We purchased a Kotta sofa set worth ₹50,000 from this showroom about three years ago (3+1+1 configuration). At the time of purchase, the sales team assured us that the furniture was made from single-piece wood and that there would be no cracks, as there were supposedly no joined sections or attachments. Unfortunately, the reality has been completely different. Over time, we have noticed numerous cracks on almost every piece of the set. Upon closer inspection, it appears that several sections are made of separate pieces of wood joined together rather than being carved from a single piece as promised. In many places, wood paste seems to have been used to conceal joints, cracks, and imperfections that were not visible during the purchase. We are extremely disappointed with the false assurances given by the showroom while selling this product. The sofa set has developed visible cracks throughout, making it unsuitable to display in our hall and significantly reducing its appearance and value. My advice to prospective buyers is to thoroughly inspect every piece before making a purchase. Carefully check for joints, patched areas, wood filler, and any concealed cracks, especially on the legs and less visible sections. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances from the sales staff. Overall, this has been a disappointing experience, and I regret spending my money on this furniture.
