Sheraton Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The venue was well organized, and the hotel provided tea breaks and lunch throughout the event. The buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of soups, starters, main courses, and live-action stations. There was also an impressive selection of desserts to choose from. The tea breaks included a good variety of snacks and refreshments. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend the hotel for workshops, conferences, and events. Since i didn't stay there, i can not comments on the rooms

We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Colombo with my business partner, Mr. Forrest Wayne Reid. This visit was especially meaningful as it was our last night together before he departed Sri Lanka after spending 20 amazing days here. The experience overall was excellent. The breakfast was very good, with a great variety and quality, and the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and attentive, making our stay comfortable and welcoming. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after long days of travel and work. There was a small issue with the television cable connection, but it did not affect our overall experience, and everything else was handled very well. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Sheraton Colombo. The food was outstanding, especially the complete seafood buffet which had an impressive variety of fresh, delicious options. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making it a real treat for seafood lovers. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Their warm hospitality truly added to the overall experience and made us feel well taken care of. What stood out the most was the value for money — it was EXTREMELY worth it. For the quality, variety, and service offered, it exceeded all expectations. We would highly recommend Sheraton Colombo to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Colombo Hotel for 9 nights during our visit to Sri Lanka and had a fantastic experience. The location of this hotel was perfect for us. It’s just a short distance to Central Colombo and Galle Face The room which was an executive suite was immaculate, very modern, and featured an incredibly comfortable bed. We particularly enjoyed the view from our living room, bedroom and even our spacious bathroom What truly made our stay special was the service. The staff at the front desk, especially Sanduni, Isurika, Sandali, and the Concierge Shafan were welcoming and went above and beyond their call of duty to assist with our numerous reservations and appointments. Special thanks to the Front office manager Emil Gularatnam for the warm welcome. A big thank you to Sharjun our room attendant who always greeted us with a smile and helped us with our laundry and numerous requests. Meals at the restaurants were delicious with plenty of options. The servers, Yohan, Nimesh, Kaveen, Gayantha and Damith were only too happy to serve us. Also, a big thank you to chef Priyenci Neranjan who always asked for feedback on his special dishes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went for brunch from 12 noon to 3 pm and absolutely loved the variety of food available. The spread included everything from Sri Lankan to Western dishes. The seafood spaghetti from the pasta station was next level and definitely a highlight. They also had traditional Sri Lankan kavilis for desserts, which was a nice touch. From kiribath and appa to fried rice, noodles, and biriyani, there was something for everyone. Overall, a great brunch experience and highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed in this hotel in April 2026 and we found this hotel is excellent. From the reception staff were helpful and the restaurant offers a variety of international and local food. Members lounge is on a high floor with plenty food and nice view.

Superb place. From entrance to checkout it was great experience. I have been to many 5 star hotels and this stands out since check-in all of them were very hospitable should mention Brindsly and the staff from front desk, the F&B staff and house keeping too. Very attentive and quickly response. And thanks you for the surprise you all arranged along with my husband for my birthday. You guys made it a memorable day for me. Thank you so much and the cleanliness of the room and food shouldn’t forget. I recommend this place to anyone who’s trying to have a good day 🩷💖

Great hotel in Columbo. You will need a ride service from the Airport. I recommend Olanka tours as they have great service and cheaper rates than what Marriott offers. Rooms are standard, but that is a high Marriott standard. Great amenities such as pool, spa (legit), and restaurants. The kitchen breakfast buffet might be the best I have found at Marriott hotels. Super service, and so many choices. Get this added to your room! Pool is outside and pretty standard. We had a little glitch at check in, but this was quickly fixed. Must mention they have a rooftop bar that you can sit outside and watch the sunset from. Only better spot is the rooftop bar across the street.

We visited your brunch buffet on Sunday, 14 June, and unfortunately our experience ended with several disappointments. We understand there was a large event taking place that day with more than 100 additional guests, making the venue much busier than usual. However, we were allocated a table in a corner area where direct sunlight was coming in, and the air conditioning did not seem to reach that section, making it quite uncomfortable. When we went to the buffet area, many food items had already run out. At the Mongolian rice station, I ordered a bowl but was served only rice without any chicken or other ingredients. The staff member did not ask which ingredients I would like to include. The dessert section was also disappointing, as many items had finished, including the ice cream and puddings. Additionally, we had seen videos of the brunch buffet showing a variety of beverages being served, but those options were not available during our visit. We completely understand that the large event may have created operational challenges. However, our concern is why additional outside bookings were accepted if the venue was unable to maintain the expected buffet standards and service levels for all guests. Unfortunately, the brunch buffet was not worth the experience on that particular day, and we left feeling disappointed.

Excellent customer service. Spacious and modern rooms. Main restaurant Colombo kitchen serves a good and delicious spread. Roof top bar Bayu is has a beautiful view of the city at night. Overall it was a great stay.

Everything about Sheraton is great. The staff is helpful and courteous, buffet variety as well as the taste is amazing. The Sheraton club has a great variety of evening snacks. Rooms are spacious, clean and have amazing view. Loved the service overall. Never got disappointed.

The staff is amazing! Everyone from the reception to the buffet staff is so sweet, kind and always available for any request! Supun in particular is super super kind and gentle! I’ve been here so many time, and they always meet my expectations. I loved the dinner buffet setup during Women's Day on March 8, 2026. Every time I stay here I always see improvements. I stayed for one night on 14 January 2026 on a redemption booking, and the experience was truly outstanding. Dasuni from the reservations team took excellent care of my booking, and as a Titanium member, I was kindly upgraded to a spacious executive suite, a wonderful and much-appreciated surprise. I arrived early in the morning at around 9:00 AM, and Sanduni gave me a very warm welcome. Sanduni kindly invited me to relax in the Club Lounge while the suite was being prepared and thoughtfully followed up with housekeeping. Thanks to her efforts, the room was ready by around 12 noon, which I really appreciated. The suite itself was beautifully designed, offering a calming panoramic view of the city skyline, streets, and the ocean, absolutely stunning. As a Titanium member, breakfast was offered as a welcome gift. Breakfast at Colombo Kitchen featured an impressive variety of options, paired with consistently friendly and attentive service. I was especially grateful to Saman, Nimasha, Jithya, Enethra, Nadun, Navodya, Thenudi working in the F&B team, who took wonderful care of me from the moment I arrived until I left the restaurant. A special mention goes to the Front Desk and F&B team in the lounge, Sandali, Yohan, Gayantha, Kaveen, Saminda chef, Ama Chef. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made every interaction feel special. They went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I were comfortable, always greeting us with warm smiles and making sure everything was perfect. The Club Lounge on the 21st floor offered a great selection of hot and cold snacks, delicious desserts, and a breathtaking view. While the food and drinks were consistently excellent, what truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel both at home and genuinely valued as a guest. As always, it was a fantastic stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning in January 2027.

Stayed for 5 nights in March. Great location. Value for money. A luxury hotel in the heart of Colombo. Close to everything. Dining was a great experience with tasty quality food. Superb service all around. Tried the spa in May. Superb. Manori was a great therapist.

We had the best experience in the Sheraton Club Lounge thanks to Kaveen! He was always kind and attentive and always had a big smile on. We also truly appreciate kindness of Yohan and Warsha, thy made us feel very welcomed. The drinks, food selection and quality were also very impressive! Highly recommend:)

Sheraton Colombo is one of the finest Marriott hotels in the city. The hotel is well located, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The rooms are elegant, clean, and provide a relaxing stay. The staff are polite, attentive, and highly professional. Their warm attitude and efficient service made me feel welcomed and well cared for throughout my stay. The food was excellent, with the dinner buffet being a highlight. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Sheraton Colombo for both business and leisure travelers.
