Devghat Dham, located at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Trishuli rivers in Nepal, is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site. It is believed to be a sacred place where gods, sages, and saints have meditated for centuries. According to Hindu mythology, Devghat is associated with the epic Mahabharata, as the Pandavas are said to have visited this site on their final journey to salvation. The area is dotted with temples, ashrams, and caves dedicated to various deities, including Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and Goddess Sita. Many elderly devotees choose to spend their final years here, believing that passing away at Devghat ensures liberation (moksha). The site is especially significant during Makar Sankranti, when thousands of pilgrims gather to take a holy dip in the sacred waters, seeking purification and divine blessings.
