Hotel Santosh offers good food quality and satisfactory service. The staff is polite and the overall dining experience is decent. Regular menu items are tasty and worth ordering, especially for everyday meals. However, I would not recommend trying the ₹250 and ₹270 thali options, as they do not provide good value compared to the regular items on the menu. Ordering individual dishes is a better choice here. Overall, it’s a good place to eat if you stick to the regular food items rather than the premium thalis.

Perfect restaurant if you want to have an authentic taste of daal baati. A local recommended us this restaurant and we went least expecting anything. But just at 250/-, you get an unlimited thali with daal, baati, churma, gatte ki sabji, rice and chaas. The service is prompt and staff is helpful.

The restaurant and food is good. The staff is very co-operative. You may find the regular dish (dal bati) spicy so first try/ taste before placing full order. The restaurant needs to work on Ambiance and cleanliness inside the sitting area.

Visited Santosh Dal Baati, Udaipur and had a really satisfying experience. The dal baati churma was authentic and delicious. The service was quick and polite, and the overall ambience was simple, clean, and traditional. If you want to enjoy true Rajasthani dal baati in Udaipur, this place is definitely worth visiting. The paneer sabji had no taste at all, and the rotis were very poor quality. Within just 2 minutes, the rotis became hard and were not edible. Overall, the food quality was very disappointing.

Santosh Dal Baati has an excellent taste. I have been coming here to enjoy dal baati since my childhood, and the quality has remained consistent even today. Without a doubt, Santosh daal bati serves the best dal baati in Udaipur.....

New Santhosi Bhojnalaya serves authentic Rajasthani flavors. Their dal baati churma is rich and delicious, with baatis dipped in ghee and a perfectly balanced churma. The highlight is their lasan chutney, adding an amazing spicy kick that makes the whole dish unforgettable.

Below average food and ambience. I heard about this place from a friend and also through YouTube. But I am so much disappointed with this place. They are famous for Daal-Baati thali and Deluxe thali. We ordered the same. But I must say they should also taste their food once. Taste of food is not even average. Bati's were not even baked with moyan(ghee) and Churma was also not made fresh, it was pre- prepared, not at all hot and not even served with dry fruits and ghee. Sweetness of Churma was also not as per taste. Lehsan chatni served in this thali was also over cooked, almost burnt and not at all good in taste. Deluxe thali was also below average. It had paneer, mix veg, daal, raita. All were not tasty at all and raita was also too much sour in taste. Also, buttermilk served with Daal-Baati had only water in it. Price wise, it costed us 160/- (Daal-Baati thali) and 230/- (deluxe thali). Not at all a good deal.

Many people suggested this place .. it's good and economic .. 190₹ for unlimited dal bati, churma, gatta sabji, rice and chass.. they give generous amount of ghee also .. service is fast and food is hygienic... not a fancy restaurant just good family restaurant.. can visit definitely..

One of the most valued and common dishes of Rajasthan "daal bati choorma" can be tasted in this restaurant if you are visiting Udaipur. the place has a general ambiance of any other dine in family restaurant. kitchen is visible and open. staff is polite and the service is fast. talking about flavors , this place provides the best in udaipur as it is in pure ghee. must try the choorma sweet. Definitely try the best item of Rajasthan over here - the original Dal batti churma. Here you will get Unlimited Dal batti churma in just ₹240. You will love it. Worth visiting here

Visited a place after 8 years and it was really a disappointing experience for me. Not an extraordinary taste just a normal dal batti. Zero cleanliness check the photos I am not Rude staff Zero service

The overall experience was nice. The staff were extremely sweet and kind, and also very responsive to our needs. The food was good as well, and did not take too much time to arrive.

One of the best Daal BAATI & CHURMA in Udaipur. Shop is from since 1970. Rates are cheap with such awesome taste. As there are no proper image, so I am uploading all images. Enjoy the Taste & Photo 🙋‍♂️

To relive the memories of the meals i had here more tha ten years ago i went to this place today for lunch ... utter disappointment.. very poor service.. poor taste...half cooked lachcha Paratha.. ten minutes wait for additional roti.. another 10 minutes for sabji..non responsive staff and manager..disappointing experience..

Visited here for morning breakfast before we start our day roaming around the streets. Ordered bread butter, veg sandwich with juice which makes a energetic start for the day. It was quiet place as we were there during early hours. Only few options are there for breakfast.

Authentic Rajasthani Daal baati serving with 20Gms Desi Ghee. Ambience is not that pleasant but if you are taste lover you should definitely visit.
