Pushkar City

Good place, divine destination. The City is set on Pushkar Lake, a sacred Hindu site with 52 ghats where pilgrims bathe. The town has hundreds of temples, including 14th-century Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, dedicated to the god of creation, which has a distinctive red spire and walls inlaid with pilgrims silver coins.

Pushkar fue sin duda un pueblo que nos encantó en India, es un poco turístico, pero tiene sus rutas para adentrarte en el pais de verdad. Desde la terraza del hostel vimos una boda, fuimos de curiosos a mirar, nos invitaron a pasar, a ir al tercer día de boda. Los indios son muy acogedores con los extranjeros, en la boda se hicieron miles de fotos con nosotros, había mucha comida deliciosa, me invitaron a fumar la pipa, etc. Los hombres en un lugar y las mujeres en otro, escenografía para concierto de rock, pudimos hacer muchas preguntas a los jóvenes y fue una de las cosas más enriquecedoras del viaje. Incluso pudimos subir al escenario y nos hicieron fotos con los novios, experiencia increíble!
