Tibetan Guest House

Initially, I thought the owner was cold and unwelcoming… We had diner mostly quietly but then he sat next to us and opened up about how two tourists had completely emptied one of his solar power batteries to the point that it damaged it and now is only functioning at 30% capacity. He was so angry yet had no energy to do something about it… The man was in the end very kind. We ate well (the fried eggs, veg, and cheese was good as well as the tibetian bread in the morning that comes with dhaal). I would recommend making thicker dhaal with more garlic though, it was very liquid… The momo’s and pizza’s looked very good too - we saw them make the doughs from scratch! The staff was kind! Don’t hesitate to give tips to the cleaners and non-owners of the buildings, they earn a lot less. Showers were intensely hot and the beds super comfy with very very warm blankets!! You can also go to the rooftop to see the sunset:)

This was our favorite tea house stay during our Langtang Valley trek in 2024. This part of the valley feels incredibly peaceful and just magical. We spent my husband’s 25th birthday here, and I asked the owners in the evening if they could make a small cake for him. Not only did they make him a BEAUTIFUL and tasty birthday cake, but all the owners came out to sing Happy Birthday to him and had him blow out candles. It was the most touching and kind thing we’ve ever experienced while traveling, and we’ll never forget it. The eating area was comfortable and it fills with sun from the windows; food was great as well. We had a comfortable room and bathroom too. We would make it a point to return here if we have the pleasure of being in Langtang again.

Great place! The building is new, everything clean, the view is breathtaking! Also there a toilet and shower inside your private room. The best shower we had in Nepal so far! The food is really delicious and the owners are nice and welcoming.

Surrounding open spaces offer a charming green embrace, making this abode a blissful retreat. The lady owner was fantastic & she guided us to their lodge at our next stop. Their cooking and drinks are marvelous in the log heated and cozy dining room. Every body is holed up here. The service levels are quite high and they have an exhaustive menu. The toilets & wash area is just outside the dining cottage. The windows offer sweeping views of nature. Perfect place to chat with a mountain.

très très très bon lodge, accueil et repas copieux, ce trek étant quelque peu cher(pour le népal), ici ils n'hésitent pas sur les portions et tout s'équilibre parfaitement. Grande cour , style cour d'école où les chevaux viennent de temps à autre faire une visite en gastronomes ,pas de béton, lodge typique bois , Goutez la pizza champignon basilic....

Our favorite tea house on the trek. The owners are very sweet and will help you with anything. The food was the best of all tea houses we stayed in. If you stay, choose one of the rooms on the south side. They get nice and warm with the sun coming through the window.

New hotel in langtang village with best facilities

I was here during the off-season at the beginning of February. The prices were unbeatable, the food was great, and the portions were generous.
