Hotel is located in the heart of the city. Though the streets are crowned and busy we didn't feel the noise. Lakhota lake is 10 mins walking from the hotel. The rooms were decent, big and clean. Value for money as it's budget friendly. Restaurant in the hotel was too expensive for the amount they charged. People have options eatery around the hotel if they want to opt for.

President is a very good hotel in the center of city. Rooms are very spacious and with all needed facility for someone to stay. We spent 2 nights here. Being from wildlife area, we have some very unique demands like need facility like tea hot water pretty early morning (3AM etc), the hotel staff never complained and provided the same. They have hot water facility for 24X7 which is another plus for wildlife people. We did not try their restaurant, but people said it is good. The staff is really good and polite, informative and helpful. Being in center of city is a big plus.

Amazing hotel at the heart of Jamnagar which has become an integral part of the birding in Jamnagar. If you are in Jamnagar for birding/bird photography this is the place to stay. It's an old hotel on the main street with nice rooms. There is a restaurant where you can dine in or order from. Laundry service is available. Parking spaces are there right in front of the hotel. The staff are very nice and the service is great. I have been there multiple times. It's very close to the lakhota lake. There are many shops and markets around the hotel and it is always bustling with activities and the spirit of Jamnagar.

This hotel is at a prime location. Market, restaurants, street shopping etc. everything is in close proximity. The rooms are decent and the staff is very helpful. They will carry your luggage for you.

The hotel is in prime location of city, they are having very good and big rooms. But in my room there was a problem with shower. There was no tap to use shower. Also the food price were too high. Overall good for stay.

Poor service by hotel and restaurant staff.Staff at restaurant's is very rude. No manners to talk with customer. In food order they make same mistakes everyday and when you made complaints they dont like you. FOOD smells bad sometimes. HOT water for shower is the biggest issue in winter time. They have all good manners and respect for foreigners. Felt discrimination due to my Indian citizenship. Now i am sure they will not reply to my review.

Okay, so in terms of hotel quality, it is a great place to be. We had a non-AC room and the room was much clean and well managed beyond my expectations. The bathroom was quite neat and clean with hot water facility in all the rooms. The food and tea was amazingly good. Loved it. Although they had couple of items not available even when they were in the food menu. So, one needs to be flexible with respect to the food choice. Room service was prompt. The staff was well behaved mostly. Now, the harassment part: We (I and my wife) booked the hotel through their email id from which we received the confirmation about the booking along with check-in/check-out timings, tariff, cancellation policy, IDs having address proofs and right to admission. We reached the hotel on time and provided our driving licenses as photo IDs. The dumb receptionist, challenged that the surnames in our IDs did not match. Obviously, because we got our licenses and most of our photo IDs at the age of 18 and we were not "Balika Vadhu" fans. He refused entry citing that we need to prove that we are married as it was police order. On asking if he has any written order by Police, he did not have any. I asked what was the name of the inspector who gave you this order - he did not have any idea on that either. I asked what is the reason for giving entry only to married couples? He just said Police orders. Luckily we were carrying our marriage certificate for some other purpose and produced that and were given the room keys after. However, this was such a harassment we have never had in any other hotel in India. Hotel President folks need to mention "categorically" to all their customers in their confirmation mail that if the visitors are married, they should bring along their marriage certificates otherwise they can be denied the entry.

Nice hotel in the heart of the city. It's location covers main areas of City. Hotels service is good. Food can be improved a bit. Accessibility to pwd is not good. Although parking area is available for your car. Overall good for dinner etc

One of the very famous and remarkable hotel of Jamnagar. service provided by the staff in this hotel is also very appreciated and a world class status. The cost price according to the service is also very satisfactory. Situated in the heart of the city of Jamnagar Gujarat. variety of AC non AC rooms are available here at a very reasonable price for different type of customers. Very well maintained parking facility is also available on the ground floor of this hotel. In my opinion it is very good to stay here if you come to Jamnagar

Superb attitude response of ,Hotel President owner and staffs location environmental convenient in the center of the city

Visited here for lunch. No doubt the meal was wonderful and finger licking good, but there was limited staff available due to which even the selection from the menu was limited. Would applaud the management as the restaurant was not functional but since they came to know that we were traveling and were not regulars, they accomodated us and served us with a smile. One star less because I would visit this place once again and then provide a full review.

"Chutiya place to stay in a non ac room stayed twice but not although price is low on make my Trip but the way hotel serves non a/c room will boost down their business for a/c rooms which may be better i have never stayed in those. Well food is fine.. not excellent and be aware no room service for food aftet 10.30 pm so choose tour destination precisely if you are looking for enjoying the night. Have just returned from another delightful stay at Hotel President of just under a week. It is always a joy to stay here & quite a welcoming feel when management & staff greet you like old friends. As always, nothing is too much trouble for the personnel at Hotel President to sort any issues. In one instance, we needed our room tidying on three separate occasions in one day (we were there for a family wedding) and had to have constant trips to & fro to the hotel to change between various functions & the staff was happy to oblige in tidying up the room 3 times in one day. The food at the restaurant is totally delicious! And the personal touch by the staff as in remembering your preferred drinks when you visit the 2nd time etc. Thank you to all at Hotel President, it was a pleasure to stay again & already looking forward to our next visit. 

The hotel location and service were very good. Food quality and taste ok. Summer time room airconditioner not working properly. Overall average.
