Overview A beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained spiritual oasis located near Juhu Beach. It features a stunning marble temple dedicated to Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari, a cultural complex, a guesthouse, and a famous vegetarian restaurant. Highly recommended for spiritual seekers and tourists alike. Pros: Highly serene, peaceful, and positive spiritual vibe. Extremely clean campus with good facilities (free footwear stand, clean toilets, and wheelchair accessibility). Amazing food options, especially the pure vegetarian 'Govinda's' buffet and quick snacks at the food court. Cons: Gets heavily crowded during evenings, weekends, and festivals like Janmashtami. The main temple hall closed from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Finding parking nearby can be challenging during peak hours

From the moment you step through the gates of ISKCON Juhu, the chaotic rush of Mumbai completely melts away. Calling this place "beautiful" would be a massive understatement, it is truly magical, deeply healing, and profoundly spiritual. Here is why this sanctuary holds such a special place in my heart: The Energy: The main temple hall possesses an undeniable, vibrant energy. Sitting down during the evening Aarti, surrounded by the rhythmic chanting of the Maha-Mantra and the scent of fresh flowers and incense, is a transcendent experience. Healing Atmosphere: If you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or spiritually drained, this is the ultimate place to find peace. The serene marble architecture and the beautifully adorned deities of Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari exert a calming effect that instantly centers your mind. It feels like a warm embrace for a tired soul. A Complete Spiritual Experience: Beyond prayer, the entire complex is designed to uplift you. The staff and devotees are incredibly welcoming, the bookstore is a treasure trove of wisdom, and you absolutely cannot miss the delicious Prasadam at the Govinda’s restaurant. Tip: Try to visit during the evening Aarti. The atmosphere is electric yet peaceful, making it the perfect time for deep reflection and meditation. Whether you are looking for a deep spiritual connection or just a quiet corner to breathe and heal, ISKCON Juhu is a divine haven in the city. I leave here feeling renewed every single time. 🙏🌸

recently visited the ISKCON Temple Juhu on a weekend during the occasion of Ram Navami, and it was truly a divine experience. The atmosphere of the temple was very peaceful and filled with positive energy. The highlight of my visit was the “Nauka Vihar” (boat festival), which was incredibly beautiful and mesmerizing. The decoration of the deities, the lighting, and the overall arrangements were absolutely stunning and heart-touching. The deities here are so beautiful and divine that just looking at them brings a deep sense of peace and calm. Overall, it was a very peaceful and spiritually uplifting experience. If you are in Mumbai, this temple is a must-visit—especially during festivals, when the environment becomes even more vibrant and special.

Visited ISKCON Juhu recently and honestly, the vibe there is something else. The temple is so peaceful and beautiful, especially during aarti time — the energy feels really calming even if you’re not very spiritual. The chants, lights, and atmosphere instantly make you slow down and feel lighter. The temple premises are very clean and well maintained. Loved seeing the beautiful idols and architecture. Also tried the prasadam/food there and it was fresh, simple, and delicious. Despite being crowded, the management is quite organized. A perfect place in Mumbai when you want a break from chaos and just want some peace for your mind. Definitely worth visiting at least once. 🌸

The ISKCON Temple in Juhu, formally known as Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari Temple, is one of Mumbai’s most revered spiritual landmarks. Inaugurated in 1978, the temple was the vision of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who founded the Hare Krishna movement. Built on four acres of land once known as "Hare Krishna Land," the temple stands as a testament to his perseverance. The magnificent structure is crafted from white marble and features a stunning 100-foot dome, making it a "spiritual oasis" that provides a serene contrast to the relentless energy of the surrounding city. The temple’s architecture is a masterful blend of traditional Indian design and modern functionality. Inside the main hall, visitors are greeted by intricately carved pillars and vibrant murals that depict scenes from the Mahabharata and the life of Lord Krishna. The central altars house the beautifully adorned deities of Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari, Sri Gaura Nitai, and Sri Sita Rama Laxman Hanuman. Throughout the day, the air is filled with the rhythmic chanting of the Maha Mantra and the sound of traditional instruments, creating a meditative atmosphere that draws millions of devotees and tourists each year. Beyond its religious significance, ISKCON Juhu serves as a comprehensive cultural and educational center. The complex includes the "Heaven on Earth" wing, which features a spacious library of Vedic literature, a guesthouse, and a boutique. A highlight for many is Govinda’s, the in-house restaurant that serves delicious *sattvic* vegetarian cuisine to hundreds of guests daily. Through its various initiatives, including youth programs and Vedic education courses, the temple continues to be a vibrant hub for community service and spiritual growth, remaining a cornerstone of Mumbai's cultural fabric.
