Downtown Residency

Stayed here 5 nights for work, booked a suite and two double rooms. All rooms were comfortable and good value, the suite especially. Rooftop restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Fresh salad and tea were great, food overall was good throughout our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. One suggestion for management would be to get staff uniforms, would give the place a more professional look. Overall a good stay, 4 out of 5

I really liked the property, it has a safe feeling once you are inside, clean rooms, very cooperative and decent friendly staff, their food is good too. Highly recommend

I have visited Downtown Residency many times, and today I tried their chicken biryani for the first time. The taste was absolutely awesome , flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. Their Alfredo pasta is also one of the best in town, creamy and full of rich flavor. The service was excellent as always, and the ambiance of the place makes the dining experience even better. Definitely one of the best spots in Muzaffarabad!

We tried this place for the first time, and it truly exceeded our expectations ! The food was absolutely delicious full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The taste was awesome and every dish we tried was spot on. The service was also polite, quick and professional. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality, food and a great dining experience . Will definitely be coming back👍

First review, such a lovely hotel. First and most important point to be made is that it was so cleanand the service was incredible. Secondly, the food served was delicious too, and all fresh. We especially loved the mango juice, it was so nice and refreshing. The atmosphere was amazing. And kudos to the awesome (and creative) manager who treated us well. Really recommend it here.

EXTREMELY PATHETIC ! Ordered our menu for the dinner in advance in daytime but when we reached by 8 they made us wait for almost 2 hours for food ! Not even the drinks were served beforehand !! How much time does making drinks take even ? And the food was extremely bad . Morrocan steaks were just ketchup sauce . White pasta was old and dry . Chowmein lacked taste as well . Cashew nut chicken was also just ketchup sauce and raw rice ! ! Servers didn’t follow the way we asked for setting the dishes .. we had to share plates among other table our selves ! We were highly embarrassed infront of our guests ! After confronting the manager he said the cooks were on the leave !!? Then why did you not tell us earlier when we advance booked our dinner ?? TOTALLY WASTED OUR MONEY!! DONOT GO THERE FOR FOOD !!

The rooftop restaurant is very nicely setup. Food presentation is good. Staff is well behaved. I didn't like their mutton karahi but other items were well cooked and tasty. Overall a nice place to dine.

Nice small setup, neat and clean, perfectly maintained place. Appreciate the cooperation of staff, especially of Mr Fida Hussain, he would make sure the guests get attended and taken care of. Rooms are clean, comfortable and have all the necessary requirements. Enjoy the roof top cafe with beautiful view of Muzafarabad.

I had an outstanding experience at Downtown Residency for my guests. The staff was incredibly accommodating, professional, and provided exceptional service. My guests were pleased with the excellent treatment they received. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

Good hotel Nice rooms

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, heaters and warm water readily available , the decor is so modern and amazing . The staff is welcoming and properly trained. We couldn’t enjoy the rooftop restaurant as it was raining but all in all a fabulous hotel . We hope you guys will maintain the standard.

What can I say? Very poor food, literally there was no chicken in Alfredo pasta, spaghetti were without salt, I had cousins from lahore over and needless to say they were disappointed and letdown by this hotel. Pathetic service and food. Will never bring anyone back.

One of the best interiors in the town, simple and elegant. Located in the centre of the town, close to PM house and GoR, and has easy access. Has an indoor restaurant but the roof top one is more of an attraction. Has comfortable seating, and simple yet elegant decor. Food quality and taste varies for different dishes. I liked their snacks more than meals. Handis n karahis are good but Chinese food is not the best. Serving size is good. Menu is limited with not much of variety and even the listed items are not always available. If you want beef or mutton/goat meat, this is not the go to place. Paking is almost non-existent and road sides are used for the purpose. Indoor dining area is quiet and comfortable but beware of mosquitos on rooftop. Overall, a good addition in the existing facilities in the town

Excellent hotel with excellent interior . Every thing was Mater piece. Service was awesome. Free breakfast was awesome. Rooftop restaurant food was excellent. Thanks to GM and staff for services. Even not find this kind of hotel in whole muzafarabad. Thumbs up.

Beautiful place to stay in Muzaffarabad. This boutique hotel provides a beautiful environment for you to stay just a few KM away from the city center and all the major road connections. This place has a very beautiful roof top restaurant provided with beautiful decor where you can have your food or coffee or simply a chaye in elegance and peace.

Downtown Residency is an awesome place to stay in Muzaffarabad. They have 2 categories of rooms, executive and club and their rates vary form 12k to 16k per night (a bit higher but no other hotel provides this type of services in this price range). They have indoor as well as roof top restaurants too. Located near PM House so it's one of the safest places in Muzaffarabad Jalalabad.

Absolutely loved my stay. The staff is very courteous and the hotel is soo stylish and modern. Definitely the best out there. Had dinner and breakfast at their rooftop restaurant and it was fabulous.
