Under The Sun Aquarium, Udaipur

Visited Under The Sun Aquarium with my family and had a good experience overall. The aquarium is set up as a large walkthrough gallery with fish tanks on both sides, featuring a wide variety of fish ranging from very small to quite large. I even spotted jellyfish (though I'm still not sure if they were real or not 😄). Kids will especially enjoy the place. The area is air-conditioned and well ventilated. There can be a slight fishy smell at times, but it wasn't a major issue. The ticket price felt reasonable for the experience. One thing I really liked was the photography service at the entrance. They take your photo when you enter and can provide a printed copy within minutes for around ₹210, which makes for a nice souvenir. Apart from the aquarium, they also offer fish spa, massage chairs, VR experiences, dynamic photography, and a few other attractions. There is also a food court/restaurant at the end of the tour. The staff was very cooperative and helpful throughout the visit. If you're visiting Udaipur with family, especially with children, this place is worth checking out.

Visited the aquarium yesterday. The collection of fishes was good and the place was decent for a family visit. Some tanks were well maintained and the lighting looked attractive. While some tanks were empty. However, cleanliness and overall maintenance can still be improved, and a few sections felt crowded. Overall, it was an average experience and worth visiting once.

⭐ 1/5 — Not Worth Your Money. Avoid. Visited the aquarium near Fateh Sagar Lake today and left feeling completely cheated. The entry ticket itself is ₹174 per adult — which feels steep for what's on offer. But the real shock comes once you're inside. Almost every activity has a separate price tag. Want to do anything meaningful? Pay again. And again. The activities are basic and overpriced — nowhere close to justifying what they charge. To make matters worse, the staff attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming. For a tourist destination in a city that depends heavily on tourism, this kind of experience is unacceptable. It felt less like a leisure attraction and more like a systematic effort to extract money from visitors at every step. This is a tourist spot in the heart of Udaipur, visited by families from across the country. The Rajasthan Tourism Department and local authorities need to urgently review the pricing, the activity charges, and most importantly the staff conduct here. Save your ₹174 and spend it at Fateh Sagar Lake promenade right outside — it's free, beautiful, and the experience is ten times better.

A very well-maintained and air-conditioned facility. The entrance shaped like a shark's mouth is a cool touch. There are plenty of rare fish to see, and the informative displays are helpful. Just a heads-up that extra activities like the VR and fish spa cost more. Overall, a unique experience in the city of lakes.

Good place near Fateh Sagar lake to visit. Entry ticket is 180 for adults and half price for kids above 3. Apart from ticker price VR experience has separate price of 160 or 320. Fish pedicures are paid. Also they click your picture on entry if you wish to take it it will cost 250rs. Overall a good experience and they have lot of fish varieties in display.

Very good and maintained aquarium. Good for kids. We tried VR also here, which took us deep into the sea. Which was not worth the price of 320 per person. Aquarium entry of 175 was separate for adults.

The aquarium is a nice change of pace from all the outdoor activities in Udaipur. You can come here to beat the heat during the day and enjoy some time with the different varieties of fishes. There's also a 3D picture room, a massage chair and fish pedicure so there are other non-aquatic stuff to enjoy too. There's a cafeteria on the ground floor and a shoes off restaurant on the first floor. We tried the ground floor canteen and the food was pretty good and of reasonable price.

My visit to Under The Sun Aquarium was a wonderful experience, with a wide variety of colorful marine life and beautifully maintained exhibits. The peaceful atmosphere and unique underwater world made it an enjoyable and memorable stop in Udaipur.

Beautiful Aquarium inside out .. Variety of aquatic animals Photo booths, VR experience into deep sea plus there is a resturant which has glass floor n water with fishs in it and also on eating table is kind of small aquarium.. kids will loves this for sure and so as adults.. just keep in mind don't wear skirts etc as it mentioned also and no shoes allowed too ..coz of transparent glass from beneath..

If you have kids you can try it.. not that you are missing on something exquisite but its good for them. Pro tip- if possible let only one adult escort the kids, and save your tickets. One parent / adult shall be sufficient for this tour.

I visited Under The Sun Aquarium recently. 🐠 The variety of aquatic life was interesting, and I enjoyed seeing some unique species. However, some exhibits felt a bit small for the creatures housed there. 🐡 The overall experience was okay, but I've seen better aquariums. 🌊 I did appreciate the effort put into the display. 👍

The price is around 180 per person adult. I have visited this and it doesn't worth even 50 rupees. Very poor maintained. Staff is also not trained. Only children will like that, for adults I don't think there is something special, instead watch lake nearby.
