I had my left eye lasik procedure yesterday. And I'm so pleased with the result. The staff from the reception until I get my procedure were very friendly, accommodating and they've put me at ease during the procedure. My eye doctor, Dr. Wael was very good and efficient at explaining everything to me especially choosing the best option for my eye. The clinic itself is very clean and well-organised. This has been recommended by my friend who also had her lasik done here. Thank you to the Royal Spanish Center For LASIK Surgery for looking after me well. Highly recommended to my friends and family.

deeply regret having LASIK surgery at this clinic. My experience has been one of the most stressful medical experiences I have ever gone through. Before the surgery, I clearly informed the doctor that I have diabetes and asked whether it would affect the procedure. I was reassured that it would not be an issue. However, during the surgery itself after the first layer of my eye had already been removed the doctor suddenly reacted with surprise that I had diabetes and began warning me that the surgery could fail and that my vision might return to what it was before if I didn’t take care of my diabetes. Being told something like this in the middle of surgery while you are already on the table is extremely alarming and completely unacceptable. Since the surgery, my right eye healed normally, but my left eye has been a completely different story. I have dealt with blurry vision, infections, severe dryness, and a wound that still does not heal properly unless I constantly use moisturizing drops. The moment I stop using the drops, my vision becomes blurry again. This has been going on for an entire year. Every time I returned to the clinic, I was told that what I was experiencing was “normal.” One doctor even blamed makeup (after one year), the weather, everything but admitting that something went wrong during the process of the surgery. I followed whatever advice been given exactly, and nothing improved. In fact, my condition became WORSE. After seeking a second opinion from another doctor, I was told very clearly that these symptoms one year after LASIK are not normal and that the surface of my eye is still damaged and requires constant lubrication. I was even told that I may need another procedure because of the complications. It is incredibly frustrating and heartbreaking to trust a clinic with something as important as your vision and end up dealing with complications for over a year while being repeatedly told everything is “normal.” Patients deserve proper evaluation, honesty, and accountability especially when it comes to eye surgery. I strongly encourage anyone considering surgery here to do extensive research and seek multiple opinions before making a decision.

I called the clinic on 04/07/2026 at 11:58 AM to book an appointment because I've been struggling with severe dry eyes. I explained to the staff member that whenever my eye drops wear off, my symptoms come back. Instead of trying to understand my situation or help me choose the right doctor, he simply said, "Okay," stayed silent, then asked, "What's strange about that?" I found his attitude dismissive and unprofessional. The main reason I was explaining my condition was so he could recommend the most suitable doctor, but he didn't provide any useful information about the doctors or their experience with dry eye cases. It felt like he wasn't interested in helping and just wanted to end the call. I hope the clinic pays more attention to customer service. The first impression of any clinic starts with the way patients are treated over the phone, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

short story: i didnt do my LASIK with them because ilham (the lady who arranges the LASIK appointment) is extremely rude. long story: i visited this place for a certain doctor. the doctor was good and i was 100% willing to do my LASIK here. the reason i didn’t was because ilham’s customer service was so bad. i called the center multiple times to complain about her but apparently to complain about ilham’s rude behaviour you have to talk to ilham herself (i did tell her she’s rude btw and that changed nothing) she said im not eligible for thiqa and that she wont fabricate the numbers. i never asked for her to fabricate the numbers, i didnt even know i can apply for thiqa to cover the surgery. i told her im on the edge of meet the requirement like might as well try. then she said it got rejected (she didn’t submit the request, she lied about it the when i followed up she submitted). i went to a different clinic and they submitted the same request and it was approved. i called my insurance and i asked them how did i get approved at this place and not the other place. they said because the this submitted an actual request with the test results, examination and request for surgery. ilham (aka royal spanish) submitted none of that, she just put my eye power. so that means nothing for thiqa and so they rejected that same “nothing” (there was basically nothing to approve, she didn’t request anything) i was more than happy to pay for the surgery if i wasnt eligible for insurance. but it was her attitude and behaviour that made me go to a different clinic. i ended up doing my LASIK at a different clinic in dubai (not the same hospital in dubai cause i found out she manages those appointments too). i went to an entirely different hospital so i dont have to deal with her. terrible customer service. horrible person. why would i trust such a clinic when they don’t even stand with the patient and lie. she was also constantly lying it’s annoying.

I was visited this center to check my eyes as routine and I got best services and I highly recommended this center and staffs 10/10

Royal Spanish is honestly the best center for LASIK eye surgery. They always have the most updated laser machines and technology. I did my Femto-SMILE operation there under the supervision of Dr. Wael and Dr. Tamer, and the whole experience was amazing. Dr. Wael was incredible during the procedure very calm and relaxed, explaining every step to me and making me feel truly reassured. My recovery was very fast, painless, and with minimal dryness. I was able to function normally and see very well from the second day after the surgery. The doctors and optometrists wisal and fayza are highly professional, and Ilham is super kind and supportive she guided me step by step and always made sure I knew what to do. Even the receptionists, Rama and Dana, are very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this center if you truly care about your eyes. Their expertise and outstanding skill truly make a difference. You can literally trust this center with your eyes closed.

I would like to thank Dr. Tamer for the amazing Femto-LASIK procedure. It was very quick and smooth, and I didn’t feel any discomfort.
